ENCAP decap counters

I am looking at the ENCAPMC and decap counters on a tunnel that is up (my side is IOS and the client side is the control point).  The tunnel is up, the traffic past and users accessing the services on my side, but I'm not put off by the counters.  The first line art show ips his counterpart poster network to network traffic and shows command the entire program, but it is followed by the network to the host/client stats and all of them show only the decaps.  Here is an example of the first two lines, I left the rest of the guests.  Is there something wrong with my config, or I just don't get the output of the HS cry ips order along its and its counters?

Thank you

This is most likely a "speciality" of the opposite checkpoint. Some IPsec implemetations could try to establish security associations phase2 separate for each IP address causing 32 remote idents on your side. It's OK with the IPsec standards and compatible with the IOS of IPsec implemettion.

It's the command of crypto-map of IOS, which did something similar: "-l' safety level by the value host association"

http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/iOS/Security/command/reference/sec_s2.html

If you're curious, you can follow the pahse2 IKE negotiation to learn more on this subject (it should be "debug crypto ipsec", that I remember.

According to me, there is nothing to worry, unless you lack of security associations.

Rgds,

MiKa

    Help, please!

    I'm trying to configure a router lab ISR1921 to build the VPN tunnel with vmware vshield edge. The configuration of the 1921 is pasted below. There is not a lot of adjustment on the side of vshield really and I'm sure both sides are adapting to phase 1 & 2.

    The question I have: the tunnel can be built correctly and I also see from show crypto ipsec release encap and decap counters. However the devices on each side can communicate. That said, I can ping from 1921 to the IP of the internal interface of the vshield with IP source specified. But just no communication part and other...

    I did debugs and only "error" messages are:

  • Satellite A100 PSAA2 - HDD counters every 30 seconds after the BIOS update

    Hello

    I recently renewed my BIOS to 2.20 to 2.30 on a Toshiba A100 PSAA2, after that my disc HARD spindows every 30 seconds when not in service, the shortenes course, that's life. I tried, clean XP SP3 and other Toshiba utils, programs like drive HARD silencer, Ubuntu, now I'm working on Win 7 RC, the problem remains, even when I select No to turn off the hard disk in the Windows settings.

    I think that Toshiba set the counters of setting in the BIOS to shorten the life of HARD drive... How downgrade the BIOS to 2.20 v., this watch WinPhlash I have an older BIOS and could not crush him.

    Can someone help me?

    Have you tried to reset the BIOS to its default settings?

  • How cascading 2 counters for 64-bit timer?

    I work with the PCI-6225 card which has several counters.  I configured CTR0 to 20 MHz.  I get the CTR0 time by calling the OR-DAQmx C function 'DAQmxReadCounterScalarU32' to get the number of frequencies and then by dividing the number of frequency of 20 MHz for a time value.   The maximum time value that may be getting is that of 214.7483648 seconds (2 ^ 32 / 20e6).    I want to stunt/link two counters (CTR0 and CTR1) to get the frequency of 64-bit values.    To be clear, CTR0 configured as CTR1 configured as 32 byte MSB and LSB 32 bits so that whenever CTR0 reached maximum values and "roll" then CTR1 would be incremented by 1.   How can I do this using the C-NOR-DAQmx features?

    Thank you

    Ian

    Hw do will be more reliable, but here are two possible ways to approach it in sw.

    1. There is a DAQmx property with a name similar to "Terminal number reached" that I have used in LabVIEW but do not know the underlying C syntax.  When you query this software, it will return a true once, is reset to false.   I'm sure that he will return a true even once on the * following * the event rollover, but you would be better double-check me on that.  Not knowing your entire application, I guess you will probably need to be prepared to manage several inversions.

    2. in certain applications, rather than establishing a measure which follows the cumulative time, you can configure the hw to measure periods and then take a NAP in sw to get your 'timestamp '.   Unless an individual interval could exceed 200 + seconds, you can just do your accumulation of software with a 64-bit data type.

    Technically, you can even do both.  Do a measure 32-bit intervals hw, do a query of software for the event of tc, accumulate intervals & counties of reversal in a 64-bit int.

  • How to call dll com APIs that range from the performance counters of less than 1 ms with CVI and always get less timer resolution of 1 ms

    Hello

    I've created a dll com in VC ++ using performance counters/timers to less than a millisecond.

    This is useful when you send a message to very high speed. (say 10 or more)

    This is done by the dll.

    When I use CVI to create a user interface, this dll runs at a fixed rate of 1ms.

    This slows down the application.

    I tried to use the same dll with VC ++ host and it works well.

    I need to check the registry setting to see if the useDefaultTimer is set to false or TRUE.

