ERR [KERN] in_arpinput:1232: arp: [some mac] uses my IP 0.0.0.0.

I recently inherited a cRIO-9073.  I don't know what the previous owner has done with her.  When I first put the power, the status light blinked eyes once per second, this indicates that the thing needed to be configured.  I flipped the switch to reset IP, opened MAX and updated to get the thing will appear under remote systems.

Needless to say that (since I write here), the RIO never appears in MAX.

I flipped on the switch console and get the following:

Put in safe mode gives the same behavior.  I am connected to RIO with a crossover cable, my PC has a static IP address (in the 192.168. *. * subnet), and the windows firewall is disabled.  My ideas on how to get the thing appears in MAX so that I can configure DHCP with it, and I've never seen this before "arp" error message.  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hey, Keith W,.

Are you sure you have disabled any firewall on your computer? Make sure that the windows firewall is disabled and any third-party security software that may have a firewall running.

Also, could give you it a try on another computer?

Let me know how it goes!
