[El Capitan mac] Update video display drivers-error

I don't know there are other topics on this issue, and tried the solutions presented here without being able to solve the problem.

No idea how to solve the problem: "..." could not find capable video game modules. Please update your video display drivers and start over?

I have updated the system to Max OS El Capitan (10.11) yesterday. But since I have my CC a few days before, I didn't run in fact first before upgrading the system. So I don't know if this problem is related to El Capitan or not.

In any case, there seems to be a problem with the QuickTime.bundle, but what I know...

  • I need the video/display drivers for my Dell Inspiron 6000 with Windows 8.

I need the video/display drivers for my Dell Inspiron 6000 with Windows 8.  Laptop is the Intel Pentium M processor 2.00 GHz RAM, operating system, 32-bit on x 86.  My resolution is not at the right level and videos have hard play.

I went to the ATI site and when I try to download their drivers, they will not be installed because they do not recognize the Windows 8 operating system.  The site of Dell's Windows XP operating system.

Press the Windows key, type in "Device Manager" without the quotes and the Device Manager select from the list that appears, or press ENTER.

In the window that appears, find graphics card and press the sign more or arrow to the left of it. It should fall down the name of the video card you have.

    Hello

    Is this your first laptop?

  • Impossible to update the display drivers for Satellite L650

I have L650 and AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470.
First of all, I wanted to update my drivers Toshiba program showing that this driver is old. OK, I downloaded, install and then, months later, window pop-up, this driver is always old. I did it again and I noticed that the driver is not updated at all.

So I went to the ATI site, and there I discovered that the latest drivers for my card there but they will not work with Toshiba. Weird is, I tried anyway, they don't work.
So I went to Toshiba site and start downloading AMD, each of them display drivers. None of them worked: errors or 'installation complete', but nothing works. I tried other sites with drivers for my model. Resut: Nope, once again.

Finally, I found the most up-to-date drivers for my Radeon, from Toshiba Web site... from 2011. Is this some kind of joke? Why can't I have the drivers updated just because it is Toshiba? Why Toshiba is not updated their drivers, when the software they gave me with the laptop gives me alerts that my drivers are outdated.

    Hello

    > Why Toshiba is not updated their drivers, when the software they gave me with the laptop gives me alerts that my drivers are outdated.

Many different laptop models were equipped with the same GPU. That's why you should also search for drivers of graphics cards that have been released for the new laptop models equipped with the same graphic card.

    > Yes, so I went to the ATI site, and there I discovered that the latest drivers for my card there but they will not work with Toshiba. Weird is, I tried anyway, they don't work.

I read in various forums on graphics cards drivers and update issues.
It seems that Toshiba provides special and changed graphics cards drivers that have been specially designed for mobile use. These drivers support a kind of protection which is important since s graphic portable units are equipped with large modules of cooling the overheating.

However, there is a solution to install the page ATI original drivers, but the use of these drivers is at your own risk. You need to download the driver package that contains the dll and ini files.

Then you should be able to update the driver through Device Manager by using the Advanced installation procedure which allows to point to the folder that contains the mentioned dll and ini files.

  • Satellite L350D - update ATI display drivers hangs

I tried to update my drivers to view the ATI/AMD Catalyst site because I'm trying to get better performance with 3D games and others. Toshiba USA website does not update display driver at the time for ATI radeon 3100 (on LAPTOP) because the product is discontinued. (I got it less then a year to the Canada..) So I went to the AMD and tried to install Catalyst 10.2 version.
At the time I was running ATI Catalyst Control Center, but with a version of the microsoft 6.4.1 driver or such on Vista 64 - Edition home premium

I've lost hours trying to follow the directions to the letter, but I got a total computer failure. I had to use the restore point to fix. I started with the 7.15.0010.0096 driver version, and after the restoration automatic, now I have the 8.479.1.4000 version and it shows microsoft in the name of the driver... probably because the update was fixed to look in one place only... so always tell my drivers are UP to DATE, when I tried to update a driver on my pc. In any case, the result is that I have no. MORE Catalyst center and I'm still using an old driver.

