E530C suddenly displaying 1802: unauthorized network card is plugged

As the title goes, for no apparent reason my E530C suddenly gives me the 1802 error. I have not changed the map, I have not updated all the drivers, the machine was not turned off during an update or anything out of the ordinary. It was just past one day and the next day, he gave this error.

I can't get into the bios to disable the card as the error comes first.

The machine works without the attached map, but it's a motherboard that has worked so far so I can't believe that he is not part of the white list that I've read.

Please, any help at all would be much appreciated.

You have the chip Broadcom BCM4313 based on the card is installed. Yet an another FRU of this card is 20200100.

Certainly, ID above are not in the whitelist.
There are 3 chip Broadcom based on items in the BIOS E530c wl (v.2.55):
ven_14E4 & dev_4727 & subsys_060814E4
ven_14E4 & dev_4359 & subsys_060714E4
ven_14E4 & dev_4365 & subsys_061117AA

It seems ven_14E4 & dev_4313 IDs belong generic Broadcom card (not marked), or fabricated chip itself. I did not ever seen the real map with the ID of the error message shows:
ven_14E4 & dev_4313 & subsys_431314E4.
ID looks unreal.

So, I guess that the card id have been modified by a reason any. Probably the firmware caused that action, or even the card may be broken and can not pass its real ID for the laptop of the PCI bus.

  • T440p: 1802 unauthorized network card, none can not start the update of the BIOS

Yesterday, I received my Lenovo Thinkpad T440p.

I wanted to install Linux immediately, but apparently 14.04 isn't able to boot with the 2.22.

The solution suggested in various forums was to downgrade the Bios to version 1.14, I did using the Windows

Installation program provided on the Lenovo's Support page.

After reboot, I get the infamous error 1802: card plugged unauthorized network, probably because of the whitelist is not not to date.

I was told by the support hotline to update my BIOS to another version by using the bootable CD images.

I have burned different versions of them, but none of them would start.

The error will appear right after the start of the Thinkpad screen. I can't get into the Bios. Press a button (Esc F1, F11, F12), entry etc has no effect either.

  • Unauthorized network card error in Lenovo W540 with 802.11ac mini Intel PCIe

I recently purchased Intel 802.11ac mini PCIe card and tried to replace 802.11n card in my Lenovo W540. He released the famous problem with BIOS whitelist blocking:

    1802: unauthorized network card is plugged - power off and remove the network adapter (8086 / 08B 1 / 8086 / C070).

The card itself is approved FCC (FCC ID: PD97260NG)

I've updated the UEFI/BIOS in hopes that maybe he was too old to recognize the card - but no luck. Even with a 2.17 UEFI firmware there not yet accept the card. Can we do anything about it? Are UEFI future updates is going to fix it or Lenovo basically approves a list of supplier codes and ignores the rest?

I tried to find all the cards sold directly through Lenovo, but can't find anything, that's why I had to buy one separately. But it rejects it. Can we do anything about it except find another card? And if not, what 802.11ac Intel adapters can be used?

    Hello:

Driver Intel banhien displayed is not for the wireless card that your laptop is, according to what is listed in the System tab of conditions on the driver page.

The pilot W8.1 you need for the Intel 3160 are:

This package contains drivers for the Intel Wireless LAN card of supported models running a supported operating system.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp76501-77000/sp76890.exe

The other two devices shows your screenshot need these drivers...

The unknown device is probably in need of this driver...

This package provides the HP 3D Driveguard software (HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection) for the laptop models running a supported operating system. Hello @cospps,

    Thanks for the information!

I understand that you have performed the test hardware on the WLAN Module, and he said that the card was not installed.  I understand that you checked the map, to see if it is properly installed.  If you're still having problems, then you can consider replacing the WLAN Module.  You might want to test the card on another compatible device.  I hope this helps.

    Kind regards!

  • 5901tw flow 8: [Please help] unable to connect to 4G network card, driver missing HUAWEI Mobile Broadband Module

    Hi all

I just bought 8 streams HP 5901tw 4 days ago, yesterday, after internet connection using my card of 4G (WWAN driver) in my Tablet 8 Stream, suddenly the internet connection dropped and I lost my 4 G network card. I don't know why it happens by itself. But for connection Wifi still works well and wifi interface is always detected in network adapter but 4G is missing from the list.

