EBS columns/tables/columns of DWH Tables.

Hi friends,

We're working OBIA HR - analytics. I want to draw on EBS columns/tables at some of our columns DWH. Find pl the below examples in my little investigation.

Staffing (column DWH): DWH Table: W_WRKFC_BAL_A

EMPLOYEE_NUMBER (column EBS): EBS Source table: PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F

Mapping: SDE_ORA_EmployeeDimension

Mapplet: mplt_BC_ORA_EmployeeDimension

Now, I'm trying to draw the same thing for the DWH/columns in table below:

W_WRKFC_EVT_A-> W_WRKFC_EVT_F

TERMINATION_CNT-> TERM_EVENT_IND

PL I want what are the EBS for W_WRKFC_EVT_F (table) tables/columns / TERM_EVENT_IND (column)

But, I thought m, TERMINATION_CNT / TERM_EVENT_IND is not a direct column of EBS. A logic that happens this column using different columns. But, not sure... :)

PL guide me how to solve this problem...

Thanks in advance.

    Hello

I want to use the view 'po_vendors' in one of my request

Now I want to know what it is. is it po.po_vendors or 'apps.po_vendors '.

I'm confused because I found po.po_vendors in some old request. I use oracle ebs 12.2.4

    Thank you.

    Hello

The "po_vendors" was a table in the PO schema in Oracle EBS 11i.

In R12, providers are stored in 'ap.ap_suppliers' instead.

"po_vendors" is retained for backward compatibility as a point of view and it gets the data to ap_suppliers.

  • Using the data of EBS in BI Publisher

Question: Is it possible to directly use EBS data in BI Publisher? If so, can you point me to the documentation?

    Here's the scenario:

Imagine that our company uses Oracle E-Business Suite. All the columns, tables and diagrams Oracle related to BSE. It is the backbone of our company data. Couldn't live without it.

We're also crazy to OBIEE, especially BI Publisher. We have people who are experts in BI Publisher.

The CEO of the company would like to enjoy the mountains of data available in EBS, but also the expertise of the people who are trained and skilled in BI Publisher, using the data of EBS directly in BI Publisher. The Director-general provided us with a budget and staffing appropriate to perform a single installation of all structures must be added, or middle, for this to happen.

Objective of the Chief Executive Officer is for data additions and revisions in EBS will be included automatically in the reports BI Publisher. Assuming that between Monday and Tuesday, none of the structural changes that occurred in any of the EBS diagrams, tables or columns, assuming that everything we have done is add and/or modify data from BSE, then the BI Publisher reports must reflect the Monday data Monday and, without having to do anything in the meantime, reflect the Tuesday data just sitting Tuesday and running the editor of BI reports Tuesday morning. Not every day to rebuild XML files or something like that. Just clean and totally transparent use of the EBS data it gets added and updated during the normal course of business.

In general, what steps do we need to carry out - in EBS, in the XML Editor (if any) and BI Publisher - to directly use the data of EBS in BI Publisher on a daily basis as described above?

Ideally, I like just go to the Admin page in BI Publisher and add EBS as a new data source, or perhaps to use the section of the integration of the Admin page, as we would with discoverer or workspace of Hyperion and Shared Services. But I know that's not as simple as that.

    Can you help clarify?

    Thank you!

"Ideally, I like just go to the Admin page in BI Publisher and add EBS as a new data source, or perhaps to use the section of the integration of the Admin page, as we would with discoverer or workspace of Hyperion and Shared Services. '" But I know that's not as simple as that. »

I don't know why you don't think it's as simple as that, but it is. Add a new JDBC data source, assign it to BEEP roles, create templates of data/queries against this data source and you're ready to go.

To use the multi-org views, you need to set the org_id in forward initiation of the report.

What version of BEEP are you using? We have the last BEEP 11 g, we use eBS (R12) as the security model, Teradata is our main source of data, but almost all the reports uses the security context for the multi-org eBS to limit the data of Teradata, based on the security profile of the user as defined in eBS.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you

  • Load the metadata of EBS to HFM and planning using ERPI

    Hi all

I have a confusion about the process of loading metadata to HFM EBS and planning with ERPI. These 2 applications in EPMA. The ERPI Admin Guide:

    "

EPMA - loads of metadata in the interface tables Performance Management architect

and then uses an import profile generated automatically to load the metadata in

Performance Management architect. Import profile pulls interface tables

for dimensions and the Synchronizer data pushes the data.