I just see ATI Catalyst last bundle - with display drivers 11.2 version? But it says that I should check for Toshiba laptops, with support OEM...

My question is: can I install the new center of ATI Catalyst + drivers on my Satellite L350D - Vista 64 - 3Gz - a lot of spare disk space with AMD Athlon X 2 dual-core QL-60?

Or will kill my computer again?
The view control center was really nice to have!

Please send me e-mail if you have the answer,
    [email protected]

    Thank you
    P.

    Hi mate

Usually, you use the page to Toshiba graphics cards drivers.
These drivers support a GPU overheating protection, and this is the main reason why you should use this driver.

I read here in the forum that the drivers of ATI page don t support this overheating protection and so the use of these drivers is at your own risk
The installation of these drivers is usually possible only in Device Manager.
This means that if you want to install the update, then you must go to the Device Manager and have to force windows choose driver graphics dll and inf files.

Simply said; Save the package of drivers on the HARD drive. Then go to Device Manager, choose graphics card, click Update, and then click Advanced installation, and then point to the driver files and then force windows to accept this

  • Satellite P300-21F - display drivers error in the Windows XP support site!

    Hello from Greece!

Satellite P300-21st model PSPCCE, I bought 3 days ago and I am still installing display drivers for the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 graphics card.

The drivers that are provided on the official website of support are wrong, because they are for the Mobility Radeon HD 34xx/36xx series, not the 46xx series.
Installing drivers is impossible and please give me a solution for this problem.

I have already informed the local partner of TOSHIBA named IDEAL.

    Kind regards.

The driver for Win XP is NOT bad!
The fact is that the same notebook was equipped with 3 different graphics chips!

The series of laptop Satellite P300 PSPCCE uses graphics chips: Radeon HD 34xx/36xx/46xx series

The driver on the page is designed and compatible only with Mobility Radeon HD 34xx/36xx chip. It does not support the 46xx series.

Unfortunately, it seems that XP driver for your graphics card is not yet out.

Maybe you should check some 3rd party Web page for a compatible XP driver for Mobility Radeon HD 46xx

  • M70-164 ATI display drivers error

    Hello

When you play call of Duty 2, there is a part of the game when the Exchange level, my screen becomes blue and the computer restarts.

After the reboot, windows has to report an error that says that the problem was in the ATI display driver.

I send the error display in ATI explaining the situation and they told me to download the latest driver from Toshiba. The driver downloaded from the toshiba support site is the same that I have... solutions?

Thank you and sorry for the bad English! ;)

Try to update the BIOS as well. If that's not the thing I would recommend taking the computer to your most loved authorized Service Provider (ASP) for a maintenance check. Could be that the motherboard does not work correctly.

  • Update the display drivers for Qosmio G30

I have a Qosmio G30-240, it will not play a game. I bought halo 2, but says I have to update my drivers, but there is no update I received new drivers of Toshiba but still the same problem. Display driver is NVIDIA g force 760 GB. Any ideas please?

    Hello

As you know, the game can be played to laptop and desktop PC. Update driver for desktop PC is not so problematic and can be done more often than on laptops. Never force drivers of graphics cards to run with the best performance. For laptops, it can be problematic because greater performance is more heat inside the laptop. because of this laptop manufacturers can't offer display so drivers often but you can visit some u = independent pages like http://www.laptopvideotogo.com/

    You might find something there.

  • Update the display drivers for the game half-life 2

    Hey,.

the other day I tried to update my drivers for my gfx card on the Toshiba site (given that the ATI Web site download does not support Toshiba laptops) if I could play half-life 2. Whenever I play Half Life 2, my phone freezes within minutes. This happens only when I play Half Life 2, I can play games such as Far Cry and Medieval 2 Total War perfectly.

