Making Smartphones blackBerry wiped out BBM messages

Hello

I just wanted to know if there is some way you can view the messages after you finish your cat or clear messages on BBM?

And no they were not saved to the PC or Blackberry protect.

Is the history of cats not stored on a file DB on the phone somewhere and call the event log holding the key pressed Alt and type lglg?

Thank you

Concerning

Keegan

The chat history is stored permanently on the map of support IF you have enabled this feature in the options.

You did (before crossing the cat)?

Otherwise, no, it has no trace of cat stored somewhere.

I use voice control on my BlackBerry Z10 to try and send a BBM message to my wife on his BlackBerry Curve 9320. I added him as a BBM contact. But the voice command tells me that his name is not a BBM Contact when I use it. So I'm not able to do.
I used the voice command to send SMS text message and dial his number and his mail without problem. Is there a compatibility issue? Can I use BBM without voice command to send a message, but also to voice chat.

First of all, I made the assumption that your phone is BIS, which is a configuration custom. BES is more for corporate phones.

What is your personal phone? If is probably the installer as ENCORE.

  • My blackberry wiped out BlackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I am new to the forum and the Blackberry. I bought a used Blackberry 7290 and tried to load a game. I got the 400 (reset) error message. Of course I must have erased all the info. I get the error message 400. I tried what Blackberry proposed with the Office Manager, and it did not work. The application loader now sees nothing on my phone. Is it possible to load it again? I do not have a CD and could not find it on the blackberry website.

    Thanks for any help!

We like that icon and other gray could have been "hidden".

Highlight and hover over the icon in question and press Menu > display.

Now, it appears not strong again?

    Hello epiczizi

I guess you gave BlackBerry plan / BIS already on your account, otherwise you call carrier to turn that on and it your current problems with BBM7.

If you already have this (BIS) on your account so you can try that to see if that helps. First of all on your home screen, go to Options > Application > delete BlackBerry Messenger in the list

KB10040  : How to display or remove installed application on a blackberry smartphone

Perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered. Wait a minimum then reinsert back. Your device can take a long restart.

Finally, from your BlackBerry browser go to www.blackberry.com/bbm to download the recent version of BBM available for your device. After you have installed your device may restart and associate with your BlackBerry ID.

  • Smartphones blackBerry email settings AND Message option Services

    Hello

    QUESTION 1:

I have my BB Storm connected to my outlook (aka my work email) and two 1) to gmail and 2) MSN personal e-mail accounts. And on the screen of the main menu of my blackberry, I have three icons labeled as:

Messages (outlook), Messages (gmail account) and Messages (MSN account)

But what is a little irritating, it's that the emails sent from Outlook (running on my PC at work) to my Gmail or my MSN account, ALL themselves in my icon of Messages (outlook) on my BB Storm. I put the 'Save copy in sent folder' to no.

    2ND QUESTION:

In addition, I can't understand the purpose of the drop-down list "Messsage Services". There are three items in the list:

    (1) Desktpo 2) my MSN address email and 3) my gmail address. I know that when I select MSN or gmail as the 'Message Services' the available options for change. But the global options? or are they specific to the 'message service "I chose?".

I hope I am clear. I could not find much support DOCs or on the BB site.

    Thank you

    Mark

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

    1. your key messages folder will get all THE electronic, all. We cannot dissociate the BIS personal mail out, but you can BES email (work) to help empower BES Inbox. Google for more information.

    2. the "office" is your work email. The options change whether you use your work email account or accounts of the persona that the first is BES and the last two are BIS accounts who have options and different functions.

  • Smartphones blackBerry at startup error message

    I have a Bold 9000.

I tried to download the ZDNET app and when I tried to run, he said that there was not enough memory, which was not the case (a 15 meg available).

Thus, several times I tried to uninstall and reinstall the software.

Now, when I boot I get "Reload Software: 552" and there is a "" icon that shows what looks like a window with forms inside. It is difficult to say because writing and icon are so small that I had to find someone else to read.

A battery pull does not solve this problem.

That's all what I can say because I can't start the phone to determine anything else.

The re-boot, Bluetooth seems to be active. Every once in a while, probably about 5 minutes, the bluetooth headset will beep. By pressing the buttons on the bluetooth does nothing.

None of the keys on the keyboard do anything. Now pressed the red phone key does nothing.

