  They suggested to do a factory restore, if a valid step to do.  I know this isn't the most fun thing to do, but if you restore the system failing factory (clean install of the operating system).  Then, run Windows update and update drivers.  At this point, you can install a game and test.  If the problem persists, it would look to be a possible hardware problem with the system.

  I have very recently (last week) got a new laptop Acer Aspire E 15 Touch, but I can't seem to stop or restart it.
  The first time I stopped it it close normally, but since I closed it down to do updates (110) there will be no more.

• Stream laptop HP 11: Shuts Down after 1 hour

  I have a new laptop HP Stream. We had planned to use it on the business environment and so we has astonished the 8 Windows Installer and installed our Windows 7 64-bit environment.

  Windows 8, as expected, the laptop works perfectly well and as expected. Under our business environment, the device turns off after an hour of use. In this hour, sleep works very well and all the works of hardwrae as it should. However, to activate or switch off the power unit stops. I checked the event logs and there is no indication as to what failed.

  HI, it stops exactly one hour after starting, even if there is keyboard/mouse activity?  You had to manually install the drivers in Windows 7 for all devices work very probably?  Have you used Windows 8.1 the site HP.com drivers?  I don't think that there is support for this laptop for obtaining all the required drivers for Windows 7 can be difficult. I wonder if there is some driver chipset which is perhaps missing which is originally the closure somehow.

  From what you have said, I think that your computer is just goes to a blank rather than turn off screen. This can be changed by the following text:

  Right-click on an open area of the desktop and select personalize.

  Then at the bottom right of the window, select screen saver.