    "

This isn't about shared library. My question is which of the 2 following metadata stream is correct:

EBS a.-> Interface-> target HFM or planning Tables.

    OR

    b. EBS--> Interface Tables-> Shared-> target HFM or planning Library.

If b is true, why do we even need specify 2 different targets?

    Thank you all.

If the size of your account is shared in both applications, the new account will be added in both. You don't need to manually add the two applications.

  • Custom table Edit in EBS (or Multi column Lookup)

    Hi all

I'm a PL/SQL Developer and need help or advice on how I would go about using Oracle EBS to build the structure of the table below in the Application. The intention is that users will keep the table using Oracle EBS, rather than build a table, they may not maintain app.

Initially I thought that this may be an easy task with the help of a fnd_lookup, but I quickly understood the research do not allow several values per line. I assume that the alternative might be to create a custom form and attach it to a custom table that has the structure below, but before I head in that direction, I want to see if Oracle EBS has a built-in feature to this?

Guessing that Header1 would be the identifier of your line, you have a few options:

Independent the header value 1 and value dependent value for 2-5 headings.

Search using Header1 as code, then using DFFs for the remaining columns. Use the type of research according to the context, why the FDF applies only to this research.

If you use HR/Payroll modules, there is a feature of defined user tables easily available.

Assuming you want to see the query underlying the form of self-service.

First of all ensure that customizations are enabled.

Navigate to the form in question and request back an appropriate provider.

In the lower left corner of the form, there is a link "about this form" (if the link is not there, then customizations are not lit, then you will need to return to the first step and resolve) - click on the link.

Scroll down to the section "business component reference detail"-which expand by clicking on the ' + '.

In the 'View objects' section there should be a link "oracle.apps.pos.supplier.server.VendorsVO" - click on that link and you will see the query that populated this section of the form. Since you should be able to determine exactly what the table or view provides the data and column where the data comes from. You may need to work through other links in this section for everything you need.

  • where W_EXCH_RATE_G get filled from?

    Hello

Was just troubleshooting an exchange rate issue where the LKP W_EXCH_RATE table is used for exchange rate values. Could you get it someone please let me know where does get the values in this table in the warehouse?

I read somewhere that it is a general reference to OBAW table. IS this true? If so, then this means that's not pulling all the values of the source data and it has been already pre-filled by Oracle?

The reason why I doubt that when I check in the warehouse, it has w_exch_rate_g and w_exch_rate_gs. *. GS indicates an intermediate table. An intermediate table would in turn get populated from somewhere. How do I know that?

    Thank you
    Dan

    Hi Dan,.

This depends on your source system. For example, with R12.1.3 EBS as a source system, the W_EXCH_RATE_GS table is filled with the EBS GL_DAILY_RATE table.
You can find the source table using Informatica dependencies:
-you select the folder for your source system
-you select the target W_EXCH_RATE_GS and dependencies table by clicking right.

    It will be useful,

  • ODI export Essbase data

    Hi all

When you create the report script or data export calc, can we set out to relational instead of the file.

We will export the data and then load in Ebs GL_INTERFACE Table. So, we use a diagram of staging:

    1. the output to a file
    -Essbase-> staging-> file-> GL_INTERFACE

    2 output to relational
    -Essbase-> staging-> relational-> GL_INTERFACE

    Are especially valid option?

    Thank you

You can certainly use dataexport to export to a relational off ODI target if KM is designed to use the method of the file, so it will export to the file and then you can load into a table.

