  If you use only the MacBook Air screen it's doable, but it's hard to return to the normal display.

  Try this (works) in El Capitan:

  1. Launch of system in the Apple  menu preferences.
  2. Command-Option-click on the "View" icon
  3. On the right side of the display preferences, search for the "Rotation" menu dropdown visible again.

  I am writing an application for plotting of curve for evaluation of ASIC devices and should link all of the pairs of pins possible to do this. I use the main switch to load in the roads, there is a specific ASIC and want to get programmatically the end points of the current road for insertion in the logging system. Is this possible?

  Hi Jason,

  I guess you don't use OR-Switch 2.3.  To my knowledge, NI Switch Executive came out only with the following versions: 2.0, 2.0.1, 2.1, 2.1.1 3.0.

  The option you listed is not your only option, but this is the option I recommend for older versions of NI Switch Executive.  Don't forget that you can use groups of road to store the line separate to the Poles, while only a call connection is required.

  One extra option that you have is to use two NI Switch Executive devices virtual.  A virtual device a module the PXI-2532 lines reserved for routing and the other virtual device is not.  Whenever you want to connect more than one column on the same line, you may close the session to the 'reserved for routing' virtual device and log on to the other virtual device (where you connect several end of column points to the same line).  Note that you can not sessions open to two virtual devices at the same time because they try to share the same hardware.

  Upgrades to NI Switch Executive 3.0 a possibility?  There are two additional functions, you enjoy:

  • Intuitive graphical Configuration utility
  1. Point-and-click graphical configuration environment - allows rapid development of switching systems
  2. Change channel aliases in place
  3. Create complex routing groups by clicking matrix points one at a time
  • Import/export of Microsoft Excel

• visa usb communication in bulk - several end points

  Hi all

  I'll put up a spectrometer optics USB2000 + ocean and want to use visa instead of the dll that I had with the spectrometer (I had a lot of stability problems, moreover, this is not supported by the ocean optics and I won't have to pay for the new version).  I have documentation for the spectrometer and were able to set the integration time and receive ghosts as quickly that the dll has been able to.  But I was not able to read the information of calibration of the spectrometer.  All controls use the transfer block, so I use visa read and write to send/receive.  I think it's the difference between the spectral data and calibration data, that the data comes from different points of termination.   The spectrometer has 4 endpoint addresses (3-PC = IN, 1 PC = OUTSIDE).  The spectral data returns to the first endpoint and the calibration data is on 3rd in.

  Is there a setting I need to change to read from a different end point?  They are all in bulk type according to the documentation.  Any suggestion would be appreciated.

  It seems that there is a parameter, you can change by a property node that will change reading from what endpoint. If you use a text-based program, the property, you need to change is VI_ATTR_USB_BULK_IN_PIPE. If you are using LabVIEW, follow these steps:

  First of all, to ask a VISA property on your block diagram node (really any node property works). Then, right-click on the property node and select Select class-> VISA-> / o Session-> USB Raw. This step can be found in attached below EndpointSS1.png and change the property node to a node property USB Raw. Thirdly, left-click on the property and select settings USB-> pipe in bulk. This step can be found in EndpointSS2.png, attached below. It is the property that defines at what endpoint to read from. To change the value of the present, right-click on the property node and select change all to write, which will allow you to connect to an endpoint value.

  I had the same problem and the error you mentioned above... Has been frustrating me. After working through the questions Tech above, I discovered that it was related to basic and Windows Firewall filtering engine.

  Check if your Windows Firewall is working properly, and if you can make changes. If you get an error code when you try to change your firewall settings, which could be what it is.

  I had the same problem and the error you mentioned above... Has been frustrating me. After much research I found out she was related to the basic and Windows Firewall filtering engine.

  Check if your Windows Firewall is working properly, and if you can make changes. If you get an error code when you try to change your firewall settings, which could be what it is.

  2. you have an an external sound card or internal, installed on the computer?

  Method 1:

  I suggest you to follow the steps and check.

  (a) click Start

  (b) type services.msc in the search box, and then press enter.

  (c) scroll down to Windows Audio and Windows Audio endpoint builder of Point

  (d) both should be started and set to automatic if one or both are arrested.

  (e) click the name to select it.

  (f) click on restart the service at the top left.

  (g) repeat for both if necessary. If some are not set to automatic, and then double-click the name and on the drop-down list to set the startup type to automatic and apply and ok your way out.

  Method 2:

  If you have a sound card, I suggest you uninstall the audio driver from the Device Manager and and then install the latest audio driver version from the sound card manufacturer's website.

  Let us try these steps and see if that fixes the problem:

  (a) press Windows + R keys to open search Run

  (b) type regedit , and then click ok

  go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\BFE

  c) on the right, click it, click permissions

  (d) click on ADD and type everyone and click ok

  (e) now click on all

  (f) below, you have permissions for users, select full control and click ok

  g keys) press Windows + R to open Run Search

  (h) type services.msc , and then click ok

  (i) double-click base filtering engine service.

  (j) Make sure that the service status is started and the startup type is automatic

  (k) the procedure for the windows firewall service

  (l) click on apply and Ok.
