  Always recommended to reset the airport back to settings by default and then set up again whenever you have a new modem or change your Internet Service provider.

  Turn off the new modem for at least 30 minutes. More is better.

  Perform a hard reset on the AirPort Extreme, then it turned off.

  Make sure that the Ethernet cable connects the modem to the "O" on the AirPort Extreme WAN port

  After the power of the modem 30 minutes down, turn on the modem and let it run for at least 5 minutes by itself.

  Then, turn on the airport and let it run a few minutes

  Set up AirPort Extreme again

  Important note... There are many reports of problems with the modem Arris SB and airports. Both are great products, but they do seem to work perfectly together for some users.

  For example, in my case, I have 3 PC. Two of them the Simulator installed and worked well, the third, no matter what I do I can't get the Simulator to go beyond the start screen.

  I even took a suspended version of the Simulator everywhere for my 3rd machine, and it has run for a little while so locked up when I tried to activate the mode of development. However, VMWare works perfectly for other sims installed on this machine (but with VMTools installed in the virtual machine), then it is not a VMWare question by itself.

  Personally, I think that unfortunately for certain combinations of hardware/OS simulator simply does not work.

  FWIW my 3rd machine is underpowered with only 2 GB of ram, an Intel ATOM (z520) processor and a GMA 500 GPU which are pushed along Windows 7.

  I installed a new virtual machine to the 0.9.4 Simulator and we found that it does not load (just sitting on the blackberry Playbook loading animation)

  Previous simulators worked properly.

  I tried the CPU both 1 and 2

  RAM is set to 1 GB

  Graphics acceleration is on.

  Computer: Core I7, 4 GB Ram, Windows 7 Pro 64, VMWare Player 3.1.3

  I just launched the 0.9.3 Simulator and it works properly.

  Anyone else having these problems? I searched this forum and have not found anything this either so forgive me if this has been posted and there is an accepted solution.
