  Hi, I upgraded my Surface Pro to Windows 10 2... had no problems connecting to R7000 on band 5G. After upgrade the R7000 firmware to the latest version (V1.0.4.30_1.1.67), I now have problems connecting on the band of 5 G. Tablet must be adjacent to the router to connect on 5G band however once connected is connection is kept at distance (about 50 feet). However if I choose the 2.4GH I have no problem in establishing the initial connection to a distance of band. Did someone else has this problem and is there a solution?

  Thanks a bunch, I went through all the processes of 'Factory Reset' and which certainly did not help. I took your advice and your instructions on return to 1.0.4.28 and it worked like a charm!

  I am now my Surface automatically compressed to a distance of 50 feet or more, through 3 walls on my terrace (as far as I dared so far) no problemo!

  With the latest firmware, I had to be sitting next to the router. The latest firmware is really baaad!

• How to integrate the htm files translated into an existing project?

  I work with RoboHelp HTML 7.03 and have inherited a webhelp project that was created with an earlier version (RoboHelp for Word 5.0 or an earlier version). Even before I had the chance to get wet feet and having never used before RoboHelp, asked me to send the project for the translation into French. Not knowing the files to send, I've zipped all and sent it. Translation company returned files htm, hhc and perfect.

  Now, my problem is how can I get these translated files in my project so that I can generate a system of online help that I can give to my developers?

  I read the article by Ben Minson and have tried to follow him with the project, I found myself with that. No chance! I read also elsewhere where people just made copies of their project and just drop the files translated into place and place the English files. I have not tried because I know exactly how to copy the project: copy to a new location or create a new project and copy the specific files from the old project?

  I would greatly appreciate help or advice I can get on this problem.

  htm, hhc, and perfect files is usually exactly what needs to be translated.

  If that's what they delivered...

  -Make a copy of the English help, with Windows Explorer and rename the root folder, so that you can clearly see it's French project.

  -Check that the files in a folder structure that matches the original. If this is the case, copy the htm, hhc files and copied perfect helps the project.

  -Open the updated with RoboHelp help project. Check the settings of the project, under the file menu and change the necessary help to the French language. Verify that the default output is what you want (probably WebHelp).

  -Generating assistance.

  That should do it.

  My printer color laserjet (color laserjet pro m252dw) no longer works due to not recognize a black cartridge to third because of a recent update of the firmware. Error given is 'Supply memory error'.

  I already looked to the top of the page of Software Support for this printer, but new and recent firmware update is not released/listed, only the firmware upgrade market is given.

  I'd appreciate advice and instructions on how to return/repair my printer no longer print.

  According to the other thread that I have commented on the user managed to solve the problem of roll back firmware version 20160331 to 20150716 .  Unfortunetly the user did not comment if the old version of firmware is out so that we can share a simlilar solution.  It may be that this person had a copy archived in offline mode or found another source outside the HP support Web site.

  At least you can get an older version of firmware all the steps that we share for the firmware downgrade won't do you no good.  I'd be careful to search a German site for firmware updates.  HP has put regional locks in place according to international contracts, that they do to market their products in a given region.  Using a German firmware on a printer WE made may have strange side effects on what types of cartridges are allowed.

  What is perhaps a better use of your time would be to contact your 3rd party cartridge company and see if they can send you a cartridge that is compatible with the new firmware.  Chances are that they have seen the same problem with other users and already have a chipset to work around the problem.  In this way, you can stay on the newest firmware and continue to use your favorite too cartridges.

• USB-TC01 gives error-201165 "firmware for this device is too recent.

  Not sure where else to this post, but the USB-TC01 DAQmx uses, so maybe someone recognizes this.

  I plug it to the USB port and it lists very well.  It runs the application very well canned.

  But when I try to take data under DAQmx 9.1.5 I get this curious message, as well as boards "Downgrade of firmware for this device" I don't want to do that.

  EDIT: I see that the firmware of the device is 1.1.0f 1

  The specifications of the USB-TC01 don't say what version of DAQmx is necessary, although 9.1.1 supports the device.

  I tried on XP and Win7 with the same result.

  I guess that "ancient" is relative.  Budget and LV9 story of me and I have to stay on the DAQmx version.  But NEITHER finally took me in his Web and it's time for an upgrade.  A trial version of new LV and 9.9 DAQmx solved, of course.  I just wish that error message had been less weird.  At least, it is here for someone else could find an answer, no matter how obvious.

• Copy an application translated into APEX

  I have an application translated into the Apex, my version of the Apex is 4.2.1.00.08. The application is in production version, a lot of people use it every day. The main language of the application is in English, and there translations in 5 languages. Everything works fine now; even if there are minor changes in demand, we are able to seed it, download the XLIFF files and that publish the changes in all translations. Simple so far.

  My problem is that I wanted to "clone" of the application, including his translations to a new because I intend to rebuild some parts of it. I want to keep the current version intact, do not disturb users.

