    Hello.

    I faced the following problem:

Liien connected 2 monitors EliteDisplay S230tm 400g 2 hp with Win8x64 installed in mode station dual monitor - usb cable for two touchscreens is also connected. When I press on the touschcreen of the first monitor (primary meen) to the same touch is duplicated on the second. When I press on the touschcreen of the second monitor that nothing happens at all. So I can't use screens touch separatally, I meen place different applications on both screens and operate with them by touch screen.

I'm not sure? Maybe its possible to solve the problem of cgahanging all win8 settings or install HP software?

Problem was sold after a few manipulations with the settings of operating system with USB ports:

1 calibration sensor control panel-> Tablet

2 reconnect the USB cable to a different USB port - in my case of USB2.0 to USB3.0 on hp400g2

  • EliteDisplay S230tm: Touch EliteDisplay S230tm w / 10 Windows

I have problems with activation correctly touch on my new S230tm operates on 64-bit Windows 10.

When the computer is restarted, it takes a while until the key is turned on - random - sometimes it is sometimes hours, minutes, or even a day. But once the contact starts to work, it works flawlesly day a week... until the computer is restarted again. After that, it's the same wait-and-test procedure.

Windows recognizes as a full touchscreen monitor screen and monitor displays properly in the device (including the HID device to the touch monitor) Manager.

I've updated the driver to the most recent available.

Tried on two separate machines (two 10 64-bit windows) - same question.

My phone is 1 month old. A few days ago part of the touchscreen is unresponsive to touch, I restart windows several times, has not worked! I really disappointed, but all of a sudden one day, it works normally. But it's not stable, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

I did the system that did not restore - worked

Update driver graphic and all available through HP support assistant - did not worked

    Not much!

I think that it's a firmware problem, but I'm not sure and I don't know how to fix the screen touch firmware. Someone help me, please!

    Hi Thiet,

I re-charged factory BIOS settings to the default configuration. That should help to set the resolution. In addition, make sure that you are ready to view recommended settings under the Advanced display settings. The tension is a series on the laptop. Just make sure that the AC adapter, it is at your fingertips for your country.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP 2311 x monitor won't sleep

I have my system my computer Setup will put my monitor to sleep after 10 minutes if the computer is idle.  The problem is that my monitor will not fall asleep.  It shows the system status menu, scan for input device, said so he'll sleep, power light goes Orange and a few seconds later he wakes. Then start the whole process again and again.  If I put the system to sleep monitor goes to sleep (didn't at first when I got until I updated the driver of HP).  I connected it to the DVI plug.

It seems that I found my own solution and I'm posting so it can help others.  Although my computer is about 3 1/5 years it has a DVI and VGA connections for the monitor.  The HP2311x monitor has DVI, VGA and HDMI connections.  I got the screen hooked up using the DVI connection.

I changed and hooked it up to the VGA connection.  Set the computer up so the monitor going to sleep in a minute and waited.  Monitor went to sleep and not wake up until I moved the mouse.  Tested several times more and no problem.  So apparently there's something with connections DVI monitor won't sleep when you use this connection.

  • FT200HQL touchscreen monitor works do not w / HP Pavilion dv7-5000

After searching for and buying touch screen FT200HQL, it does work with my HP Pavilion laptop dv7-5000, Windows 7, 64-bit.  I have the USB cable is connected (even if it says that it is optional in user's Guide - not an option if you want the touchscreen to work).  I tried it with an Acer, Gateway and an another HP Pavilion laptop (all Win 7), & it works perfectly with them, but not w / mine.  All my drivers are up to date.  (Although there is not driver site Acer for the FT200HQL for Win 7 & I don't think that what they have listed as a driver for Win 8 is a pilot).  A Microsoft Search for a driver for the FT200HQL shows one, but he said that mine is up to date.  Help, please!  I really like the monitor & don't want to send again, but I bought it mainly for the touch screen feature.

This is posted on the Microsoft & HP forums also.  A support engineer, Amit K. Verma, w / Microsoft responded w / several suggestions & what has worked has been updated the graphics card.  My touch screen works now!  Woohoo!  Amit ROCKS!

  • Is it possible to set up a secondary monitor using a touch screen of Envy 15 t-j000 with Windows 8

When I bought my laptop, I was told that I could use a secondary monitor to display several documents, spreadsheets, Web sites, etc.  I was also told that there is a connection on the laptop, but it was not.

Welcome to the HP, Phoenix forum.

According to the Guide of Maintenance of system for the Envy 15, you might have a HDMI port on the left side of the laptop.

HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC and HP ENVY TouchSmart PC - Maintenance and Service Guide 15 laptop

Page 15 of the Service Guide:

You must also have at least one or two ports high-speed USB 3.0 on each side of the laptop.  Note that if your laptop supports it, as the USB 3.0 #4 is also a USB 3.0 port - an interesting option of load.

