Encoder exhib 8.1 subtitles

After the 8.1 CC with the release of HD movies with subtitles of movies of some, not all, captioning will not be in the mxf files. When you export the same movie since the Premiere Pro however timeline that legends are there. Also, when they are ingested by the original film is in first time 608 and 708 captions are present, but on exit there is the 608 or the 708 captions not both. We are editing in Apple Pro Res 422 and export XDCAM HD 50 60i.

Hi Jon,

I don't know if you've ever supported for your problem of legends, but this post may be useful if you are always faced with the question: Embedded captions not visible

Thank you
Kevin

The same thing happen on my Toshiba TV. Unfortunately, there is nothing to do about it.
It is interesting that the same problem happens on different devices from different manufacturers, so the same question is when I watch movies stored on USB and watch using BR of LG player.

  • How to add: subtitles encoded for digital television.

original title: subtitles encoded for digital television.

Am able to get subtitles for analogue tv but not digital. How can I organize it so I have captions on digital television too?

    Hello

Turning on the closed captioning is the same for all types of live TV: in Media Center, go to tasks, settings, TV captioning and change the legend display option you like.

  • Subtitles encoded by changing the calendar - is there a key combination?

Hi - I looked at the how to make closed captions video made by Adobe.

\when the instructor moves the time where the numbers go really fast (at all about the minute 2 Marc)

is there a key combination to move the numbers - command + arrow or something? A hand comes up with the horizontal arrows... How to turn it on without having to manually type the numbers.

The only way I can understand to edit it is by typing in time which is tedious, if I could him shift by pressing a key or an arrow which would be lot easier, anyone know?

Robyn: Do you mean Open legends? (Instead of captioning). This is the video you are referring, I guess: create and customize subtitles (open captions). If this isn't the case, please let me know.

As to your question, when the mouse pointer displays the hand-to-arrows icon, click and move the mouse left or right to move the timecode value upwards or downwards. Moreover, this tip applies to any creation of value-blue you see in any CC approx. (for example, he works in the indicator of big blue timecode in the timeline panel.)

  • Incorporation of subtitles encoded in MPEG

I've seen a few questions about it but still do not understand. I work with first Pro CC on a Windows computer. I was invited by a television channel to submit captioned MPEG files closed for a 30 minute show that I say. The station wants files legend incorporated into MPEG format I understand that Premiere Pro is not able to do. How can I convert the file and the MP4 or mov with embedded subtitles file I created first in the format they need? It's pretty urgent so CLEAR any advice would be greatly appreciated

Premiere Pro does not caption MPEG-2 - for closed coating water courses incorporate legends on DVD, I suggest to look at which is supported at the exit of the SOUL, or if you are using, look over there.

  • Police subtitles encoded in first Pro CC?

    Hello

I am creation of subtitling in first Pro CC and I was wondering if it is possible to change the fonts/follow-up/leader etc. ?

The police, spacing between letters and words and just general style of default captions is terrible!

Imported in first subtitle files suffer from the same problem?

As a question aside, is a good way to create subtitles on the Mac, it's free and easy?

    Thank you

    Hi kinkersnick127,

No, you cannot change the police or anything about the format of the text. Only the color.

This text style is the standard for captioning. You can't change it.

I don't think there are any good free tools, but some offer a free trial. Once you get your legends made, you can change them from scratch.

  • HD subtitles encoded in HDCam by BlackMagic UltraStudio Express

I was able to go to HDCam tape via Final Cut 7 and my BlackMagic UltraStudio Express. So I know that the problem is not with the box or tape. Van all the settings are correct.

I'm having a problem going band thanks to a new installation of first CC via the UltraStudio Express. Not only am I do not receive captions throughout, there is no picture at all. The image appears correctly through the Ultrastudio if the Edit to tape window is not open. But once the change of band process is engaged, it puts a black screen to strip.

I see the captions in my calendar and they read on the computer screen when the sequence is played.

Any ideas on what setting and/or the drivers I must be wrong that could cause this problem?

    Thank you

    Jason Wood

If you experience problems for the legends to write on the tape, follow up with the card - if it is Blackmagic, then go to them and explain the problem.

Here, we can solve the issues are export and legends in MOV or MXF integration, exporting to the sidecars of legend and legend to the monitors transmission errors.

As a general rule, if you are having problems with captions go out anywhere, for the band, or if not, make sure that the framerate caption exactly the frame rate of the sequence you have. In regards to the image not being don't not, check with the manufacturer of material or the card.

  • Greek subtitles from any source for my Toshiba 32L 4333

I thing I tried everything. Another encoding (utf8, ansi, unicode), different formats, different sources (usb, dlna) subtitles but it seems I can't do (Greek) subtitles are displayed.

I can't understand what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?

As much as I know, that subtitles don't are not supported via DLNA.

