  • Search for Email blackBerry Q10

How can I find email sent or received from a specific person only. When I enter a name in the search, she returns each email sent by anyone who the name is copied to. I have to want to email slecifically to or from the name of the search.

I think I see what you are wanting. You want to see only messages sent from you to a specific contact?

You need the search of your sent mail folder. If you tap the arrow down in the blue bar at the top of the hub and select the plus sign next to the account you want to find. Then select the sent items folder. Now make the search for the name of the contact in the field.

  • BlackBerry Q10 Q10 email removal server

My emails on my Blackberry Q10 when I delete them on my phone it also removes them off the server. There is no option to stop this. Causing me real problems. It of OK on the old software, but not on the 273 software.

It is a question about the BlackBerry10 OS since the release in January and has not yet been set.

It may be, but BlackBerry has not commented on or advised.

In the meantime, if you're on a Courier IMAP server, you can choose to FILE these messages (you wanted deleted from the device but registered on your server). Once filed, these messages will be visible on your Q10 (you may need to open your Hub > settings > display and "hide filed messages).

  • BlackBerry software Z10 Q10 device switch question

Attempt to use Blackberry link to a switch of the device to a Z10 with Q10.

    See the error message:

    http://i.imgur.com/PBScXOe.PNG

    Legend of the error:

    No data is transferred

No data is transferred for the following reasons:

-The version of the OS on your new device is older than the version of the OS on the device, that you spend. Select a different device or cancel the transfer

    Versions of the software:

Q10 - not locked to Bell Mobility - 10.1.0.238 - no software update available

Z10 - not locked to Bell Mobility - 10.1.0.273 - no software update available

Don't link Version - 1.1.0.37 - no software update available

Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the BONES of BB10. You cannot restore a backup of a newer version of OS to an earlier version. You can restore a backup from an earlier version to a version identical or newer only.

You need the Q10 to be on a more recent version. Your only option is to install a "leaked OS ' on the Q10 in order to be able to restore your backup data or transfer.

Here is a link to the latest OS for the Q10. Everything you do is download the file, it will be a .rar file, so you will need a tool for decompression like 7zip to unzip the .exe file. Then connect the Q10 and run the .exe file and it will update the operating system. Need you more time to download the different file in order to install it, too. It takes about 5 minutes to load the new operating system.

  • BlackBerry® Q10 Q10 email does not

I got my Blackberry Q10 for a few months and was in love with it... until recently when I started having issues by e-mail.  Currently, I'm completely unable to send mail from my POP3 e-mail address business - which completely defeats the purpose of having a smartphone.   I updated the software, rebooted or shut down cellular and wifi... nothing seems to work.

I receive emails on my smartphone and send using GMAIL, but I can't send through my POP3 server.   My email works fine on my desktop.  What is particularly annoying, is that it does not give an error message does not seem to do anything.  NO checkmark, just an envelope which makes it look like a sent email received.

Anyone else having this problem?  Any resolution?  Please, I want to continue to support BB but I need help.

    Welcome to the forums,

Your SMTP has a password as on an update, it is common for passwords does not restore?

  • BlackBerry® Q10 masking email

    Hello

I upgraded to BB10 of BB9900 and I can't find a way to hide my email. I use yahoo for sending small businesses & reading emails on my BB10 I mask with my office email address.

Previously, using my BB9900 and other models blackberry before it, there is a way to hide the answer mail that is to:

BB. Model: Blackberry Q10 model #: SQN100-3 software version: 10.2.1.2101 I hope you can help me.

BTW, when viber will be available in the BBQ10? Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

The "masking" you wonder is something that has been asked in other threads before, but is not currently available. If it will be or will never exist is not something here, we can know.

    spgaon wrote:

When / if they release... but only they can know. Apps are not "pulled" by BB... rather, they are "pushed" by the developer, which controls the entire process.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Q10 10.3.2 Z10 password ID issues

Hi, I need help with the Blackberry ID related issues. I recently got a Blackberry from my brother who went to the army where it is limited to use only a device equipped photo of Q10 Q10. Before moving to me, it has disabled Blackberry Protect and delete his personal data and I created my new Blackberry ID associated with my email of the company. However, as has happened the weekend, I couldn't "confirm" my email of the company (Blackberry ID) within 72 hours, and I refreshed the email confirmation, but for some reason, the BlackBerry ID password is incorrect and I can't 'confirm' the new password. Now when I click on BlackBerry ID of parameters, it is said; BlackBerry locked ID
BlackBerry ID password was entered several times incorrently. For security, your account has been locked. If you need create a new password, press Reset. When I clicked "Reset", there was a Question of recovery of the password when I recognize established when I created my BlackBerry ID. Because I can't recognize such a Question of safety, I can't go forward. Can you please what is happening or what I did wrong?

    Here is the information on BlackBerry ID of 'settings ';
BlackBerry ID username: my email company (not my brother ID more)
First & last & pseudonymous: my good names (not my brother more)
    Status of Confirmation e-mail: "unconfirmed".

    And here's what I did after I got on the phone;
    1. I have set up my new BlackBerry ID at the stage of initial configuration without a SIM card inside.
    2. I have never 'confirm' email (BlackBerry ID) within 72 hours. And since then, I can't email confirmation.
    3. I use Q10 with connections wifi at home & work.
    4. I finally incerted my SIM card, but I can't access the BlackBerry World.
    5. I took out my SIM card.
    6. Although I could never "confirming" State ID of BlackBerry, BlackBerry Protect is ON (enable) and I can't turn it off (keeps prompting the BlackBerry ID password associated with my email of the company and it is incorrect)
    7. I do not recognize the "recovery password (security) issue".

