• Firefox beta 35. not ready for prime time.

  I spent all weekend trying to get the beta version of Firefox 35 to work. What I found is that * extensions of all it does not work with the exception of the maintenance of the premises. I can't download any extension that Firefox is so famous. The error is something like "unable to install"plugin-name"in its current state." Activation of any extension requires a FF reboot, same places maintenance. Try to remove an extension fails and must be done manually.

  I'm on Windows 7 Premium desktop Firefox 32 bits. I've 'committed' myself to 35 FF last night (which means history and cache out of settling because did not work it extension "expire history by days'), when I found out that 35 played well with some sites using Flash. It was a capricious thing. Many sites worked as usual, but some would not. Examples:

  First time I have had a problem with a version beta of Firefox, but it's definitely not ready for prime time. I realize FF tries to get away from what we call 'Exclusive Modules' but 35 FF in its current state just fill in Support of Moz forums with millions of complaints (guess I'm one of the first). I now have 1 extension (the only one that works on 35), the above mentioned "Site Maintenance".

  I thought you might like this report as 'user input '. God knows I've tried... I have downloaded 35 at least a dozen times and then was forced to 34.0.5. So I'm back on 34.0.5

  Good news, friends... and thanks for holding my hand during all this time. I mainly need to know if my problems were me. global or all just... and perhaps others with some configurations.

  I am now on 35.0b2 (not sure how that happened). Anyway, I downloaded beta, that is, reset Firefox, added my cookies.sqlite and permissions.sqlite, has spent half an hour in the 'options', and then checked things and seems to be back in the game!

• Geez, Fusion 5.0 looks like it is not ready for prime time!

  I rely on the merger to run my Sunos 10.5, 10.6, Windows 7, oS Linux RHE.   I don't have not upgraded to ML yet due to some issues with IPSEC VPN.  It seems now 5 Fusion does not work with Lion 10.7.4 and that's the least of his problems.  It is such a disaster that brought me from Parallels to VMWARE in 3.0, despite the fact that it turns out that they charge $50 every year or so for upgrades and I two MBP to upgrade.

  Interesting that this upgrade is timed with a deal to get the latest Parallels for $39, if you have VMware.  I used a trial version and imported a Solaris 10.5 UNIX, WIndows 7 and 10.4 Fedora Linux VM and works very well.  What the hell happened to FUsion?   Is this the type of press

  We can expect on the hypervisor pro?  Should I look for to start recommending open source hypervisor (which we all know well)?

  From the personal and professional point of view, I have some real serious concerns here.  I have a lot of clients running the VMWARE hypervisor for virtualization on Wall Street.  I think it just barely live Q / a.  Looks like I really need start looking for ZEN.  Irony is that the C-level execs seem like when a product is 'legitimated' by price, releases, etc. (so of Fedora and RHE, at the time not taken seriously until)

  RHE came out for $3,000... then it's OK).

  Looks like it's back to Parallels. + 2 parallels.   I can't take a chance of installing junk that don't work.

  V10.7.4 OS X has some issues with usb3 devices stability, as it seems. I saw it myself, and it has lot of problems mentioned by people on different forums. Mountain Lion seems to have a more stable usb3 pilot, even if there are still some problems. I have to admit that I see many problems with usb3 and stability in general (meaning: also on Windows 7). Maybe that usb3 for OS X and Windows 7 drivers may need time to mature. I hope it is different with Linux and Windows 8. Maybe it's the cause of your problems, but I'm not sure about this.

  Anyway, you mention that the external hard drive uses its own encryption and merge sort is not able to use the virtual disk to the virtual machine. You are able to use this external drive like any other drive in OS X? As creating folders, copying documents from the drive, removal of files, etc.. It worked with Fusion 4.1.3 on the same machine? How did you upgrade? Did you stop all the vm before the upgrade or you did suspend?

  Just for my own information: are you currently testdriving VMware Fusion 5?

  Edit: I was reading the notes version and found some thing usb3 in the known "problems":

  • Unable to start a VM from USB 3.0 on MacBook Air 5.1 devices
    You may not be able to start a virtual machine from the devices USB 3.0 on MacBook Air 5.1.
    When you attach a USB 3.0 device, you see the error messageThe  device 'XXX' was unable to connect to its ideal host controller. An  attempt will be made to connect this device to the available host  controller. This might result in undefined behavior for this device.

    You can ignore the error message and the installation of the OS on the USB device. However, after restarting the virtual machine, the USB 3.0 device does not appear in the Start Menu.

