  I was listening to music through my headphones Walker today all of a sudden the sound changes and everything sounded as if I was under water. I tried different headphones, but they all have the same sound. Sound through the phone's speaker sounds good ok and the sound of the headset on my computer. A reboot didn't help, that's why I suspect the headphone jack. Is there anything else I can try, or do I have to send the phone in for repair?

• Sound on videos streaming is choppy / sounds under water?

  On youtube and hulu, when I try to play any video, it sounds all jerky and scuba/echoy. Computer restarted twice, without change. I went to the page of the firefox plugin and some were obsolete, they are now all updated and the problem persists. Cache has been cleared, still having the problem. Music in iTunes works very well, same videos streaming on IE works fine. So, it's a FF problem. Any ideas on how to fix it?

• How can I fix my iPod mini, who sounds like he's under water?

  A mini iPod is more than ten years at this point.  Mine still works fine, except the battery weakens. I intend to replace the battery quickly.  Your mini iPod might have a hardware problem.  However, if the conversion of the files (load its compression ratio and format) play fine on the iPod, which suggests there is something wrong with (sometimes) your audio files.  They may have data corruption OR whether they are in an audio format that is not fully compatible with the technical design (hardware and software) of a 10 + years, mini iPod, while being readable on a computer more up-to-date (and forgiving) running the most recent (or recent) version of iTunes.

  What is the audio format are the original files for songs (or audio books) who do not play properly?  Do a Get Info (on one of these elements) and on the file tab, look at type and bitrate.  These audiobooks purchased from the iTunes Store or imported into your iTunes library, another source?  What size are the audio files for audio books?  How long they are, in terms of playing time?  Some really large or long items have problems on an older iPod.

  Did you do a restore on the mini iPod using iTunes?  This erases the iPod, reinstall its software and sets it to the default settings?  If there is alteration data on storage affecting audio files stored on the iPod or the embedded iPod software (and there is no hardware problem), do a restore should fix.  The restore button is on the settings screen for the summary of the iPod.

  As a test, add something new in your iTunes library that is standard AAC or MP3 format.  For example, you can import a music CD or download something from the iTunes Store, which is free, like an audio podcast episode.  These elements play correctly on the iPod?

  OK so every time comes when I'm bouncing my project I hear this curious to my recordings. When I playback what I did in the program, it sounds very good! But once it is bounced it does not look good at all and I'll give you samples so you can see what im talk.

  So maybe this is a stupid question, but I need to know because I train for a specific sound. Is there a way [to logic] to shoot/change of a certain frequency sampling rates. I can imitate the sound I'm looking for with a low pass filter, reverb and a distortion. But I don't want to 'emulate', this sound, I want to create. Then I can put my own effects and play with it like I want to. If I have to use a bunch of effects to make it sound like I want that also the addition of said effects remove the sound and sound horrible. as to where pulling the sampling frequency of the high frequency and no downs will make me THE noise that I need and always allow to add nice effects to make MY sound instead of someone else. I hope you know what I mean. Let me to you specific real once more. I want to pull or carry a certain frequency sampling rates for a sound under water. I don't want to use filters to make the sound. So can you please help me. I invited everyone locally on how to do it and nothing works. Also if this is not possible in the logic of tell me if there are third party plug ins or maybe even a different DAW that could do like komplete Kontrol or audacity.

I came here to work to find that a former roommate took them, put them in the sink running tap and left, they must have been under water for hours. I have wraped in paper towels and bags right now.   Unfortunately, you need to have the readers watched by a collection company. Their services, however, are extremely expensive.

  If readers have been sitting in water, then chances are that the water had entered the inner workings. If you tried to connect these drives, chances are that the circuits would be is pumping and destroyed. It may be that the internal parts will have to be physically removed and placed in new containers. Again, it is expensive; assuming, of course, you could get someone to do it.

  I'm sorry that I can't offer a magical cure. Maybe someone else can do?
