EliteBook 840 and GNSS HP sensor

I tried for days to get a solution by satellite, using the store GPS satellites, without a bit of luck.

Sensor GNSS HP and Windows location Services are activated.

The news I just, sometimes, are reading of Altitude, but not natural satellite and no solution.

I tried to put my phone and Tablet next to 840 picks it up and the two satellites and get a quick enough solution. So I know I have gps covering.

AS we know the interface GPS has changed since Win7/XP Win8. WIN8 use an API and not the COM ports.

Has anyone got got a reading, lock / difficulty, HP's GNSS sensor?

@Toffy

I have the latest drivers and bios 1.06.

I downloaded MS sensor Diagnostic tool and I ran in parallel with all the associated GPS apps from MS Store apps do not read correct data in the GNSS-sensor(whitch is a Huawei chip btw). Applications is showing incorrect altitude and missing data.

The diagnosis of Sensort tool shows me as satellites of got16 II in view and 7 satellites used in fix.

These applications show latitude and longitude position, but this info is not the GNSS sensor. According to data of the triangulation of location of Windows Service.

So my conlution is that the GPS apps I have MS Store does a bad job, reading information from the GNSS sensor.

Joint photo shows info of the sensor under test Diagnostic tool.

HP should add a small application with the info on the satellites in view and satellites used in fix, so we don't have to trust these poorly developed apps.