    Solution: Use a USB 2.0 as a replacement device.

  This sounds a bit like the problem you are experiencing. I wonder if it isn't just a problem of usb3 with all new MBA 2012 and MBP models (including the retina MBP). Maybe someone else can shed some light on this.

• Flash Player update does not reflect in complementary or plug-in modules Check Manager

  The Add-ons Manager shows that I have Flash Player version 11.3.300.265. Plug-ins control reveals there is an update, and I downloaded and installed Flash Player version 11.3.300.268. Six times! Each time, installation shows as successful on the Adobe site, but FF14 does not reflect the new version, and checking the plug-in continues to insist that the version is outdated.

  I had no problem it is updated to the latest version of Flash Player in Internet Explorer (8). But FF gives me once more wrong with this.

  In addition, the Add-ons Manager shows a version of Flash 9.0.45.0, updated February 20, 2007. There is a big red warning as it is obsolete. This is in addition to Shockwave Flash (the correct one) and Shockwave for Director (which is common). It has been like this for awhile and I disabled the ancient version of Flash and it does not affect the performance FF or Flashplayer.

  I tried to delete my database of plugins, but I just get all the information even when it is in reconstruction. Any suggestions or solutions would be appreciated.

  You can have several Flash dll in your Flash file, or possibly in other places. Please see this thread for troubleshooting suggestions: flash works fine in firefox 14 but I can not update. Can track you?

  I'm plot data on a graph of absolute time and I find 2 hours difference between the data displayed by the debugger (left) and data on the graph (X - SCALE AUTO).

  The time saved in ptTime, was acquired by using the function 'time' and the PC has Amsterdam, Berlin, Rome as time zone.

  Here, under a screen shot that implemented the code, the debugger and the result.

  The debugger is also showing the version in good time!

  Can anyone suggest me how to process data in order to have the same result on the debugger window and on the graph?

  Question: in the CVI debugger show you, the time_t variable appears as a double, while its definition in 'time.h' is ' typedef unsigned int time_t; "so I am a little confused.

  Response: I did something nonsense in this screenshot: I took a variable of type double (it happened to be a UIDateTime, actually) and configured the debugger to format as if it were a time_t variable. The formatted values that the debugger shows me, therefore, are not valid, of course. But I just wanted to show the time_t format, because it corresponds to what you have in your screenshot, and I was already suspicious that you use time_t variable to pass to the curve.

  Furthermore, if you are not familiar with the way in which you can change the formatting in the debugger, this is how you do it:

  

  Usually, the debugger can automatically pick the best format to use, based on the data type of the variable (for example, with variables of time_t). But in this case, what the debugger calls a variable "Date Time" is all just a double. The debugger cannot assume that you want to display all your double variables as a 'Date Time', and so you need to replace yourself.

  Response: There is really no such thing as a type of data "UIDateTime". I've been a bit remiss with my terminology.   I am trying to build a chart of mixed signals with 4 inputs (Temp, Temp setpoint, % RH and set RH %).  I want the X axis to be absolute time, but do not know how to wire properly.  To search the help files and discussion forums, I think I should include a timestamp as a DBL.  So far, I have created 3 scenarios:

  • All of the lines of work but x 4 entered is relative.
  • Two main lines of work and entered x is absolute time (below)
  • Even with 4 inputs graphic breeze with an error that the number of entries in cluster does not match (away).  ???

  I seem to be missing something basic.  I would be very happy to anyone help... until the computer gets!

  There seems to be a problem with the time of the x axis when you enter analog data tables and the waveform of digital data. Try the attached vi where you are piping the analog data as waveforms. Allows always to look at the data as it is collected over a period of time, which is what it seems you are trying to do. It also has a clear function. My example is rough; It would probably be best done with loops producer-consumer or one event loop to make it more effective. Let me know if this does not work.

  code above produce white for clusters that has one host for all other groupings that has 2 or several hosts results are correct. I know that there is no point of having a single node cluster or not, but the result does not reflect his decent stats.

  Welcome to the communities.

  For the first part, the number of hosts in a cluster with zero (0) or one 1 host - there are a number of things happening there.

  When the Get-VMHost call returns only one host, and you then try to access to the. Property of the count of $objHosts, you try to access this property on an object VMHost, not an array of length 1 with a VMHost inside.  And, since the VMHost object has no property '. " Count' you get a return of the 'white' or null.