I have a Satellite A-100 237 with an ATI Mobility Radeon X 1600 256 MB. After that I finished installing the new drivers and restarted my laptop charged again but the contrast of the screen looked all messed up and the resolution is extremely low. So I restarted the computer laptop again and this time she refused to load Windows normally, just before he would charge up to the screen where I enter my password, a blue flash screen and the system should restart again.

I could start my system through Mode only without failure. I tried to do a system restore, but that did not work. In the end, I used the recovery CD and had to erase everything from my laptop. At the moment I am afraid to try again because I need my laptop for the University.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and solved?
Please any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you.

I can only say that graphics cards for laptops are not the same thing as same GPUS for desktop PC. From my own experience, many games have problems with different graphics drivers for laptops.
I m also a player, but I would not buy laptops if I want to play the most recent, tough performance. Ok. I have a laptop for my mobility of its use and en office to play the game.

@macram: you can try the drivers omega but don t know if it helps.
Unfortunately, but I don t see any other possibility.

  • G510 - update video card drivers

Hi, I have a Lenovo G510 with intel hd 4000 and radeon HD8750. I downloaded all the drivers for lenovo Download Center. When I tried to install the graphics card first, I first installed intel and after that, Radeon. When I restart my machine, I had a black screen. After the system restore, I tried to install in a different sequence. First, I installed AMD and after Intel. Yes, it works at all, switching graphics too. Now, I want to update my videocard to 14.4 of catalyst driver. Can I do it? Or will I get a black screen after installing amd after intel? Is it safe? Sorry for my bad English I hope that you will understand me )

    Hi Fieras,.

If this is the problem, please uninstall the Intel driver as well from the laptop and then update the AMD and Intel graphics driver again as this is the only option available to check this problem.

    Hope to hear back soon

  • Constantly reloading the video/display drivers

My old Fujitsu Siemens computer running XP (Home) sometimes 'forgets' that my GeForce 6200LE card is installed. "New hardware found" retains detect it and I have to reload the drivers, even if I have done several times (he seems to forget them as well. Strangely, this doesn't happens whenever I start, just most of the time. It's a pain. Any suggestions?

    Thank you very much

    Ian

I think that your video hardware is on the output path, if it is onboard video and you have a desktop pc, then you could buy a video card to work around the problem, you may need to change a bios setting - first PCI and you must make sure that the pci slot is dust free. If you already have a video card, it may be necessary to clean and put it back - if she has a fan make sure it is not clogged by dust and have a good look at the contacts in the fire to make sure they are clean. The video card has ram on board and is sensative static so a bracelet is a good idea or you can hold the chassis case a static load leveling. Make sure you remove the power cable before you begin.

    Hello

    1. do you remember any change before the question?
    2. What if the problem occurs on a particular Web site?

Follow the steps below and see if they help.

    Step 1:

I suggest you to disable the auto restart in case of system error and try to take note of the error message and reply with the exact error message. Once we have the exact error message that we will be in a better position to determine the exact nature of the problem and fix it.

Follow the steps below to disable automatic restart on system failure:

    a. Click Start.
    b. type system in the search box after clicking on start. Choose system from the list of results.
Note: If you see the classic view of the Control Panel, you will not see this link. Just double-click on the system icon and go to step d.
    c. click on the system link.
    d. in the left pane, click Advanced system settings.
    e. Locate the startup and recovery area and click on the settings button.
    f. in the startup and recovery window, locate and uncheck the box next to automatically restart.
    g. click OK in the startup and recovery window.
    h. click OK in the System Properties window.

You can now close the system window.

Subsequently, when the computer is lorsque l' ordinateur s' arrete stop the computer restarts automatically and you will receive the error message, make a note of it and post back.

You can also open the event viewer and check if there are other significant error messages/codes. See the link below for more details:

What are the information contained in the logs of the event (Event Viewer)?
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-information-appears-in-event-logs-Event-Viewer

    Step 2:

If you don't have to update your display drivers yet, I suggest you Update your display drivers and check if the crash stops.
    Step 3:
I suggest you put your computer in a clean boot State, and check if the problem persists. I suspect that there could be involvement of third-party software.
Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual.
