I use a laptop Pavilion DV7 64 bit which my Photosmart 6520e is working. I was on Windows 7 but that you have upgraded to Windows 10 in the last 2 months.

Updates Windows told me that attempts to install an update to printer ALALA keep failure. The message I get is "HP - Imaging - printing - HP Photosmart 6520 Series - Null error 08024200 × b" cannot install the update.

So far, I have a solution to this Microsoft after trying various suggestions such as Windows update troubleshooting startup and clean.

  • P70 Nvidia M4000M win 10 refuses to driver to install

Windows Update 10 has several times been impossible to install discrete graphics drivers and it is not available on the Lenovo support site. Every attempt results in the following message is displayed:

    nVidia - Graphics adapter, WDDM1.2 graphics adapter, Graphics adapter, WDDM1.3 WDDM2.0 graphics adapter, other hardware - NVIDIA Quadro M4000M WDDM1.1 - error 08024200 b ×.

In the discrete graphics mode the P70 is stuck with the graphics card using Microsoft Basic.

What problems is I meet if I install the correct driver downloaded from Nvidia site? In my view, that the Nvidia driver file is:

    361.75-Quadro-Grid-Desktop-notebook-win10-64bit-international-WHQL.exe

    Background:

My original factory installation has been made unusable as he finished in a white screen. I think it was a problem of display driver, because I could access the drive shared with my network.

My call to Lenovo as soon as the problem was met with "you must use Lenovo recovery disks, but you can't have them because they are out of stock with no eta." Granted I should have created support of recovery earlier in the process but the "human nature".

I received all the indications of DSperber then reinstalled the OS Win 10 x 64 generic MS ISO downloaded from the MSDN site (Rufus used and a USB key). It is interesting to note that the installation process saved the old 'Windows' and believes that it is Windows 7 (was it because I created the recovery on a Windows 7 key?). I think it's a Windows 7 upgrade my installation. Needless to say, it has no parts of Lenovo in it.

A determined local Lenovo Warranty Service partner than the video card is kaput, so I'm getting a laptop replacement.

On the positive side, the OS is installed on a SSD M2 purchased so I have the option to transfer it on the new computer and there I'm going!

    Hello:

As you know, Windows 10 has made it impossible to hide or ignore updates (or so it seems).

I found this tool from Microsoft that allows you to hide updates that don't work, or mess up your PC if they work, (as a synaptics touchpad update has done on my laptop).

I saved this tool on my PC for use in the future if necessary.

    Hi @bleach-eminem,.

I'd love to help get rid you of the error you see. I suggest you Open the Device Manager and remove the 'unknown' printer you probably see here.

    1. Click on the right arrow next to the following entries to develop and then search for your printer in each list:

  • code error on all updates, 0x8007F117 is listed on the history of the update for all updates.

PC running windows XP pro SP3 questioned. All of the updates fail to microsft update. I ran virus and ware detection (negative) I checked the HARD drive for errors (negative), I tried to install each update individually KB of its own web page and they are still not Mall. I also followed some other measures on the registry files .dll etc...

    Scott,

The 08024200 b × error code means Windows Installer cannot install the update. The 0x8007F117 error code means STATUS_BUILD_TYPE_NOT_DETERMINED, which most likely means that the update cannot determine the necessary information from the registry.

What's next for security/antivirus installed? It's current subscription; has whatever it is detected the last time that the system has been analyzed for the presence of malware?
We use a 3rd party firewall?
Is installed security software that protects the file hosts , such as Spybot Search and Destroy?
Have you installed the latest Version of Windows Installer for XP, Windows Installer 4.5

Given that all of the updates are not installed there is a chance that they are not arriving in their State of origin. Suggest you try manually download,Saveand install 2 of them to determine if the problem is to provide updates or if it is caused by a problem of Windows Installer.
To eliminate 3rd party software as the cause of the issue of delivery, please start thesystem in Mode safe mode with networking.
To access boot options, follow these steps:

    1. Restart your computer and start pressing F8 on your keyboard. On a computer that is configured to start to multiple operating systems, you can press the F8 key when the Boot Menu appears. If you do not press the button F8 often enough, the system will load XP. Then you'll have to stop and start again.
    2. Select Safe Mode with network when the Windows Advanced Options menu appears, and press ENTER.
For Windows XP security update (KB2387149)
Update security for Windows XP (KB2360937)

Once you start the system using the safe mode with networking, download and Save the updates from the links above.
When they're done downloading, close the browser. Now install them one at a time.
I don't know if KB2387149 prompts you to restart the system in Mode safe. If this is the case, restart and allow the system to boot into normal mode of Windows.
Now, install KB2360937, reboot once more, if you are prompted to.

If these 2 updates do not settle, they should have added entries to their setup logs files.
Sometimes Setup logs show precisely where the update fails to install.
They are located in the WINDOWS with newspapers are named KB2387149.log andKB2360937.log .

You can view the last two papers on this topic section or contact Microsoft for assistance to get the updates of security installed.
It will appear that the newspapers are full of errors. Most of them is present in all the of the KB.logs.

    Hi Johnny,

    1. You are able to install some other updates without any problems?
What web browser do you use? If it is Internet Explorer, then which version do you use?

I suggest to try the steps from the link to the following article and check to see if it helps:

You receive the error 0 x 643, error code 0 x 80070643 or updates may be offered again when you try to install the .NET Framework updates when you use Windows Update or Microsoft Updates
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/KB976982

Also, for certificate errors, you can have a look on the link of the article following if you are using Internet Explorer 7 or 8:

    About certificate errors
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/about-certificate-errors (Applicable for Windows XP)

    I hope this helps.

  • Uninstall software update Apple says error in seller contact package package unstaller

Try to get itunes working to make a backup of my faulty iphone before repair.

First-itunes does not start says error. I'm trying to fix it, who said success but same error when you try to start it.

Then uninstall completely worked. Then reinstall that seemed to be over except for a message "an older version of Apple software update already exists" then he went down and install itunes apparently had not been completed.

Then I try to remove the update from the apple software and executed by an error in the installation program - it says there is an error in the installation and contact the supplier of the installation package. Same error if I run the uninstall command line program.

Try to repair the Apple Software Update of programs & features Control Panel and then try to update iTunes again.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

The more information box has direct links with the current and recent if you have problems to download, must revert to an older version or want to try the version of iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) as a workaround for problems with installation or operation, or compatibility with third-party software.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.
