• Simulation does not stop in the Loop Simulation & control

  I don't understand your suggestion. I've set up a node of your comments, but this does not solve the problem.

  But I found another solution to the problem. I build the .vi completely new and used the arithmetic of the design group Signal and control Simulation.   So: right-click on one of the diodes, select 'Properties' - 'Value' tab - press "Change model" button - box 'Use default' for 'IS' - press "Change all 4 elements" - press "OK".

  For example, in my case, I have 3 PC. Two of them the Simulator installed and worked well, the third, no matter what I do I can't get the Simulator to go beyond the start screen.

  I even took a suspended version of the Simulator everywhere for my 3rd machine, and it has run for a little while so locked up when I tried to activate the mode of development. However, VMWare works perfectly for other sims installed on this machine (but with VMTools installed in the virtual machine), then it is not a VMWare question by itself.

  Personally, I think that unfortunately for certain combinations of hardware/OS simulator simply does not work.

  FWIW my 3rd machine is underpowered with only 2 GB of ram, an Intel ATOM (z520) processor and a GMA 500 GPU which are pushed along Windows 7.

  Steps to recreate:

  1. start multisim.

  2. open a very basic circuit that includes a battery 10V with the ground, a lamp, a voltmeter between the lamp and an ammeter in series.

  3. use 'switch' at the top right of the appliation multisim window to run the simulation.

  4 lamp shows a 'enlightenment' and voltmeter indicates 10V and ammeter indicates .1a circuit.

  5. use the switch to stop the simulation.

  6. no change in the circuit or lighting of the lamp measures.

  7. same results if the simulation starts the arrow and the red square are used to start and stop.

  If I close it and reopen it circuit, the circuit begins in the OFF state, but will not OFF If when you select stop simulation.

  This is the case with several circuits, those provided by the College and the other that I created based on the same design.

  Multisim restarting has no effect to correct this observation.

  It doesn't seem normal that when the simulation running, values or apparent lamp lighting does not change.  The simulation doesn't have to go back to the start state (OFF) when I stop the simulation?

  Hi zanzarista,

  Multisim retains the values for everything in the circuit when the simulation is stopped. Which means that you are able to view the values on your instruments (such as multimeters) even after the termination of the simulation. When you start a simulation once again, starts all over again and that's why you see a 0 momentarily.

  It is the way in which the software is intended to work.

  I have problems in the execution of my application on the Simulator. So wheh I started the application and compiled everything has worked, the application could be launched on the Simulator. Today, I loaded the project compiled without errors and tried to run the application on the Simulator. I got the error the executable, I try to run isn't for the Simulator. So I cleaned my project, rebuild and try again. Now, I get the error that the file does not exist. The only solution for me is to create a new project, copy the source to go for in this project and build. So I can run on the Simulator, but this isn't the solution. Is that what someone else has experienced this problem or does someone have a solution for this?

  Looks like your project file become corrupted, you could try a clean wipe of the sdk/ndk parameters and workspace you and reinstall.

• Simulator does not close in Windows 7 64 bit

  When I run a simulator in Windows 7 64 bit I can't close without go into the Task Manager and kill the process. When I close the Simulator with the X key, just of freezes and does not respond. I tried the instructions on these forums for setting up the eclipse of Java plug-in on Windows 7 64 bit, but it did not remedy the problem.

  My solution is now a batch file to kill the process with a single click.

  Is there a way to fix this Simulator without killing the process?

  It is a known issue and the only other way is to press 'Disconnect' in the Debug perspective, but actually, he did the same thing as closing the process (it could be a bit more secure, not sure).

  I think that your PC is too slow for Simulator. Must virtualiztion of material (or at least graphics acceleration) and up to 2 GB of RAM. Without this Simulator is unusable.

• Audio capture on Simulator does not

  I am writing an application that captures the sounds.  He has used the technique described in the javadoc for RecordControl.  My code works fine when it is installed on my Curve 8330.  But when run on the Simulator, it seems to work, but no data is never written to the record output stream (suggests that the Simulator is not my microphone audio routing).

  I'm under BlackBerry JDE plug-in for Eclipse and the BlackBerry JDE v4.5 component Pack.  I tried all the profiles profiles 8300 Simulator and no capture any sound.  I rechecked my microphone is not muted, and other applications to record on my WinXP box actually capture sound.

  Is this something that should work in the Simulator?  I have to configure something to give the access the audio in Windows JVM Simulator?

  I think I have solved my problem.  Last night, I restarted eclipse and everything started working as expected.

  Honestly, I don't know why this correction of the problem but have a hint.  I started eclipse earlier in the data via a Remote Desktop Session.  I don't know the details of how the JVM determines with the source sound/sinks are available.  But I imagine that the process of the eclipse didn't see any sound source because I was connected via RDP.  And it took a reboot once directly connected so he can see all IO ports.