But play video files from USB, it should be possible to activate the subtitles.
Video files must be in the format of MKV file. Subtitles should be stored in the srt file in the movie folder. The srt file also supports the UTF-8 format.

Select UTF-8 standard, text editor such as Notepad ++.
Then, you choose the character set and I also choose the option convert to UTF - 8.

  • Can I use Cyrillic subtitles on my TOSHIBA L323950 TV movies USB?

It seems that the TV does not support subtitles in any language Cyrillic or maybe there is something that I do everything.
When I play a movie from USB-flash, there are also subtitles in. SRT format.
The video is OK, but the subtitles (in Bulgarian language) seem like some strange symbols.

I'm trying to save the SRT file with UNICODE encoding, but in this case the TV freezes as soon as I start the videofile. I also try to UTF-8 encoding - in this case, the empty file plays well, but no subtitles are detected at all.

So my question is: this model takes into Cyrillic SRT sub title during playback of movies USB?
If so, why can I not see them.

    Thank you!

I have the same problem on my Toshiba TV. Cyrillic subtitles cannot be displayed correctly. The same as symbols?,?, or can not be displayed correctly.

So far I have t found no solution to this. Reading a few other forums other people described the same problem for the Spanish language (a e i o u).
Firmware is the latest version, but the problem is still there.

By the way: can you please test this method and I would like to know if it works for you.

  • An encoder quadrature of a single tree NEMA23 engine mounting (both of OR)

If I have an engine of NEMA 23 (exhibit no. T22NRLG-Paramus-NS-00) and an encoder quadrature (part number 15T-01SA-1000-N5RHV-F00-CE) is it possible to connect the two? I ask b/c the design of the engine is not clear, but it seems that I would need an engine DOUBLE shaft to mount the encoder and because the simple tree engine has no mounting hole on his face. Please help me if you can, thanks

    Hi cforem5,

Unfortunately, you will very probably make the engine double shaft to attach the encoder. This is indicated in the record of stepper motor and encoder specifications .

In theory, you could mount the encoder to the single tree motor shaft, but he wouldn't leave enough room to connect to what anyone else in the tree. If possible, it would be better track down an engine double shaft.

I hope the information is useful!

    1. it's quite strange that almost all TV support mp4. What brand and model
TV? What is the source of your mp4 files and how they were encoded?

    2. under titles, take a look at http://sourceforge.net/projects/wmpsub/ but I
do not think that the DLNA specification (playing at) includes support for title of void. Some
other DLNA servers can include support for this as an extension of the owner. You
can certainly search or check some of them. The server Kooraroo is supposed
to support this and there is there a free version (do a web search).

  • do not display the subtitles

    I use Adobe first CC

I was asked to add the two CEA-608 closed CEA-708 encoded in the video for TV commercial

So created two closed captions with the CEA - 608 cc1 parameters and parameters of CEA-708 1 service.

I have two of them trained in the timeline above the video file.

For some reason I can't click o the toggle track output to display one or the other.

"So I'm going to"Closed Captioning display"> setting ' to switch between views.

Maybe this isn't the way to do?

    I used ARRI 1080 p 30 predefined,

    My export setting is:

    Format: Quicktime

    video codec: H.264

    Legends: stir.

but when the file send out for proof. I am told that the video file does not contain of CEA - 708?

    What I am doing wrong?

If someone can enlighten us please...

    Hello

Captioning of switch setting in the menu key is the only way you can see subtitles CEA-608 and 708 - ECA in the same project.

Also, here is the list of support enabled for the export of captioning in Premiere Pro.

    Format embedded

    Import

    Export

    QuickTime (mov) video

    CEA-708 or CEA - 608

    CEA-608

    Material Exchange Format (*.mxf)

  • Video error setting DirectShow with Media Encoder

I have a software named Swift with which I create subtitles for various clients.  I have a client, however, whose videos regularly give me an error message of the following type (when I try to load them): "impossible to define DirectShow Protocol."   My question is: can I use Media Encoder to export a version of the video that will not give me this error message?  So far, the answer appears to be 'no,' because I exported the original mov file as an avi and a mp4 and two videos gave me the same error message.  But there seems to be a lot of options in Media Encoder, I thought that perhaps a combination of these options can output a video that works in fact for me (who wouldn't give me a piece of error message "DirectShow" Protocol).

Any ideas how (or if) I can use Media Encoder to create a version without video problems?

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: For some reason, the same Swift software on another computer usually seems to load the videos without problem.  I can't solve this because Swift is telling me that their product is not licensed for Windows 10, both of my computers using.

I think I answered my own question.  I've exported the problem as a wmv file and that wmv seems to work very well.

  • Are formats QuickTime the only way to incorporate subtitles?

I can't integrate subtitles encoded in any format outside of QuickTime.  I need to incorporate for television purposes so that the viewer can turn them on and off.  However, the format QuickTime spits a 23 GB file as opposed to a 2 GB file that would be an .mp4 file.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