I read on internet that with BlackBerry Protect 10.3.2 feature is ENABLED, data wiping is useless without the BlackBerry ID password and it always will make the phone unusable. So I'm stuck...
At this moment, what I can do? And who instituted the "BlackBerry Password Recovery/Security Question in the first place?" I had to 'Confirm' the status of e-mail before using the phone? Can I go ahead and wipe my Q10 without knowing the 'BlackBerry ID password' or 'The password recovery Question?' I would be able to implement the new BlackBerry ID and the new password with my email of the company again? I'm just afraid that I'll do my Q10 permanently out of use. And what is locked BlackBerry ID (account)?

Sorry for writing such a long message, but I just don't know what to do now...

    Hi all

    Last updated:
Successfully, I received the Email 'confirm' to my company e-mail and updated the device information by resetting my BlackBerry ID password. I'm having no problem with BlackBerry Protect 10.3.2 / BlackBerry ID password.

    Kind regards
    Memejo

  • BlackBerry Q10 sent items that appear in the Inbox of Blackberry

I have a POP email setup on my Blackberry Q10.  Whenever I have email, it appears in my Inbox (with a check mark).  And YES, I assigned "Display Messages" to Off.  I even reset completely the Q10 without restoring from a backup, and added the e-mail account with the same question.

It's an interesting test, I added a Gmail account and sent messages do not appear in my Inbox.

How can I fix it?  What other setting besides that Show sent Messages can affect this.  I have no idea how to proceed from here.

So, I just do a restore of my backup (the backup I took before I reset my unit because of this problem) and now all of a sudden the sent messages are being hidden.  If it works now, but there is some sort of bug here.

  • BlackBerry Q10 from sent items e-mail settings

I know that the option "delete only on handheld" does not yet exist on BB10, which is a major pain.  I learned to live with this until today.  I have two email accounts; @shaw.ca and @live.ca.  When I send an email from my PC it also appears on my phone as a sent item.  In the interest of the housekeeping I delete sent items off my phone thinking that they will always be in my items on my PC.  I consider that to my account @live.ca only, not Shaw for a reason, my folder on my PC has no items since I got my Q10, they've all gone which is a huge problem for me.  Here's my question.  Is there any kind of implement changes that can make my items on my PC are not displayed on my phone?  I never used to see them on my torch, only the Envoy that I sent from my phone.

Any really smart people out there who know a way to recover deleted items sent in Windows Live mail?  I poured on everything him net and can not find anything but it can't hurt to ask.

    Thank you all!

    Hey ddmdevin,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

Thanks for the question. In the new operating system BlackBerry 10, email will now via synchronization. Previous BlackBerry devices carried out a reconciliation. This means that, with synchronization, the Inbox on your BlackBerry Q10 will reflect your Inbox on your webmail.

The ability to hide items sent in the Q10 of BlackBerry is available, however it allows to hide all items sent to all accounts in the hub.

To hide items sent so they are not displayed in the Inbox of the Q10 (to avoid to remove permanently):

The Hub-> menu-> settings (3 vertical points)-> display and Actions-> see the elements (toggle OFF) sent.

Let us know how make you out!

    See you soon,.

  • BlackBerry Q10 ActiveSync does not synchronize my Contacts after changing to another Exchange Server

I changed to another supplier of services of Exchange and now the problems with my Contacts on the Blackberry Q10. After the configuration of the new Exchange ActiveSync account, I observe the folliwng:

    1. New contacts created in Outlook / Exchange Server will not synchronize to the Q10.
    2. New contacts created on the Blackberry are synchronized backed the Exchange Server / Outlook Client.
    3. BlackBerry-Contacts are visible, but won't open (like "zombies").
    4. BlackBerry Contacts from other sources (Facebook, WhatsApp) are no longer bound together, in other words, it seems that the person has multiple contacts entries.
    5. Sending / receiving mails and work on the Blackberry calendar entries.

I fixed it myself. Now, the Contacts are all back in, deduplicated and healthy. That's what I did, step by step, in settings > accounts:
1 turn off Sync contact on the Exchange ActiveSync account
    2 delete the Facebook account
3 remove account Skype and gmail
    4. run "Delete local Contacts"
    5. in Contacts, check the number of Contacts: contact no.
    Then in settings > accounts:
    6. turn on synchronization of Contact for an Exchange account
    7. This brought all Exchange contacts
    8. Add Facebook, Skype and a gmail accounts.

I found this site very useful understand the technical differences between the models:

Of course, you will need to supplement that with an understanding of the technical nature of the carrier network on which you want to operate the unit... but it's a discussion, you'd be better off to have with carriers, since it is their networks.

    himeshshah wrote:

    Why?

Hmmm... I'm not quite sure how to answer this question. There are several models simply because there is too much radio frequency technologies in the world to allow the manufacture of a device that can really work on all networks in the world... should be physically so large, that nobody would buy it. Instead, all mobile manufacturers must make several models, each with a subset of support/radio frequency technology. It's just the nature of our world of various technologies.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Q10 ID deleted with Blackberry Protect to the

    Hello

I do not own the Blackberry device, but my father and I think he did something wrong. He asked me to write to you to help you, because he can't use his device because it deleted the Blackberry account. On October 23, he bought Blackberry Q10 and on 26 October, he deleted an account (he had some problems with the reception of e-mails and he thought that it might help). He also said that the problem might be related with Blackberry Protect. What can I do to make him his device working properly?

Greetings from Poland and thanks for any help.

    MREX.

You can try. I don't think he'll do good. Why BlackBerry would be to blame when they provide a big warning that says do not remove the BBID if it is connected to a device?
