  I tried tp update the firmware of my HD-DVD player with new firmware TO35 (SD-L802B), but it is not possible. The upgrade of this Winvup button is not selectable. I had the same problem with an older firmware, but I just thought that it was because the firmware is up-to-date (book is 1 month old).

  Winvup shows my drive as "TOSHIBA DVGW/HD SD-L802B TO01 (26/10/07). The discription of To35 said, he needs a version of TO33 or T034, that is the problem?

  It is not possible to update the firmware on your SD-L802B drive because the firmware released on the Toshiba page deigned for the TS-L802A drive.
  Do not mix these two discs! It is not the same thing!

  The best way is to check the hardware, but as you mentioned, it is not an option. I suggest that you check each firmware release notes, check the previous firmware versions and dates on each version of the output material. However, it may be tedious.

  5.9.1.6 - 5o is an early version firmware which is already web published. It is recommended to go through the release notes for the firmware before deciding to upgrade to it. This will give you an idea if anyone of you are existing problems (if any) are fixed in the release.

  I'm sorry, I just saw it. Where did you get the IP address. Normally, when these have been reset to factory they should be 192.168.1.245.

  Because your network seems to be a network 192.168.0.X I statically 192.168.1.100 the value your PC and connect it directly to WAP. Then you should be able to get into the GUI using 192.168.1.245.

  I have an Airport Extreme (AE) with Cox Internet in my house. Version AE 7.6.7 since the end of may 2016, I lost WiFi connection radomly. I had a Cox technician out who finished just change a 'filter' in our neighborhood who feed on other Cox at the reception. He said this analog filter had to be upgraded to a digital filter.  Despite this, my WiFi kept down again. According to other Threads of the community, this problem was solved by putting the IPV6 in AE parameter for "link-local only.  I did this and still it is falling.

  The Toshiba HDD Multimedia Stor.e TV supports only MPEG-1/2/4, DAT, VOB, MP4, AVI, XVID and MJPEG files.
  If you want to use another type of file, you must convert in one of the supported file types.

  The TV Stro.e was not developed to play files metadata of Mac and it s so not able to read them.
  So unfortunately, it cannot update any firmware released for this.

  You copy the files to a Windows PC or you convert to one of the supported format.

  Sorry for no better news but that s with the specifications of the TV Stor.e.
