  I have not printed for a few days I have not noticed if my Wi - Fi connection worked.

  I tried to print wireless today and got the error message that the printer was not connected to the internet.  I tried to go wrong, but it did not help.  I checked the connection to the wireless router and put the password in.  It has not yet recognized it.  I tried to disable printing for my smart phone (I think it is called), but the screen froze on the circle showing the progress.

  I tried to turn off the printer with the power button, but that no longer works.

  The Wi - Fi light just keeps blinking.

  How can I disable the printer may reset?  Or can you help get my printer to recognize my wireless again?

  Hi Rhonda, there.

  I would suggest to unplug the power cord from the printer without turning it off with the switch, it will do a reset without getting rid of all the parameters. You simply leave unplugged for about 1-2 minutes to clear out any power.

• Mini is short on the wireless range

  I'm pretty happy with my Mini 1025, he does everything very well.  However, I'm not very far from the router.  At home, we have an ATT U-Verse gateway, and while my other laptop can make on the floor and the other side of the House, the Mini it is just in the next room.  At the office, I have about 30 feet from the point of transmission above the ceiling fell.  My other laptop shows the power of 100% signal in my office, but the Mini shows, at best, 2 bars.

  I fixed it myself today.  If I stay, I had ZERO connectivity.  I bought a RangePlus Wireless USB Adapter from Linksys at Staples for $79, and I now have a signal strength of 71%.  Installation was a snap.  The two systems are active.  HP tries first, find nothing, then Linksys gets to work and connected me.

  I didn't spend the money; but I need the connectivity here.  HP too bad built with these receptors of WD.  (Cruelly deficient military speech)

• HP C4480 printer makes the black spots on the longer side after change cartridge

  After several years of impeccable service (thanks, HP!), my C4480 House today started leaving black fingerprints on one side 8.5 "x 11" long.

  This started after I replaced both cartridges with certified HP cartridges.

  Three printed documents were all the same--a moderate amount of burrs in the bottom right of the document, tapering to light burrs on the top right.

  The tasks are diamond shaped. They start as a string, but 1/3 of the way to the top of the page, they space out about 1/3 inch of distance.

  I unplugged and replugged the power and USB cables at both ends, make sure the glass is clean and remove and reinstall the cartridges.

  No change.

  I'm no technician but it looks like a mechanical problem, not software.

  I have an Apple Time Capsule of 7.7.7 version and no matter what I do I can't seem to accept my manual settings wireless.  My building a House requires several APs to provide adequate coverage, and time Capsule keeps selecting wireless channels that are in conflict with other access points in the House.  Does anyone know of a work around that will allow me to force the desired channels? I use a Windows PC 10 with Airport Utility for Windows version 5.6.1 configure time Capsule. Here are the steps I followed:

  -Click on the "Manual Configuration" button at the bottom

  -Select the tab "wireless".

  -Radio mode - menu drop down select "802. 11A / n - 802. "11b / g ' (very intentional)

  -Radio channel selection - I select in the drop-down "manual."

  -Select 'change... '. "and choose"36"for the 5 GHz channel and '1' for channel 2.4 GHz, then 'Ok '.

  -Select "Update."

  After restarting the device, I check the settings and I find...

  -Radio mode is back 'automatic '.

  -Selection of the radio channel is 'Automatic' and channels do not necessarily match what I selected initially.

  The main problem is that the version of the AirPort for Windows utility is not designed to work with 802.11ac airport base stations. Unfortunately, Apple has not updated this utility since Windows 7.
