    I have 3 computers I'm trying to connect to an Epson 1400 on a PSUS4 wired print spooler, 2 XP Pro, Vista 1.  One of the XP machines installed with no problem, no error.  The other 2 return the error Disaable Epson Spooler Manager.  I just attributed a new TCP/IP port for the printer using the PSUS4 IP address on the Vista machine, and it works.  On the other machine (connected WiFi - a laptop) XP I can't.

    -Under the select LPR Protocol and for the name of the queue: type L1.  Click Ok, and then click Next and finish.

    Printing from Windows 7 PC print immediately. (No Documents suspended in the spooler on this machine).

    Looked for a setting 'Pause all print jobs in the spooler' but cannot find any setting in the printer software.

    Is there a setting for the spooler somewhere that I can put to allow printing immediately?

    Method 2, interesting... After I stopped and started the spooler, I could print without pauseing Wordpad document, but when I closed and open WordPad and tried to print again, the document could be suspended.

    Method 3 I deleted the printer on PC problem then ran Fixit, then added to the printer, open WordPad, and tried to print again, the document could be suspended. I restarted the PC, but this time, I noticed a message Windows Popup on Equitrac Document Routing Engine has stopped working. This doesn't sound good and I thought it was related to printing so I set up the motor to take no action to anything he was trying to do. Now, I can print without the document being suspended.

    I need to go through a bunch of tests more, but if everything ok after Tuesday, I consider it fixed.