  The new application should be in the same workspace, with a new code. I tried a couple of approaches:

  • Copy the main application by enabling the option 'copy the translation' - this creates a new application and also seems to create new applications translated, that are empty (not buttoned, unpublished).
  • Export the main application and to import it with a new application ID defined manually do the same with the translated applications and set the ID correct part translation of mapping of shared components > translation. When I try to run the main application, it works, but for the translated versions... Only an error saying that there is no such thing as the application page.

  The goal is to clone while maintaining the connection between the primary and the applications translated, so that if I change something in the main application, it can be planted in those translated later. At the same time, I want to keep the translations as well, since there are thousands of channels...

  Can you give me some advice? Anyone who has managed to do it before?

  as far as I know it is not possible to copy to a new request ID translations.

  I guess that's because in-house translations use the same id to their components such as the main application, just with the hand-application-id has added as decimal (ie: 38342893472.103). Copy the application to a new application id also changes all internal ID and thus the translated applications are not related more.

  Hi all! This is my first time using the support community so forgive me for any rudeness and English summary.

  I recently bought a used mid 2009 macbook pro 13 "with no disc on this subject, I installed a new empty 120 GB ssd drive.

  I asked a friend and he has downloaded and made me a usb bootable with osx on it (lion). I instaled the osx and got the macbook running successfully and it was perfect.

  I decide to update and went up el capitan wich sucessfully installed. After the update I tried it out, web navigation simple, when suddenly, out of nowhere the mac stop (much battery left and the led indicator to confirm) and has not started since... when I turn it on the led light flashes and it gives the s.o.s. beep (3 short beeps followed by 3 long beeps and then 3 short beeps) the optical drive made his usual looking noises of boot and the fan continues to spinning, I tried to remove the battery 10 minutes several times and nothing... I read a lot about the problems of ram tested with one stick at a time in the two slots and no improvement... bought a new pair of hynix 2 gb 1066 mhz pc3-8500 ddr3 sticks as recommended for this model and replaced the "old"... did nothing.

  I have no original discs just the macbook itself and the charger. Also tried to boot from the usb drive... not good... tried to start mode revovery... nothing that the black screen and a beep sounds.

  I did some research and read a looooot online and in discussions such as this apple and found it to be the sound warning for bad/corrupted efi rom (as opposed to the majority of people declaring it to be a ram issue) which needs to be restored or flashed... However, apple does not provide or at least I can't find a picture of recovery for my model cd special I know it's the macbook 5.1 (a1278 / emc2254). Is there any solution for this? Please help in some way that you can welcome suggestions!

  I am trying to create a Chinese version of one of our applications. I have a msgrte.txt that has been translated into Chinese, and I ran countmsg.exe on update magic numbers. Countmsg.exe reports of success, and the numbers are changed.

  I replaced the following files with the new msgrte.txt for testing purposes:

  C:\Windows\SYSWOW64\cvirte\bin\msgrte.txt

  C:\Windows\SYSWOW64\cvirte\bin\msgrt4.txt

  C:\Windows\System32\cvirte\bin\msgrte.txt

  When I run the application, it blocks (unrecoverable error) whenever I do anything that requires the text in this file, for example a FileSelectPopup.

  If I use the standard version of English to msgrte.txt, the application works OK (though of course the standard popup panels have English text).

  An inspection of the eyeball of the msgrte.txt translated shows anything special on the file.

  Locale system is set to Chinese (simplified, China).

  Anyone has any ideas to identify the problem?

  I promised to report when a solution is found, so here it is:

  It turns out the format of at least some of the messages in msgrte.txt is critical and will result in the application crash if it is not correct. In my case, the message:

  1331 ' __All files (*.) " *)... »

  has been translated with a missing space character, that is to say (the Chinese equivalent of):

  1331 «files __All...»

  This message appears to be used as a filter in FileSelectPopup (and FileSelectPopupEx) specifier, so the space between the description and the designation of generic character is important.

  So if you translate msgrte.txt, be careful! If, like me, you find it translated by a third party in a language you don't understand, be doubly careful

• history of firmware for HP DV9000 model dv9317cl

  I recently acquired a DV9000 model laptop dc9317cl and I'll try to find the maximum amount of memory I can put in it. I've found several documents indicating that 2 GB is the maximum, but there are also several other saying that after putting the latest firmware in a different model DV9000, they could put 4 GB and even 8 GB in there, and it was recognized. I know the documentation HP said all 2 GB is the maximum, but sometimes out updates from the bios which allow different options and is not really get documented very well. So I tell myself if I can find the history for the firmware for the DV9000 dc9317cl model, I would find exactly what has changed or corrected. Right now I have bios F.38 which later was that I could find.

  Any help or info would be greatly appeciated.

  FWIW, I installed 2 2 gb PC2-5300 modules and it was immediately recgonized. I use BIOS F43.