One of these port types can be used to connect an external monitor compatible HDMI.

If you must use USB 3.0 ports because your computer does not come with a HDMI connection port, then you must buy a USB 3.0 to HDMI .  NOTE: The example shown in the link is just an option - many brands of these converters exist. You should consider buying any brand that you like.  Don't forget to buy a converter that responds to the requirements of resolution of your monitor - buy for the quality and features.

  • I use Windows XP Dell computer - I downloaded some drivers and now my monitor won't work, but thesystem is running in the background. How can I get my monitor appears again?

    Hello

I recently downloaded some drivers using the software "Drivermax" and in doing so, I restarted my computer Dell Windows XP, whom he treated and Startup logo XP deleted monitor on me but the system is still running. There no display no matter what he went completely empty on me. I tried restarting several times more and it begins as bright until properly on newspaper and he then he goes empty dark again on me. I tried the BIOS setting, but nothing happens... I believe that I have installed the drivers screwed something... I well surly need help here.

    Thank you
    Dave

I gave it try but without success. No idea how to install the driver in safe mode

You could use the system restore and roll back to a point just before that you have installed the drivers.

A little advice about these utilities "update Driver", ditch just them!  Basically, they cause more harm than good, and some of them are dangerous simple!  You don't need those utilities and nine times out of ten people update their drivers for no other reason that they think that the new drivers are better than work perfectly those they already have.

  • My monitor won't wake up

I have a HP 6560 b with Windows 7.  Only in the last days, this problem.  When the monitor goes to sleep, I can't wake him up.  I can hear the computer wake up - the fan starts - but the screen remains dark.  I have to reboot to get to the back of the screen.

    Any help is most appreciated.

    Hello jorlofsky.

Have you noticed that the internal LCD screen waking up rather than the external monitor?

If the problem arose only in the last days you can also try to perform a Microsoft System Restore.  The steps are as follows.

    1. Restart your computer and press F11, until the recovery of load Manager.
    2. Select "Microsoft System Restore" under Advanced Options.
    3. Select a point before when the problem started.
    4. Check if the problem persists.

This should not affect the personal files other than those that are stored on your desktop.  So be sure to back up all the files on your desktop before performing these steps.

Let me know the result.  Have a great day.

  • New U2413 monitor won't allow my Mac Pro computer to sleep

My new U2413 monitor works fine. However, when I try to turn my Mac Pro (model 1.1, with OS 107.5) computer to sleep monitor goes to 'power save' mode that triggers the computer to wake up, the monitor return to power save mode, the back of the computer to sleep and so on. If I change the preferences of the computer to the monitor and the computer to sleep after 10 minutes, the monitor going to sleep, but the computer does not work. Any ideas? Is it possible to turn off the monitor power saving mode?

I tried your suggestion to use an external USB key to monitor the connection. It works!  The computer and the monitor can now go to sleep at the same time. The only downside is that the auxiliary USB ports on the monitor is no longer connected to the computer. So, now I need a hub USB powered, connected to the computer, since I have more USB devices (card reader, USB stick or two, two scanners and two printers) that the USB ports on the computer.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

  • Two monitors L2206tm - Windows 7 - can all both touchscreen make?

I didn't realize the L2206tm is a commercial monitor and I posted about it in the forum of home monitor products, then I copy the post here. I hope you guys can help me.

I have a custom desktop computer and I recently got two HP L2206tm monitors because they were on sale. My computer running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I have two monitors connected USB ports on the desktop, but if I touch one of the screen of one of them, the click or scroll or any action that happens on the other monitor. Is it possible, and if so, what is the easiest way to set up two monitors to use the touch screen feature? Is there a software to help make this process easier?

AFAIK, you can't touch on two screens in the calibration mode. In Clone mode, it works; but it's probably not what you're looking for.

    You can try the below:

Use the 'Tablet PC Settings' in the ' Control Panel/hardware.  Under 'Display Options', select a touch screen, hit calibrate, move the text to the selected touch screen while pressing on enter (incase you have extra monitors) then MOVE your mouse to this screen and click on the text.   Then calibrate the monitor and following the instructions in the calibration.  Once the first monitor is installed, follow these instructions again for each additional touch monitor.

  • Pro 11 monitor and external of the touchscreen of the place?

DOE instead of 11 Pro sessions (running an i3 or i5 processor) support the features of the touch screen button, such as the touchscreen monitor Dell 22?

Someone here has tried a Dell P2314T monitor (touch) and managed to do work OK, so I guess others touch screens should work if you have a USB interface to the tablet to save the key (and native Windows drivers or 8.1 support).
