  Also went to Applications > utilities, disk utility. and 'Repair permissions' restarted when finished. Don't know if this will help future emails.

  To project e-mails, open the preferences Mail account tab select the account gmail and go to the behaviour of the ball. Uncheck the tab where you will store draft messages on the server.

  Give a little more detail on other issues. For the lost emails, they lack also the site of the gmail webmail?

  Sign out of Windows Live Mail, run CCleaner, log out of your user account, and then sign back in.  Windows Mail will often lose a link if you have a PC with too much background running processes and the system becomes low on resources.

• Thunderbird on Windows 8.1 sends a message without error, but the mail is not delivered.

  New laptop Toshiba current A6 running Windows 8.1. Installed Thunderbird 31.6.0. Configuration completed successfully. Am able to receive the mail, but cannot send. When I send mail, I see the message "connecting to Server" and "mail sent successfully." I DON'T GET ANY KIND OF ERROR MESSAGE. Mail is never with the server.

  The automatic configuration of Thunderbird sets out to "SMTP.lakeland.ws" port 587 server. After several failed attempts to send a mail to "[email protected]" myself, I've reconfigured the SMTP outgoing, based on the configuration of my Windows 7 Windows Live Mail on another laptop: "mail.airstreamcomm.net" Port 25.

  When I sent mail with this setup I was prompted for the password for my mail server. I gave the password and mail appeared to send. NO ERROR MESSAGE and mail went to the sent queue. Subsequent attempts seem to send the email with the MESSAGE of NO ERROR but never gets the mail on the server Lakeland.ws .

  I then remove the account from Thunderbird and launched the automatic sequence of configuration to set the settings back to the original configuration. Still have the problem

• Why did I lost all of my boxes in Yahoo mail?

  Hello, recently my Yahoo Mail went bonkers and I lost all of my boxes. You know the ones that I would use to check what emails I would delete etc, etc. It looks good on my other computers and on this computer through Google chrome.

  Have you noticed any other oddities on Yahoo mail, such as cans of high with two rows of two characters? This can occur when the site requires a downloadable font for its icons and you block that by using these settings:

  (1) in the dialog box fonts Advanced, unchecking the checkbox which allows the site to use its own choice of fonts. To check that:

  "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > content > button "Advanced".

  Here you must "allow pages to choose their own fonts.

  (2) on the deactivation of fonts downloaded in: config. It's less likely, or you remember probably not, but here's how to check on it.

  • In a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.
  • In the search box at the top of the list, type or paste the gfx and make a pause so that the list is filtered
  • If gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled preference is bold and user, set false, double-click it to return it true.

• Clicks and highlighting deadly slow in Mail since 10.11.4

  Since the upgrade to 10.11.4, Mail is behaving very oddly.  Everything that requires a click to the trackpad is slow.  Click on the text and it takes 2 seconds for the cursor to appear.  Underline text even.  By clicking on send, the same etc.  But if I use a mouse, not the trackpad, it works great!  I checked Activity Monitor and Mail is hogging a huge amount of CPU (see the attached screenshots - more than 100% of the processor, although it falls, if I work in another application for a while).  Mail is good after the relaunch, but after using it for 10 to 15 minutes, clicking them and highlighting becomes slower and slower.  I've disabled all Mail modules and uninstalled my trackpad utilities, but none of this makes no difference to the problem. Trackpad clicks, etc. function as usual in the Finder and all the other apps I've tried.  Only problem is Mail.

  Click on the trackpad and train takes 2-3 seconds to appear in the Mail.  NB: Trackpad normal activity in the Finder and all the other apps I've tried.

  One workaround is to use the mouse.  Quitting mail and reboot (or restart computer), back issues of normal responsiveness for about 5-10 minutes - but then very slow cursor and highlighting of the statements.  Have you checked the folder cache Mail in ~/Library and files inside are tiny.  Key issue seems to be that Mail consumes all CPU.  I know for a fact, that he did not have it before.  But I'm not skilled enough, (you) to know why this could be.

  For some programs, turning it off is not enough. You may need to uninstall and reinstall in custom Mode and remove the analysis when e-mail messages.

  I think I have two problems (?) with Windows Live Mail 2011.  I moved some 800 messages from one of my inboxes to a storage folder.  Since then, the first of several messages in the storage folder open them all the contents of an email that I don't think that is still here at all.  The rest of the 800 emails open to say:

  The contents of this message cannot be found. »

  I tried moving them back to the original without changing folder in the problem.  I also tried to delete the email database and revived the program.  Direct mail went through the stages of the reconstruction of the database, but the problem remains.  Can someone tell me what is the problem and how to fix?

  No - sorry Jess, but you will need to create a landing page / microsite (which will have an external link you can use in Twitter).

  As a general rule, I still think it's a good idea to keep information in the super-simple emails and add the info more complex on landing pages:

  1. You can help "scanners" identify the essential information in a simplified email
  2. You can continue to make modifications / corrections / updates to the long landing page after the e-mail went out

• DW CS5 Johnson CS5.5 errors

  I've been running CS5 DW without no problem, when 5.5 was released I updated the entire suite. Applications worked well except that I noticed when I'm downloading some files on my web server, sometimes that I would have problems button overview as well as some other annoying problems of file in 5.5. After going nuts trying to find what the problems were and find themselves in the middle of projects I chose to return to CS5 and forgotten.

  now I was trynig to create a mobile site JQuery and realized that I had to use CS5.5, so I re downloaded and worked in the JQ file and everything seemed normal. But then I had to re do a page that forced me to save a .php file on in CS5.5 the original was recorded in 5.0 and when I downloaded and tried the file (e-mail form) I got this msg

  Went nuts looking for the problem and did not find and I got a hunch, so I re downoladed the zip file of the form of e-mail (the .php file came in) recorded in DW CS5 and downloaded to the server sent me an e-mail and it worked, so the problem is DW5.5.

  Just to inform, this situation has been corrected since I troubleshoot-made this problem with my ISP technical support. My sites are on Linux servers and when I was editing / copy / paste the code in Dreamweaver CS5.5 files that they uploaded fine until he got on the server and the server display code error inserting incorrect transport returns and line breaks. Later, we find that in Dreamweaver preferences / Code Format / line Break Type has been set to "Macintosh CR", which is fine because I'm on a Mac, but the server is Linux, so I changed the setting to Unix (LF) and that solved the problem.

  Implemented this will give you headaches, so if anyone has this problem to pass along.