    (I'm not near the development PC) However, by default, it should be FALSE and I have no fidle with it.

    Veuileez post any suggestions you might have.

    Thank you!

    This problem is now solved for me.

    Just the highest thread priority in the dll.

    Thank you if you had the answer.

  • How can I use two counters simultaneously to pulse width measurment

    Hello, everyone!

    I'm new to Labview. I currently have some cDAQ9171 and width measurment with 9401 impulses. My understanding is that the 9401 was 4 meters, which means that I can use these meter separately. However I have the following problem.

    1. I use ctr 0 and ctr 1 (PFI 1 and PFI5) to measure two different impulses. However, it seems that there is an interference between two counters. How can I make two counters working simultaneously and separately?

    2. I first try a pulse width measurment counter in Labview signalExpress. My pulse width is about 0.4ms. However, I can't get the right result, if I choose the starting edge is on the rise (the results always around 20ns. Only if I revise my pulse and pick the starting edge is down, I can get reliable results.

    I'm confused about these issues for about 3 weeks... Is there someone can help what can I do with that?

    I have attached a simple vi...

    Thank you very much!

  • Need help with counters on PCI-6221 (37-pin)

    Hi all

    I have a system with a PCIe 1429 connected to a Basler A504 camera and one I use a clock generator (SRS CG635) of 3.9 kHz for trig the image acquisition.

    On the same system that I need to add a PCI 6221 37
    PIN
    to acquire:

    -2 HAVE 39 kHz, synchronized with the acquisition of the image. (Sample of the 10 for each image)

    -1 meter to measure a frequency

    The accuracy of my clock of 3.9 kHz being much higher than what I have on the DAQ card, I thought that an interesting option would be to have a redeclenchables DAQmx task that generates impulses from 10 to 39 kHz for each pulse received from the clock and then use it to trigger the DAQmx AI task.

    Of course this can only work if the 'trigger' sources that I defined for these two tasks do not take both counters that I have on the card.

    So, let's describe the DAQmx tasks:

    -Here is the one who generates the 39 kHz on 0, the counter of the 3.9 kHz I entered as a source on PFI 4 trig

    -This is the task of analog input for which I put the trigger on 6 PFI.

    It is: I have "softwarely" know the jury to deliver output (Ctr0) 6 FBP counter? And if so, how?

    Thanks in advance for any help!

    Maybe you missed something that I didn't really point out in my post.  The method I described would use the external clock of 3.9 kHz precise as a sample clock, so you would * not * be in danger of loss of synchronization in 1 s per day.  You need to only son of this clock signal in a stem of PFI available and configure the task to HAVE it as a result.  The 80 + kHz clock that controls conversions within each sample cycle * would * be generated by the jury of 6221, but he don't would not accumulate any out-of-sync error because he gets "retriggered" on each edge of the 3.9 kHz precise clock.

  • Physical connections using 4 counters with NI 9411 cDAQ chassis 9178

    Hello

    Currently I have a NI 9411 module in a 9178 cDAQ chassis.  I use 2 meter to read the frequency measures.

    The NI 9411 pinout diagram (see pdf file attached to this post), here are the links that I did:

    CTR 0 SRC, pin 1 ground COM

    DOOR of the CTR 0, pin 2 to the first signal of frequency

    CTR 1 CBC, PIN 6 COM/ground

    CTR 1 DOOR, pin 01:53 frequency signal

    The problem now is that I had like to use meters of 3rd and 4th in my 9178 cDAQ chassis, but I am confused how to wire

    frequency signals in 3rd and 4th, because CTR2 GATE is pin 1 and GATE CTR3 is pin 6.  Can I change the assignment of pins

    to use the other pins in the NI 9411 module for frequency counter measures?  I didn't understand how to do this in MAX

    Configuration.

    Thank you

    Anna

    Hi EETDer,

    Using 'C-Series Signal connections for counters that you found is a good resource.  One thing I want to point out, that's a measure of the frequency on a single meter, simply connect the source of the signal up to the door of the RTC.  Internally, the module will forward a database internal time appropriate to the source of counters, so DO NOT want to connect the Source CTR to the mass.  On your device, you will be just wire each signal to the source of the meter, so only utilizting pines 1,6,3,8 for your 4 frequency measurements.

  • Double counters in Signal Express with a USB-6229

    I have a USB-6229, which I'm running via SignalExpress, and I am trying to simultaneously record two inputs of meter.  However, it seems that he has trouble to add the second channel.  When I add the first string via signals acquire > DAQmx Acquire > counter entry > Position > angular and select ctr0 channel, he (correctly) lists PFI8 and PFI10 as inputs of channels A and B.  However, when I add the ctr1 channel to the same task (via the blue and the button "Add a channel"), he still lists the same PFI8 and PFI10 as input.

