• BBM bbm protected in balance mode surveys

  My BES host lit just bbm protected for me.  I am running in balance mode and BBM has been installed only once my personal side.  Now it shows protected bbm.  But, since I can't attach files in the side bbm work my bes admin told me to download bbm bbw on the side of work also.  Since it is the same bbid and two bbm on the same phone won't this cause a problem or is it the right thing to do with the new update of the balance?

  I adjusted wanted to update my post in case anyone else could use this information.

  Then, I found the answer on my own.  I added the app bbm on the side of the work of my machine to the world of blackberry from work (Q10) balance (by the bes admin because he charged here).  When it opened it combined bbid even who is on reactive begain staff aside and bbm to become unusable on both personal and professional space.  Finally he locked up just say he was trying to set up my bbm.  I did a restore on my phone from a backup I took just before trying this.  No luck, same problem.  Final solution was, do a clean phone security, then put the backup I had made before trying this AND reactivate my balancing by BES mode, once the admin sent an e-mail to reactivation.  I am now back to normal and have bbm protected work.  The BBM app is ONLY on a personal level.

  Hello... I agree with BBM and packed meetings BBM protected with him... Since the last update of the feature of automatic password does not work.

  I bought a z10 on ebay, but I didn't have any id original bb. Unfortuntly, I forgot to disable the bbm protect when I update os 10.3.2.xxx. Finally, my z10 becomes a brick...

  Fix. If you do not have the password originally BBID then the device is more usable. Return it if you can.

• Smartphone data plan (BBM, navigation and Blackberry Protect) blackBerry stops working on Blackberry 9930

  Hi I was using my Blackberry 9930 for a little over a year now, with the same data plan.

  A few days ago my laptop could not start, so I reinstalled my OS. However after successful relocation, I met a problem to access the surveys BBM, browser and Blackberry Protect.

  Wifi, browser and Appworld are fine (BBM and Blackberry Protect not fine).

  However, when I turn off my wifi, I get this.

  

  Check the service book, I noticed many missing articles...

  

  Please note that these are ALL the elements, nothing more to scroll down for.

  I noticed there is an additional element in Options > device > advanced system settings: i.e. the enterprise activation

  

  Click to open the Enterprise Activation (I also get this window when I open the mail setup), I come to the page of connection probably BES.

  

  Other messages, I understand that this could be the it policy. I've done many factory reset, via DM directly, via the command prompt using the loader/nojvm command and /resettofactory

  Things I did without success:

  -Full Wipe and reinstall operating system (7.1.0.580, 7.1.0.755 and 7.1.0.991)

  -Remove the policy with the above methods

  -Record of Routing Table, locally on the host's phone and asking the carrier to do so.

  -Access my site of carrier (telkomsel.blackberry.com) of the pc and return Service directories.

  Things to note:

  -Emails are working properly, can send and receive without wifi

  -Browser and Appworld are fine, only when the wifi is enabled

  -Change SIM on another blackberry, my data plan works perfectly

  -If I add a contact (phone B) through BBM surveys, phone B receives the request. However when a phone B accepts, nothing happens.

  -L' opposite is not true. Phone B please, my phone receives no notification.

  My career was told that my PIN code may be suspended/compromised, is it possible? and how should I proceed if it is true?

  Please advice and much appreciated.

  Indeed, the situation is delicate. The support service is always the responsibility of the carrier, because they are the entity that provides services. But subsidies related to the device falls to the original place of purchase, or an entity to which they have assigned to your supported devices. When the unit was purchased elsewhere, the service provider can refuse support for issues related to the device. And it seems that your service provider is to determine it's a question related to the device rather than a question related to the service. I don't know if this conclusion is correct or not... I tend to interpret your situation as related to the service, rather focus on the device, but I have not seen the 'rules' that they must follow to do this.

  As such, your next step would be to contact the Manager of your support related to the device. Maybe it's your place of origin of the purchase, a service centre or other entity... it varies depending on the region, and I have no idea of what the device-support model is made for you. If you are unsure, contact your original purchase for orientation.

  If all goes well, they will be ready to take your case and it degrades to the BlackBerry without cost to you. I can't say whether they will be or will not be. Sometimes, when issues come and the two types of support (device and service) are not provided by the same entity, there may be a tendency for each to blame others, unfortunately, leaving the end user without recourse, but to continue to try to climb with both entities until you reach someone who will be willing to take responsibility and provide the necessary climbing.