In Device Manager I see list of pilot missing in other devices-> HUAWEI Broadband Driver Module is missing from my Windows with Bing 32 bit OS 8.1. I try to find the driver through windows update, website of hp or other sources, but is not found. I also tried to update the BIOS firmware to the latest version and upgrade of such software firmware driver LAN, etc. from the HP Web site, but still can not fix missing pilot of the HUAWEI Module of high speed.

I also try reboot several times, making recovery, but still having lack of driver for HUAWEI ADSL Module.

Last effort, I try to current level Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, but still no conclusion success lack driver HUAWEI or fixing my 4G network missing question.

Now I can still connect to the internet with my 4 G card more every trip.

Someone there solution and how is address/where to download those missing 4 G network driver (HUAWEI ADSL Module) 8.1 for Windows or Windows 10 HP 5901tw 8 streaming?

Really appreciate for any help and answer including HP support.

It's really annoying to have this problem and get stuck without a solution. I just enjoy this new Tablet HP for 2 days and now unable to connect to the 4G network more.

    Thank you.

    Kind regards

    Wachyu

I finally found the problem with the HUAWEI ADSL Module in my stream 8 HP (after 2 days of sleep trying to install and uninstall the driver and try all options).

It seems maybe some Windows Update or a driver is trying to change the firmware inside the card top debit MOBILE HUAWEI to download mode (VID:12 d 1 PID:1568), so it can't use any driver installed in point 8.1 of Windows.

I tried to manually change the download mode inside the HUAWEI tools firmware: Revskills (B. Kerler credit) return to the standard mode and then reset, then the Device Manager will detect again under the new material in NIC as HUAWEI Mobile Broadband Module (VID:12 d 1 PID:1570) and automatically installed its driver from Microsoft.

VOILLAA, My Mobile Broadband can now be re-used to connect to Internet and now also presented in the connection.

A lot of delicate here to force Windows using HUAWEI driver to use the COM Port to communicate with the card mobile broadband HUAWEI inside and then using Revskills tools to change the mode to return to standard mode.

If someone knows this problem and wants my help, just ping me and I'll be happy to help you in the orientation.

    Have you installed driver WLAN?
Make sure that the unknown device in Device Manager list is certainly related to LAN and WLAN not the card.

  • Lack of network card

I just installed a Windows 7 64 bit on my HP Pavilion DV6-7014nr (Professional), and now he is unable to detect any network. I checked the Device Manager and there is not even a tab for network cards and the only message I see on the diagnosis is 'install a driver for your network card. Windows does not detect a network card is installed correctly. If you have a network card, you will need to re - install the driver. "Where can I find the specific driver I need and how do I get it on my laptop without being able to use the internet on it? Also, I noticed under "Other devices" in Device Manager that almost everything under it has the yellow triangle mark beside him, as for ethernet, network controller, peripheral controller PCI USB controller, etc. Can I get help on this?

All the drivers for Windows 7 are displayed on your Support page. You can download the driver of network on another computer, burn it to cd (flash player probably would have not recognized without first usb drivers). Once get you internet works, you should see the page with the laptop and get the Chipset, USB, etc.

    You are the very welcome.

You need these drivers for the remaining devices...

    Ethernet controller:

This package contains the Realtek driver local area network (LAN) that allows the NIC (NIC) Realtek chip in the notebook models that are running an operating system supported.

    File name: sp56680.exe

    PCI device:

This package contains the driver that allows the Realtek card reader in laptop models running a supported operating system. The card reader allows users to read or write to removable storage cards supported, which are typically used in digital cameras, digital music players and cell phones.

    File name: sp64801.exe

Don't forget to install the graphics driver.  That rarely comes as a missing device, but if you see a standard vga adapter that is listed under the category of display device manager cards, this means that you need to install the graphics driver.

This package provides the AMD graphics driver high definition (HD) and Catalyst Control Center for models of laptop computers that are running an operating system supported. For laptops equipped with switchable graphics modes, this package contains the drivers for the two graphics (GPU). Switchable graphics allow users to switch between a graphical power mode (normally used under the power of the battery) and a mode of graphics performance. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

    File name: sp58617.exe