    On the other hand, if I first add ctr1 then add ctr0 Secondly, it lists PFI3 and PFI11 as A and channel B for the two entries of meter.

    How can I get the two counters operating independently?

    Thank you

    Josh

    He realized that I can't run two meters of a single task in Signal Express (unlike, say, two analog inputs).  Once I added it as two separate tasks, everything works fine.

    Now I have problems of synchronization.  Looking through these tips and documentation, it seems that I will not be able to fix this via SignalExpress, so I continue in LabView.  I'm having some problems with it, but I'll post in a new thread here.

  • Can I synchronize the counters on two different computers in the C API?

    I installed the M-series cards (6254) in several computers. I would like to synchronize the counters for each card.  The best way that I came with to do this was to have the counter on each counter entries read a common external clock signal running at 10 KHz I have would then feed a second signal to each card and trigger the task that runs each counter starts when the second line goes high.

    Following the examples provided with the C API, it was easy to get each card KHz signal and then to match the beginning of the counter that I tried to read

    DAQmxCfgDigEdgeStartTrig (taskHandle, inputLineStr, DAQmx_Val_Rising);

    However, this did not work and gave me the following error:

    DAQmx error: the specified property is not supported by the device or is not applicable to the task.
    Property: DAQmx_StartTrig_Type

    Task name: task

    State code:-200452
    End of the program, press the Enter key to exit

    I know it's very simple sync the cards within a computer using the RTSI interface, but it is not possible that my cards have to reside in different computers.

    It is even possible to synchronize the counters on computers, and if yes how can I do it with the C API?

    printf ("\rCount: %u", data);
    fflush (stdout);
    }
    Error:
    puts("");
    If (DAQmxFailed (error))

    DAQmxStopTask (taskHandle);
    DAQmxClearTask (taskHandle);
    }
    If (DAQmxFailed (error))
    printf ("error DAQmx: %s\n",errBuff); ")
    printf ("end of the program, press the Enter key to quit\n");
    GetChar ();
    return 0;
    }

    Hi neurostu,

    Arms start triggers are disabled by default, so they do not have a default PFI line.

    You will need to set some properties DAQmx to configure a trigger for start of arms. Try adding between DAQmxCreateCICountEdgesChan() and DAQmxStartTask():

    DAQmxSetArmStartTrigType (taskHandle, DAQmx_Val_DigEdge);

    DAQmxSetDigEdgeArmStartTrigSrc (taskHandle, "/ Dev1/PFI14" ');

    DAQmxSetDigEdgeArmStartTrigEdge (taskHandle, DAQmx_Val_Rising);

    You have the file "help NOR-DAQmx C reference"? It should contain descriptions of the trigger > more > arm Start properties.

  • 9401 counters

    I use the 9172 and I have a question for the 9401 module.  I have an encoder (which requires a counter) and a Devantech SRF05 sonar (which requires an entrance and an exit of meter).  Can I use 2 counters on the 9401 and a digital output signal?

    Hello cend.

    The cDAQ-9172 chassis has only two counters total.  The counters are on the chassis, not the 9401 modules.  Therefore, you can have two tasks only one meter or a two meter task that runs at the same time.

    So, if your sonar uses a counter of entry and exit, you will not be able to use counters anywhere elsewhere in the chassis.

    The cDAQ-9174and 9178 9188 have all four on-board meters would be probably more suited to your application.  These counters are accessible from any location.

    I recently bought a PCI-6221 card with 2 32-bit counters.  I want to read and save two encoders (where the 6221) and analog several entries at the same time...  My research has revealed that it is not possible without an external clock (which can be created using one of the counters) leaving only a single counter for my encoders.  I noticed that the 6221 has a frequency generator.  This generator can be used as a source of clock for counters and HAVE it?

    NOR (or someone else) made a profile Board low counter/timer? Perhaps with similar to 6602 record? If no, are there other options I could look in (I think that sampling rate may be too high to use USB)?

    Hi greatgrandpadog,

    Unfortunately, NEITHER has no counters/timers who are discreet about PCI solutions.

    Our location simple cDAQ-9171 chassis USB has 4 32-bit counters/timers can be used by a clock of 80 MHz to edge (detailed specifications).  For external signals, you can use one of our module of digital I/o that have different characteristics.  You can find a list of them here.  This will be the best way to go for a compact USB counters/timers.  If you have additional IO, take a look at our CompactDAQ Advisor, where you can use a chassis 4 or 8 locations to develop your e/s in a single system.  For a more sophisticated control, CompactRIO offers a similar platform but with FPGA and real-time for greater customization and reliability.  There is a line for this even, consultant here.