• Polls BBM Torch 9810 BBM stuck on the implementation of surveys BBM

  I am fairly new here and on blackberry phones. I use bbm on my Nexus4 for a while now and bought a Blackberry Torch used to use with BBM 9810. My problem is that whenever I set up BBM it is stuck on "setting up BBM. I looked on the internet and tried everything I could to restore to the factory settings, update to the latest BBM, password changing to include letters, letters below, numbers and symbols, but nothing seems to work.

  Does anyone has this problem after doing all this (the forums more some of the thigs above seem to work, but not for me).

  Any information would be appreciated.

  A plan of BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) - is a dedicaed to plan special data for legacy devices BlackBerry (Running OS 7 and earlier versions). You must have a BIS plan to be able to communicate and have access to the BlackBerry Services as Emial, BBM, BlackBerry Protect messaging Apps etc.

  Regular data plan or WiFi does not work. I suggest that you contact your network provider, they can help you with this question.

  Please help - I have a blackberry 9720 and was happy with T-mobile on December 31, 2015, T-mobile sent me a text with my PAC code, I stupidly had another phone under contract elsewhere, I do not have with the new phone has so cancelled the contract and returned the phone within 3 days, my T-mobile Blackberry services were always - so I waited for the CIP code to recover my phone number.     However on December 7, T-mobile blackberry services cut off, I immediately called them and explained the situation, asking to be reconnected.  I was told that I have to go buy a new sim card and they will sort it.  I did so, but now only EE available sims.  I called and they assured me Blackberry data package added to my phone - but nothing works and the host Routing Table is empty.  So for the past 8 days, told me to connect the phone to Blackberry Desktop manager, uninstall, reinstall, 100's of reboots, 100 registry routing host messages sent but STILL NOTHING, I was able to get into my Blackberry ID, but emails say cannot connect to the server and BBM remains on a blue screen.  It is so annoying as 8 days now of mucking around but still no access to Blackberry services.  EE say everything is OK from their end, but they can't pick up my blackberry, they tried to say lack of phone but phone was purchased from T-mobile, and up to 7 December worked perfectly.  Friends and family have put their sim in and phone and blackberry works. The spindle is* edited for the protection of personal information.  They refuse to reactivate the SIM that I still have and say what EA is the same as T-mobile, although their packages say different.

  I checked the PIN you provided and it shows a disabled.

  Given that this is the case, you will need to ask your wireless provider to set you up a wireless data plan, make sure you can send you a test PIN message that must confirm the data connection.

  We strive to integrate with BBM but our application will be installed as a whole in the company rather then the personal workspace workspace, and we get the RegistrationState BlockedEnterprisePerimeter error.   Fix.  Protected BBM is a standard Client BBM feature, which still resides in the personal area.  Check BBM is still only possible from personal perimeter.

  Parental control is not a privacy control. It is intended to disable certain features, a parent doesn't want a child to help. So, if you enable the control for BBM it will remove the icon. If you turn it on the browser, it will remove the browser, etc. You may completely disable parental control.

• Queries on BBM BBM

  I have a couple of queries for BBM.

  1 - is the BBM (on device Blackberry OS 10) function without any SIM card or if the SIM card is passed to another card? I'm new to OS 10 that is why this issue.

  Previously, I used unit BB OS 7 and while on international roaming when I changed the SIM card on my phone, all cats stopped working, I couldn't whatsapp or BBM work.

  2. is protected BBM deployed on the BES server or on the cloud. Is the option of the BES server on site for instant messaging among employees through the cloud server based? If protected BBM is deployed to the cloud, and how companies can control their own encryption keys?

  Note: If the BBM will work without the SIM then its an important feature, especially those who travel a lot. We don't see no BlackBerry made a lot of marketing around that, virtually no one knows about it. It goes same for retraction of message, very useful when you accidentally send the message of public bad.

  The chat history is stored permanently on the map of support IF you have enabled this feature in the options.

  The behavior you describe below is planned. The only way to keep the same PIN is to continue to use BBM on the same device with the same account on BlackBerry ID.

  Whenever you move to a new device, install BBM with the same BlackBerry ID, you will receive a new PIN code. This behavior is identical to a BlackBerry smart phone, as the PIN is directly related to the peripheral equipment.

  So in my opinion, you have violated the guideline, the content of the channels of BBM. It is not clear to me what specific rule you violated because your message was unclear, perhaps you post potentially malicious links or mislead, I don't know... Unfortunately, you cannot recover the said channel BBM, you can always create a new channel, but avoid violating the guidelines again to prevent your BlackBerry ID being suspended permanently.
