  Recently upgraded my Mac mini to El Capitan. Before the upgrade (from Mountain Lion), I got Thunderbird mail application works perfectly access my GMail account and my Hotmail account. Now, I have no problem with Hotmail and Gmail keeps asking for the password to connect to the gmail imap server.   I just upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan (10.11.2) on my MacBook Pro 15 in late 2008, and everything seems to work fine (so far) with this exception.

  When I try to reply to a message, a message window opens with nothing entered.  No to the:, no subject:, nothing in the body of the email from the original.  Just empty in all areas.  When I try to close the window with the red button, it does nothing, so now I have a useless window I can't close.  I can fill in the To and subject to the fields, but when I try to tab or the mouse in the body of the email, the cursor disappears.

  My only way to dispel this is so close to what point mail accidents.  I have attached the crash debugging information below.

  Does anyone know why it would act this way?  I looked at the symptoms and have rebuilt my Inbox, but continues to be the same thing.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.  Clearly, I can't be the only one to experience this.

  My Canon MX310 connects well with El Capitan and I can print a test page. However, all programs (mail, QuickWord, preview) turns off when I try to print. I took the printer off and reloaded. Restarted several times. Downloaded all updates for all programs that are out there and not always no chance. Any ideas?

  Please launch the Console application in one of the following ways:

  As more than first level help desk people, they are idiots! They are lucky to know enough to pick up the phone if it makes a noise.

  If their network or range of IP addresses is blacklisted only they can fix.
  I would ask to have this comeback for someone who knows something.

The computer has a unique key of 4 GB, and I was wondering if maybe that could be the reason, that it should simply have more RAM and two identical sticks together?

  Downloaded Al Capitan for my MacBook Pro, it indicates that the computer will restart at the end, but the Apple logo and progress bar, however, there has been no progress on this bar indicating a restart, how can this be overcome, have now tried several times, each time with the same result.
