  I added PXI-6704 as a data acquisition device in my system definition file. When I try to deploy it, I get:

  "error-200077 the requested value is not supported for this property value.

  The module has 16 channels voltage (+/-10 v) and 16 current channels (0 - 20ma) so I set in the dialog box "create DAQ hardware" as type MIO with 32 channels AO.

  If I delete the device from the system definition, it will deploy without error.

  Hi PMAC,.

  This error will occur if you do not select the option 'Disable clocked by one-time support for the analog output material' during setup of data acquisition under the definition of your system. I've attached a screenshot of that. The reason you need to activate this box is that the 6704 only supports the clocked by the Analog i/o software, as explained in the manual.

  You will also need to go into the output channels 16-31 and manually change each channel of current Type and the high level of 0.02 and the low level of 0.00. Once configured properly, everything should work fine.

  I have a program I developed in 2009 of LV in 2009 and now I'm updating it.  I accidentally opened in 2010 and registered.  There are Microsoft office tools that have been built in LV 2009 that were deleted in 2010 that I used in my program.  So I had to save it as version previous (2009).  After that everything worked and I could run the code and compile I continued to develop.  At one point, I tried to compile and got an error.

  Possible reasons:

  LabVIEW: The path is empty or a parent. You must use an absolute path.

  Now, I realized that if I add a new VI program, it gives this error.  If I remove the VI, it compiles without error.  If I add a white VI without code, it gives the error.  I worked as much as I could without adding a VI but now I need a pop window and need of the VI.  The code is too big to fit the requirements of 6 MB max.

  When you say compilation, do you mean the press run? When exactly this error?

  I suggest that you try to copy all your screws in a new project and try to launch the new project. It seems that your project have been damaged in the process of updating and re-registration of an earlier version.

  I created a VM 2 R2 W2K8-64 and a teacher-WXP-SP3 on my VM Worstation 7. They work very well. Now, I tried to take this VM 2 our VM Server 2.0.2 where I have more memory on my lapop and to put them in the inventory. Teacher-WXP-SP3 was no problem and works, but housing starts of W2K8 - 64 R2, then I threw the window of browser with an error message: the server could not complete a request (http 12029). After that, I have to restart the host VMWare agent!

  Host system is also a 64 W2K8 R2 with 4 CPUS and 24 GB of memory.

  I cut on the host cpu from 4 to 2 and 8 to 4 GB memory in the vmx file. I also removed the line mem.hotadd = "TRUE", because i ' w as do not know if the server VM 2.0.2 support this...

  No reference to what I am doing wrong?

  You just need a small edit in the file vmx VMserver cannot manage VMs who have enabled the feature of Thinprint.

  I created a test bench, as described in

  It works very well. I can read a write i/o nodes

  But when I insert a control node of read/write (from the palette interface FPGA) in my host-VI to write a value directly to a control on my FPGA VI, I get the error-61499

  The error occurs in the VI on my Hostcomputer ad message is:

  An internal software error on the LabView FPGA Module has occurred. Please contact technical support.

  The error doesn't happen, if I remove the read/write control, or if I do not speak.

  The error does not happen, if I compile the fpga vi and let it run on my fpga hardware. It only happens in simulation mode.

  The error mode simulated when I use the test bench to simulate the input signals, she also happnes, when I use random input signals.

  It seems that the error does not occur when compiling. The slopes of simulated VI and the error occurs only when I call the read/write control.

  Can someone help me?

  OK, the problem is solved, thanks to the support of or who helped me:

  The solution is, do not to have spaces and end of lines in the names of items frontpannel.

  In simulation mode, a host vi has problems to access the elements of the frontpannel of the fpga vi with the read/write node if the façade elements have special characters.

  Could if it please let you me know what software used to create the PDF file. What is the software Acrobat Live Cycle Designer or something else?

  If you have created the file using Live Cycle, then it would be possible that you do not have permission to add the header/footer in the file.

  In addition, check under "file > properties > Security" and check if there is no security on the PDF file.

  I think I solved this problem.

  I have a number of external USB connected, for example, hard drives, webcams, mouse, keyboard etc., devices so I unplugged individual devices until I found that the Error 1014 is more appeared when adding media.  I plugged the other USB devices back in but kept the last disconnected device and can now add media from my miniDV via firewire.

  I don't think we can let off the hook here PE11, since I had no problems with USB so far and each capture freeware program that I tried did not have a video capture problem I had plugged in any USB device.

  Thanks to all who have contributed and I hope this helps other users faced with Error 1014, look at the number of points of view on this discussion after only a few days (~ 300) I don't think I was the only one.

  Note Labview 2012 SP1 installed about 2 weeks ago.,.

  Accident occurred during the compilation of an fpga vi who worked satisfactorally in the past.

  When I restarted and went to the message recomplile "LabVIEW FPGA: an internal software error in the LabVIEW FPGA Module" see attached picture of popup.

  I reinstalled Labview in its entirety and backed out the changes I made to the vi but still get the same message.

  It turns out that the question was in the VI and not of LabView FPGA module as the message may indicate. I created a vacuum vi, cut and pasted items in this from the vi error and recompiled and it ran very well.

  Somehow the vi has been corrupted internally.

Maybe if I deleted as a reboot and additional users it will solve my problems. My updates install OK but I can't run at all system restore.