  • How to identify the expressions of folklore in the lot while reading File adapter

    Hello
I have a bepl process to read data from a batch of 100 records text file and write in an Oracle EBS interface table.
After the completion of the above, I have to call a partner link.
Problem here is that, how to identify the expressions of folklore, so that I could call my link partner in BPEL.
How do I get there? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

You can implement a separate process, say FileNotificationProcess, you call the link partner, based on the batch Manager wsdl to $ORACLE_HOME/bpel/system/xmllib/jca/BatchManager.wsdl. This new process would be notified of different States of the file reading activity:
    # onBatchReadStart - indicates when a file is started to read
    # onBatchReadComplete - indicates when a file is done playing
    # onBatchReadFailure - tells when a record cannot be processed by the infrastructure of adapters.
In your case, you would call the partnerlink when a notification of "onBatchReadComplete" is sent.

In your main process to the file adapter, add the below property, so that the file adapter would inform the new process of the different stages of the processing of batch file.

    bpel://default|FileNotificationProcess

This is described in detail in BPEL best practices guide page 3-18 http://download.oracle.com/technology/tech/soa/soa_best_practices_1013x_drop3.pdf and the article excellent blog of anthony at http://blogs.oracle.com/reynolds/2008/06/more_on_batch_processing_in_bp.html.

  • How does a BPEL knows when he has completed the batch file?

    Hello
I have a bepl process to read data from a csv file and write in an Oracle EBS interface table. My next task is to call a program simultaneously in EBS, once all the data have been loaded into the table interafce. I want to ask the program simultaneously in the same BPEL process. Since the incoming workload is great, I'm the batch processing of files and publication messeges in pieces. So before the BPEL process needs to know that all data have been loaded into the table of interface before he can call the concurrent program. How do I get there? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Sankash,

The FileAdapter can notify a BPEL process dedicated on when a batch begins, ends, or fails. This BPEL process must implement the operations specified in

    .. /ORABPEL/system/xmllib/JCA/BatchManager.WSDL
In bpel.xml - in activation FileAdapter agent - you must also set the following property:

    BPEL: / /.

The process BPEL will receive the 'onBatchReadComplete' callback when the last record in the batch has been sent to the BPEL process.

After this point, you can use the XPath ora function: batchProcessCompleted (batchId, processId) to determine when real bodies having their treatment is complete.

I hope that answers your questions!

    See you soon

  • Can I use custom without columns Standard tables that in jdeveloper/FPO?

    Hello!

I came across this excerpt from JDeveloper Documentation:

"Standard which columns OA Framework provides Oracle E-Business Suite that standard support column." "All objects of entity with columns of WHO should include the following attributes: CreatedBy, CreationDate LastUpdatedBy LastUpdateDate LastUpdateLogin if your object does not include the standard THAT assigns, simply provide an inefficient application for standard WHO attribute the setter methods.

This means that I can define tables custom in EBS without the Standard columns who?

"If your object does not include the standard THAT assigns, simply provide an inefficient implementation for the standard WHO attribute the setter methods.

    -How do I do this?

    Thank you.

This means that, in the area of occurrence for the table, you must provide methods 5 setter for the columns of the WHO (setCreatedBy, setCreationDate, etc.).  But these methods are not actually do any work, there should be no action taken in the method.  But they must exist.  If your custom table THAT includes columns not these methods must be created as custom after creation of the EO methods.  Short answer, yes you can create dashboards customized in EBS without columns WHO as long that the EO provides ineffective Set of accessor methods.  No guarantee, how other types of applications will be happen.

    Hi all

We are upgrading EBS 11i instance to R 12.1.3. There are interfaces to Recevibles transactions that retrieves data from a data file and import of invoices after validation.

In 11i, ra_interface_lines_all tax_code column was populated for details of import taxes. But in R12 tax_code column is not used. Can someone tell me which columns we have to fill in the table ra_interface_lines_all for the tax details, I can see there are many tax related columns. I come from the details of the taxes of the zx_rates_b table.

Which column should be used in this table as an entry in tax_code (or another column) in ra_interface_lines_all.?

    Thank you

    Patricia K.

    Hi Patricia,

The tax value is taken from ZX_TAXES_B.TAX
For TAX_STATUS_CODE, value is taken from ZX_STATUS_B.TAX_STATUS_CODE
For TAX_RATE_CODE, the value of the TAX_RATE_CODE ZX_RATES_B.