    How should I proceed?

    Hello!

It's hard to know for sure - you must know the precise requirements of the app... but I agree that it is hard to believe.

    Uh oh... read this:

If this does not help, you will have to do exactly what the message says:

  • Excursion to Smartphones blackBerry and deleting multiple messages

I had the ride for 24 hours and have had blockages my 4 BlackBerry previous combined.

5 times, I selected a number of e-mails (note - E-mail synchronized to Exchange through BES) to delete, and as soon as the process begins, the unit freezes with the little clock icon in the middle of the screen (hands frozen in place). The only way to fix this was to remove the battery and restart the device. VERY frustrating because the tour takes FOREVER to restart.

Does anyone else have this problem or developed workaround?

    Thank you.

I chose before deleting before and he has released 50 messages at a time and did not even see a timer. I imagine more emails most likely would be to heppen but this shouldn't happen on say 10-20 at a time or even 30-40. especially pretty forcing you to have to pull the battery.

There are 4 possible things that could be the cause.

1 shift of BB software - reload resettoctory or software should fix this

    2. 3rd party software interference - find out what apps are running in the background by opening the application switcher

    3. Exchange/BES Server lag - not much you can do, but your could restart servers, or delete and readd to the system

    4. memory leaks - check your memory just before doing a mssive delete (registered options) and then, if you can get to this betweentimers, check once again, then check again after battery pull. compare all.

Another thing you can do is to accumulate 50 emails, check the steps of tests for numbers 2 and 4. When Delete Deletes 25 of them. After that timer and battery remove, delete the other 25 right away and see if you get a timer then.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones blackberry wiped my phone device manager!

I am so angry, I can't even begin to express my anger here.

Its almost 01:00 in the morning here, in South Africa, I loaded the blackberry Device Manager on my phone and tried to communicate between my laptop and blackberry, but and this is a big BUT, ad nauseam BB Device Manager kept asking me a password for the device. I typed and retyped my password a few times 4774!

Finally, on my 10th attempt he wiped my phone!

I'm so so upset, because I had some really important numbers that I saved this handset today.

I mean, tomorrow, I can't contact a business for a very important meeting.

I have this in my life right now. I am so angry, I'm spitting up, bile, honestly.

Can I give this phone, that's what I sincerely believe that it is right now!

This is an age new phone with numbers imported from my old phone.

Do not ask your old phone!

I've read a few posts on the BB reading of numbers as words... but I mean the devil WT?

Surely the people at BB can see that this is a common problem and DO SOMETHING TO STOP this PASSWORD THING.

    With Device Manager!

    EDIT: Removed censored words

    Hi apothecary.

Sorry to hear the loss of data in your BlackBerry.

In fact, it is a default feature for the safety of the aircraft, where to enter the password 10 times in a row is going to wipe your device. Is your device BES (business service) or BIS (individual service). If on BES so you can recover all PIM data that do not exist on your desktop e-mail program.

It is recommended that you always keep a backup copy of your data from the device so that you can avoid these unexpected events.

  • Smartphones blackBerry 8350i, MMS, instant messaging messages

I read a bunch of discussions on how to separate emails MMS messages. My 8350i came like that, but I want my MMS messages to receive in my main folder. Switching back is such a pain.

Someone knows how to do this?

Also, I liked the BB Messenger (IM) icon, I got on my 7520. Anyone know how to create an icon for that on my main screen?

Thanks in advance for your help, it is greatly appreciated.

In order to get the BB Messenger icon on your home screen (I guess from the main screen you mean the 6 icons at the bottom of the screen saver and not the home screen menu), follow these steps:

(This is assuming you have the default menu locations).

-From the standby screen, press the [MENU] key

-Highlight the 'Instant Messaging' icon and click the trackball

-Highlight 'Blackberry Messenger' and press the [MENU] key

-Highlight 'Move To Folder', then click the trackball

-Click the 'Home' folder (should be the first)

    -Press the [ESC] key

-Put the "BlackBerry Messenger" icon (should be the last icon) and press [MENU]

-Select 'Move' and use the trackball to move to one of the 6 icons in the row of icons on the home screen, then click the trackball

    -Press [ESC]

Your BB Messenger icon should now appear as one of the 6 icons at the bottom of your screensaver, specific slot depending on where you put it in the top 6 at the home menu screen.
