  There might be corruption in the database account in OE that prevents the receipt of messages.  Try to go to file | Identities and setup a new identity.  That will make everything fresh and then add your account and see if it works then.  If so, use file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

  Can drag you across the message in the Outbox overview to get the Red delete button? It's been a while since I had paste an email in the Outbox, so I don't remember if that's possible.

  After hitting my head against the desk to repeatedly create packages, try on different computers I have finally found a solution.

  These packages have been copied on an external drive, if I try and install from the external drive, which is a common practice, it fails.

  If I then copy this file pkg from the outside, to the computer I install, then run it, it will to and moved very well.

  I checked the reported compatibility list, and the game is listed as compatible.  Work in 64-bit or 32-bit Windows 7?  I will try to reinstall the game, if you did an upgrade from Vista to Windows 7 recently.  If it is a new installation and does not, please visit the EA's Web site to get the latest patch for the game to see if that helps address your problem.  Let me know if you've done all that and you still have questions, and we can try something else.