  And when Get-VMHost will return no host, and you are trying to access. Count on $objHosts, you effectively type '$null. "Count", since $objHosts - eq $null at that time.

  Two ways to handle these cases would be to use the Measure-Object cmdlet or explicitly to a table, even if zero or one VMHosts are returned.  As:

  ## using Measure-Object$objHosts = Get-VMHost -Location $objcluster($objHosts | Measure-Object).Count    ## correctly returns 0 or 1 (or greater)...## or## forcing an array, even if 0 or 1 items returned$objHosts = @(Get-VMHost -Location $objcluster)$objHosts.Count        ## correctly returns 0 or 1 (or greater)...
  

  Regarding the behavior you're seeing with the statement Foreach-Object with $objVMs, I suspect that the behavior of the Foreach-Object statement when you're running an empyt null him is at stake here.  In other words, while you can imagine "$arrEmptyArray | % {'Hello'}' to produce anything, happening actually by an interation of the loop (really - try - the).  So to avoid this, you can delete the unnecessary part that stores the output of Get - VM in the variable "$objVMs" and combine the lines to channel the output from Get - VM directly to the Foreach-Object statement, as:

  Get-VM -Location $objCluster | %{    $intNumVMCpus += $_.NumCpu    $intTotVMMemMB += $_.MemoryMB    $intTotVMProvisionedSpaceGB += $_.ProvisionedSpaceGB    $intTotVMUsedSpaceGB += $_.usedSpaceGB}
  

  By the way: while we're updating this code a little, another way that you could get these totals is again using the Measure-Object cmdlet, this time with the parameter - sum, as:

  Get-VM -Location $objCluster | Measure-Object -Sum -Property NumCpu, MemoryMB, ProvisionedSpaceGB, usedSpaceGB
  

  Much more compact and allows just of PowerShell do the work.  Although you then maintain the return of the object of measures, depending on the situation, it is quite practical.

  We have the integration of the Architecture of OBIEE OID. We are affecting the various users they belong to the Group and is not reflected immediately, it must restart the OBIEE Services.
  
  So every time what new roles added should rebound by services? Does perform a work around that. We use 10.1.3.3.1. IO is on a different physical Machine.

  Hello-

  By default, the RPD puts cache blocks of variables to initialize session for the variable session have the cached value, and I think this may be your problem.

  Connect to the RPD and choose Manage ==> Variables. Select the initialization block which is used for the integration of the OID, and then double-click the GROUP variable. Then click on the button "edit data target...". ». On this screen, you will find a checkbox "use caching. Clear this check box, click OK, and then save the RPD. I don't know if it should be, but you can bounce the services one last time for good measure to apply your changes. This should then allow you to make changes to your roles without having to bounce the services in the future.

• Zoom r16 output does not reflect the master Pro Logic output

  I have a Zoom R16 hooked to Logic Pro X on El captain.

  Everything seems to work fine, but the release of the Zoom R16 always gives the sound, the monitor of the line, not the output of Logic Pro X inputs. If the helmet and out of line always give the full release of all entries and not the combination of Logic Pro. On the master output indicators seem to give the right indication (that is, not if all the sliders are declining), but that does not reflect the sound on the output.

  Is this a settings problem, a problem with Logic Pro or a problem with the Zoom R16.

  Anyone who suffers it, or has a sollution?

  How exactly this is connected to your Mac?  I guess that via USB?

  You have the latest drivers for it?

  Have you checked the Audio 'MIDI settings' application (Applications > utilities) to check that it is correctly configured in the operating system?

  Have you checked its configuration in LPX?  Two place to check.  1 - logic Pro X menu > control surfaces > Preferences 2 - Logic Pro X menu > control surfaces > Setup

  I would like to display the absolute timestamps on the x axis of a 2D graph in the DISPLAY of the waveform channels in a PDM file. The timestamp of the first sample is stored in the wf_start_time property.

  I found this article , but I don't want to generate a weather channel because the benefit of waveforms is to avoid storing the part x of the signal in the files.

  Is there another solution since 2007?

  I use DIAdem 2011 and LV 2011.

  The only way to display the datetime values on the x-axis of the graph in SIGHT and the only standard way to do the graphics in the REPORT, is to create a DateTime String.  DIAdem in 2011 it is much easier to do, since you can use the standard ANALYSIS function "Generate digital channel", by selecting the option buttons 'values of x-part of a waveform channel' and 'Create channel time (with absolute time reference).  You can also use the standard ANALYSIS function "digital channels <==>waveform.
