ePrinting of Android to PhotoSmart 7520 mode landscape?

Hello... I recently bought the PhotoSmart 7520 and have everything set up.  I have a Samsung S4 phone and a Tablet from Samsung 10.1.  I downloaded from the Google store to play on two of them - HP ePrint and All-in-One-remote control

I tried both of these apps to print on the printer.  They both work, but I can not on any of the applications or ffrom either device figure out how to change it to print the image in a profile of landscape.  It will print on paper 4 x 6 "but NOT landscape profile (hopefully, you know what I mean)... There is a white bar at the top and bottom of the image.

Or, once there, I had to print on the whole sheet of 4 x 6 but rather as a * landscape * style of shooting was like a * portrait * image type.  When you want the other way, he eventually cut the picture and giving you a skinny view.  Is there a way for the application to change the landscape that I have not found?

It seems so weird that a photo printer would be missing this option.

Thanks for any info

For now, there is no option to choose landscape or portrait settings.

  • Photosmart 7520: ePrint email address

I recently bought a Photosmart 7520 refrubished. He already had an email ePrint address in Setup. This is different from the email ePrint I had the installer with my Photosmart 7520 precedent and is still shown in my account when I connect to the ePrint account. How can I change the ePrint on the instrument address to match what I have on my account? Thank you

    Hi Toledo_RD,

There is no way to match the old printer e-mail ID in your account with a different printer.

    All you can do is:

    1. add email ID in your account or

    2. to register the printer and save it again to get a cool email ID and the assertion according to which email ID on your account.

I recommend the 2nd way. Because this will give you a fresh email ID and your email ID that is not exposed to someone else.

  • PHOTOSMART 7520 GOING 'OFF LINE' IN ENERGY SAVING MODE

My Photosmart 7520 is connected wireless to my HP Envy laptop m6 running Windows 8.  When turned on, it works.  I can send print jobs to the printer from my laptop and print.  But after the printer has been in this is the mode to save energy for a few minutes, the printer goes offline and I can't get this back online on the computer.  The error message on the computer, it's that the computer cannot communicate with the printer.  The only way to get it printed again is that I do, at the printer, release the mode 'sleep' and then turn it off and then new.  (Automatic shutdown is DISABLED as long as the printer on a wireless network).

I had, during the last months of 2 1/2 a number of HP technicians has check the settings of the printer, the parameters of my laptop and HP even replaced the printer for me.  But I still have the problem.  Is that how the printer is supposed to work, is it a default in printers and is there a solution?

OK, that's weird, it's a decent router.  Is its firmware updates?

Have you set the static IP address in the printer or router?

  • Photosmart 7520: News on the firmware updated

    Hello

I was talking to HP support problems with the latest firmware pushed for the 7520 breach ePrint and network services and they told me that there is an updated release due to be released for download via the software / support site, I was wondering when the new firmware is supposed to be available?

    Matt

    Hello

A new firmware to restore the ePrint feature are available on hp.com, however it is currently available for MS Windows :

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-Photosmart-7520-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5199461/model/5199462/swItemId/OJ-113641-5

I don't know if / when it wil become available for Mac OS, that's why I suggest you get a Windows PC and update of the printer, if you can have such an or can borrow a laptop to a member, family, etc.

If you need to use another PC, remember to install the printer drivers first prioor runs the update:

  • e print setup for Photosmart 7520 cannot the printer code to generate

New printer HP Photosmart 7520 - ePrint does not work as I can not web services to activate.  I also cannot the printer to generate the code for the printer to add it on the web

    Hi Teresa77,

I see you are trying to reproduce the web services page.  The 7520 Photosmart doesn't have the option to print the page of information on the printer itself.

    Try the following steps.

1 obtain the IP address of your printer

    a. This can be done by pressing the icon on the printer wireless.

    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.

    3. Select the Web Services tab.

    4. on the left side, select print information Page.

Let me know how it goes.

I don't know that to which you are referring - he could be the following:

    By PrintDoc Web services

PhotoSmart 7520 does not connect to "Web Services"

You can take a look at the suggestions already provided - they are likely valid for your situation.

I can also offer you the following:

    • A method essentially provides the procedure that you find in PrintDocof wire,
    • Two method explains one more 'standard' reset Web Services approach.

  • Photosmart HP 7520: HP Photosmart 7520 unable to connect to Web Services

I was able to scan for months, now impossible.  It seems that there is a difficulty, but it is not displayed publicly.  Can you please send it to me?

