  I created a PDF form with multiple pages. I started with an Illustrator file, then exported to Acrobat to make it complete. For some reason any, however, when users enter text on the first page and try to continue on the other, the text on the first page only auto copies on the following pages. And if you delete what was on the second page (or third) to enter the correct data, which provides information on the first page.

  I guess it must be something that twisted when I was creating the form, so I don't know if there is a way to fix without all over again.

  Give a unique name to each field. The fields with the same name are copies of each other and will automatically have the same value.

  Rather than enter a default text in the field, get rid of any script, you have for the field and use the following custom format script:

  Custom Format script

  If (! event.value) event.value = "your default text goes here.";

  The string that you specify here will be displayed when the field is empty and the text that is entered in the fields, in the opposite case. It will also disappear when the field is selected, which is what you want.

  I have little problem set. order of fields in form of Muse and naming in the submitted e-mails.

  There is a simple form (for a subscription to the newsletter) with 3 fields (tags are off): name, surname and email address.

  Muse site is not hosted on BC and everything works fine (emails sent, name and email are delivered) except these things:

  1. the subject of the email subject is "submission of form XY. Is it possible to change the subject?

  2. in the presentation of muse, I have 1 the name field (for the first name), then a single line filed for the name field, then the email field.

  But the delivered mail reads as:

  Name: XY (First name)

  Email: email

  Custom: XY (family name)

  Is it possible to change the order and rename the fields correctly?

  The label used in the enamel, is the same thing as the label used in the form of Muse, even if the label is hidden, so you can change your last label of the name "custom" for "last name" field and which should improve the email you get.

  In regard to the order of the fields in the email doesn't match not in order on the page, I think it's a bug of Muse. Muse currently generates e-mail based on the order of the fields in your form, rather than the order from top down. You should be able to affect the order of fields in the e-mail by selecting the individual form fields and choosing "send to back" or "leading" in the menu object.

  You must allow commenting as well. Reader users will be able to add attachments as comments. You can also use JavaScript with Player 11 and DC to automate the process somewhat.

  If you need users of Reader in order to add attachments as Acrobat can, you need to add the right of use of file attachments, but you can't do that with Acrobat.

  When you try to print in Firefox and when the scale to the size of the page in the page layout, the first page prints correctly, but the following pages do not scale correctly and are too large for the paper, with the parts of the text are cut off at top and right. It is not fixed by checking or unchecking the scaling / shrink to fit page width "ignore" in the print window, or by changing the scale percent.

  I am running Firefox 15.0.1, on Mac OS 10.5.8.

  The same problem happens in preview print and if I save the copy in a .pdf file

  I tried all the fixes in the how to and others in various forums with no improvement.

  This happens everytime I try to print a document from scaling upwards or downwards in Firefox.

  We built a custom form for use at the office, but we need power annotate (point climax, Crossout, change of color etc) the text type us in the fields of the form. It took the form of field properties to the rich text editing, but allowing only limited changes (underlined or bold).

  A. is there a way to allow the annotation within a text field using javascript or any other method?

  B. is there another way to make an editable form without using form fields that would allow me to annotate the typed in the text?

  A. No. only if you flatten the file and convert the form of static text fields.

  B. you can use the tool to add text, but that is very different to the use of form fields and has its own disadvantages.

  I have this particular requirement where I need the table header to have a text that says "Title of the Table - suite" on the following Pages. How do I get there?

  Table has a header row (selected the option "Include the HeaderRow on the following Pages" and is repeated on the following Pages) and a body line repeating that will have the DataXML values.

  If the table will look something like this;

  If the table grows because of the initial connection and not a button 'Add the line' so that you can move this code to the docReady, which will not also often called event.  Code in the events of layout: loan can be a performance issue.

  Pagnation function "include header line in the following Pages" does not work for any table in my design. (the check box cannot be verified little matter how many times I click it)

  I put such table already in a bodypage flow.

  Any reported similar problem?

  Any suggestions?

  The only thing I can think is that your table is not in a subform flowed. Who will stop the check boxes.

• Trying to hide a column but the header reappear on the following pages

  Here is my little problem, I have a table, a bit normal. What I try to do is the following:

  I wish I could hide a full column based on the data. I was actually able to hide a column, but my problem is that when the table breaks into a second page, "header cell" on the second page of the column I hid reappear.

  Here's how I did my stash:

  -In table Initialize script, I check a condition, and if this condition is met, I'm hiding the header cell.

  If (Verif.name4_we.rawValue == "" or Verif.name4_we.isNull) then

  HeaderRow.Cell3.presence = "hidden".

  -For normal lines, I always check the same exact condition and if the condition is met, I hide the cell.

  You must first, double-click the rule to open the palettes of drawing AIDS (or go into the top-> palettes-> drawing AIDS menu) and set the units to Points.

  You need tables and a structure, a table which will show real information and a structure that will be imported into your program with the correct width (column DialogResult.Cancel will have a value of 0.001 in the structure). The structure is hidden in the page layout.

  Table.columnWidths = width

  Explanation: You concatenate each rawValue of your table that contains the width of your columns with "pt" (the unit), in this way, you can set the widths of all columns in a single command (Table.columnWidths = width).

  This should resize the entire column, including the header. (It works on my side)

  When you specify an inside bleed on PDF export of a document pages facing, which bleed area is at the edge of the other page in the spread. This is quite normal.

  Most of the time do not need you to bleed inside and it is harmless and can be ignored, or you can set the inside bleed to 0, but if you need a purge of iniside and bleeding object does not continue through the spine, then you must divide the spread and extend the object.   I have a date field and a 4-digit numeric field in my form. I want to concatenate these fields in a new field in the following format: "YYYYMMDD [4-digit numeric field]."

  We have built a PDF for a customer who has a number of form fields. Some are same line but most are multiline fields. Everything works well except that on some areas, views "overflow indicator text' and on the other is not.

  We cannot predict the length of the text (it will take overflow on most fields) so they need to be a fixed height. It looks like Acrobat is struggling to understand what fields have 'overflow' text and then sometimes displays the indicator and sometimes is not even if the fields themselves are identical. I know that we can stop the indicator to display in our individual preferences, but this wont be any good for the recipients that we cannot say to each user for that turn on or off.

  Any guidance appreciated! Is there a way to disable this flag for end users?