    Hello @Jibberdee ,

Welcome to the forums of HP.

I understand that you are having a problem with the e-mail scanning on your Photosmart 7520 function.

    I would like to help.

The first thing to try is a manual DNS.

The following link will take you to a terminal of happytohelp01, which has detailed photos and instructions to set the manual DNS. The instructions are for a Photosmart 7510, but the steps will be the same.

EFax 7510 still does not work after the power off/on several times ePrint

If that does not get the scan to e-mail work try removing and then enabling web services.

WARNING: If you printer has a custom ePrint address, this will cause the printer to lose the address.

Not for 6 months or a year, forever.  It will also wipe the scanning to e-mail settings. Save all email addresses and PIN numbers will be lost.

To remove web services tap the ePrint on your screen printers.

Then, go in the settings submenu and choose Delete the Web Services.

This will bring you to the main menu of printers.

    Press again the ePrint.

You will be asked to activate the web services.

    This is a page.

This can be used to add to your HP printer connected account.

The next step is to configure the scan to e-mail again.

During this process, we will give you a new pin code.

    Test scanning to e-mail.

I hope this helps. If you need other assistance please let me know.

  • Printer Photosmart 7520 claim code

I put my connection hop except that I am out of ink so I can't read the code of the claim.  If not, how can I get that he gets to this process?

    Hi Jenna34,

Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you have run out of Cyan Ink and are unable to read the printer claim code for your printer Photosmart 7520.

No worries because it cannot be found without having to print anything again. Please press the ePrint (pic) icon in the upper left corner of your façade. Once the icon is pressed, you should address ePrint for the printer and probably looks something like [email protected]. The claim code corresponds to the part of the email before the symbol @. Using my example, the email ePrint code would be abc123def456g7.

Please let me know how it goes.

    >... is there a way to solve problems and identify the problem?  I'm on wireless communication ...

My expertise is with printer LaserJet, not inkjet devices;  and I know very little about the problems and wireless protocols.

So I don't thtink I can provide much useful advice about it, sorry.

    > if I have send the document to the printer, it prints perfectly...

I guess by that you are referring to the HP ePrint mechanism.

Still, I'm not familiar with this, but if I understand correctly:

    • You send a document (only certain types are supported) to the e-mail address provided at hpeprint.com
    • Location Server turns your document to an equivalent printer format (i.e. effectively runs through a driver printer residing on this server).
    • Then the printer ready job is sent (not sure of the mechanism) of your device, via your internet router.

So this may use a different driver on your premises and may also use a different route in your printer.

  • HP Photosmart 7520 fails to connect to the WLAN after deactivation/activation

    Nice day

I use HP Photosmart 7520 with wireless connection.

I can print for the first time when the printer connects to the WIFI, but when I turn the printer off and turn it back on, the printer is no longer on the WLAN.

The screen and print network report says that everything is OK - signal strength is good, he is connected, IP address correct, gateway IP ok, everything is correct and very well - but the printer IS NOT on the WLAN. I have used several analytical tools and I did 'ping' and the prnter is not there.

There is a big BUG! How can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

PS: If I want the printer to work again, I have to manually reconnect again to the WLAN

Since the other topic of forum is very polluted, I paste here the relevant solution

Left and right of the screen are a House (upper-left), back (lower-left) and a cancellation (bottom right, it's a red X) buttons.  You may need to use a flashlight to see them because probably they are not lit.

    • -Keys in the original sequence (top left), back (lower left), cancel (bottom right), back (lower-left).  This should bring up the menu engineering.
    • In this menu select Menu Underware.  You will see a display similar to the arrows for a TV remote control (up, left, right, down, arrows with an OK button in the middle).
    • Use the arrow key to the right and go into the system menu (the menu names are displayed in the upper left corner).  Press OK
    • Use the arrow key to the left and go to the system mode timeout.  Press OK
    • Use the down arrow key to set the timeout to 0.  Press OK.
    • Exit by pushing cancel (bright red x in the lower right corner) until you have returned to the home screen.

You can avoid the printer to go into mode 'sleep' and then lose connection. As a consequence will increase energy consumption.

    Hello

    Apologies for jumping!

For the Photosmart 7520, the latest firmware must be installed in order to maintain a connection to Web Services.

The firmware can be installed on any Windows PC via the following link:
