Error 1801

Hi all

I seem to have a problem with my VI and when I run it, it displays an error 1801 and the description is the following:

Error 1801: Start value too large.

Possible reasons: Hex (0XFFFFF8F7) duration entered is not an integer multiple of dt. Converted value nearest whole multiple of dt.

I have a VI who acquires the signal with a sampling frequency of 100 Hz and the Treaty. This VI works fine.

However I changed above VI to accpet data from another channel, now 2 channels, two samples taken at 1 kHz and the VI works fine too.

Now I even changed it so that data acquisition acquires two signals at 1 kHz, but a single signal is re-sampled at a lower rate of 100 Hz to work even as first VI. It's this VI which gives me the error mentioned above.

Strange that it gives that error when I re - sample. but not when I ask to sample at lower rate data acquisition. I use some analysis by Wavelet features in ASPT. I have no idea why this error occurs and spent a few days trying things. Can anyone help me please with this.

See you soon,.

JAS

Hi Hillman,

Thanks for the post and sorry for not getting back sooner.

I tried the resampling in the software using resample.vi, but it still gave me the error. I use this signal to detect peaks and wanted to Downsample to make it easier for the detection.vi of waveform peak.

But eventally I finished not resampling and increased bandwidth. This will get rid of the error, but introduced another problem that I cannot sort.

PEAK detection seems to be missing a few pics when the frequency of the signal decreases (i.e. when there is less pics)

The sampling rate is 1000 Hz and the buffer size is 500 all half a second, the data is passed to detector Ridge vi and the width is 350.

This works very well for signals where the vertices are in 60-70 HZ but the rate peaks VI when the signal< 50hz="" and="" it="" misses="" peaks="">

Any ideas what may be hapenning. I have attached the signal + Ridge for reference. The peak is not corealte with a good pic, I thnikn it's because of the width. If I reduce the width, I candetect the pic good but I also detect the second small crest of the signal. Note that this pictur is not a Summit missed, but it's random.

Do not know what to do...

  • small business of HP dc 7700: 1801 bios error after upgrading processor

I upgraded the processor of pentium dual core E5200 @ 2500 Hz. After all biosupdates, I still get the error from the bios 1801 on the revision of the processor. The processor is now set to 2500 Hz, before the updates, it was 1800 Hz as the old processor was. But I can't get the error removed. Suggestions?

added: the system is slow now.

    Hello:

I could run the last update of firmware and see if that fixes the problem.

Microcode update is a complicated business, but I simplified it for you...

Tools you will need... usb flash drive of at least 1 MB in size.

I have attached all the files you need below.  You will need to unzip them into their records.

    1. make the bootable flash drive.  Insert the flash drive into your PC and run sp27608.

2 once the tool formats the flash drive and make it bootable, copy the contents of the folder BACK to the flash drive system.  All the contents of the file, not the file.

3 copy the contents of the file in the folder BACK flash in the usb flash drive.  Once again, just the contents of the file, not the file.

4 restart the computer, press the F9 key and select the USB in the list of bootable devices.

    5. the PC should boot from the USB and will take you to a command prompt.

    6. at the command prompt, type Flashbin.exe and press the Enter key.

7 follow the instructions on the screen to update the firmware.

    Hello:

I'm sure that a Pentium 4 processor 2.8/533/512 will work fine with your current configuration to 95%.

Certainly better than celery.  I even think that the P4 2.4/533/512 would be better than celery 2.8.

But go for the P4 2.8. They should be cheap and abundant.

Just check you get one with the FSB 533 and 512 KB of L2, FSB 800 or 1 MB L2 cache cache, or it won't work.

It's one you need - and the cheapest I could find - buy - it now.

I read and read this post for a few times and I'm not sure it will work on my PC so I have to ask, how to solve '1801 Microcode Update error' in HP Compaq dc7700p Convertible Minitowers I upgraded it with E7200 instead of the original E6300

I am in a position to start and start windows, I don't know is that it works normally or not, I'm just bored with the startup message:

Please HELP and thank you in advance!

    Hello:

You must upgrade the BIOS to version to get rid of the error of microcode, and processor at half the speed of the FSB only works because the update of the BIOS was not written for the E7xxx processors work correctly.

You will need to run this software whenever you enter windows and change the multiplier up.

Or you can run this batch file listed on the bottom of Web page so that it runs automatically.

    http://CrystalMark.info/software/CrystalCPUID/index-e.html

If I were you, I just install an E6700 Conroe and have an update without problem.

You will need to use the BACK base flash because I don't think that there is an update of the BIOS written for W7.

  • Change processor, 1801 - Microcode Patch error.

    Hello world

I changed the processor on my HP SFF 4000 (decommissioning the core 2 duo E7500 to a core 2 duo E6300, I need the E7500 in another computer) and I get this nasty 1801 - Microcode Patch error.

I can press F1 to jump, then computers goes to windows but switches off the power in an emergency a minute later.

I guess I can have Flash my bios, but if someone can lead me to detailed instructions and a download link to a bios that supports the E6300 for my SFF 4000, I would be really grateful!

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello:

You will live by pressing F1 to continue or install a supported processor.

There are no updates BIOS or firmware updates that will add support for the E6300 processor in your PC.

  • How to solve '1801 Microcode Update error' in HP Compaq dc7800 Convertible Minitowers

I have Intel Core 2 Duo 2.93 GHz. My operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate x 64.

    Hello:

The E7500 processor is not supported in the dc7800, reason why you get the error of microcode.

Here is the list of supported processors.

    Intel Core 2 Duo processors:

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 (2.20 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 (2.40 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E4700 (2.6 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 800 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 (2.33 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (2.66 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 (3.0 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 (2.53 GHz, 3 MB cache L2, FSB to 1066 MHz)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 (2.66 GHz, 1066 MHz FSB, L2 cache 3 MB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 (2.66 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8300 (2.83 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 (3.00 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 (3.16 GHz, 6 MB L2 cache, 1333 MHz FSB)

Inter Processor Core 2 Duo E8600 (3.33 GHz, 6 MB L2 Cache, bus front end to 1 333 MHz)

As a long shot, you can try to install the latest firmware update. You must use a bootable USB key with back files in order to run the flashbin.exe command after copying the microcode update files in your USB drive bootable.

I can't support dc7800 site. When you can, choose the 2010 v1.14 firmware update download

If you are unfamiliar with how to make a bootable flash drive, this is a good 'how' of the article with the files you need.

  • HP compaq dc7700 minitowers: Microcode error: no evolutionary device drivers/no pass

I upgraded my HP compaq dc7700 Intel e6400 CPU (2.13 ghz, 1066 MHz front side bus) to the intel e6700 (3.2 ghz, 1066 MHz front side bus) and did a clean install of Windows 10 pro at first boot. I noticed that it gave an error, namely 1801: firmware does not support this CPU or something. I pressed f1 to continue installing Windows, my plan was to install the firmware update later. After Windows has started, I created a bootable USB to install the firmware of the HP drivers and software section. But when I tried to install the firmware update, it didn't work! I just typed in flashbin.exe, as shown in various posts on this forum. It gave this error: "error!" There is no valid drivers on media or three are no evolutionary device in this system. »
So I tried som other options at the start of the installation, three was something like: f8 to activate the increased processor, which basically is what I needed. But when trying to install flashbin.exe, he gave the same exact error, although I didn't have any options before I could type. See all: https://www.dropbox.com/s/q4eo8qqp49gohc9/IMG_20160227_153036.jpg?dl=0 (without pressing f8)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/xw60pryzq30ta4q/IMG_20160227_155457.jpg?DL=0 (with pressing f8, I selected Yes everywhere)

Do I need additional drivers? GPU, mouse, headset, everything worked without having to download anything extra!

If you were able to get to a command prompt and had copied the contents of the firmware flash folder on the drive back, so you could get to a command prompt and run flashbin.exe, then it shouldn't matter.

I helped that another Member of the forum for 3 days to finally get her to work on his dc5700 E7200 (uses the same firmware as the 7700 update).

Here is the discussion.  The firmware update worked after he reinstalled the original processor.

It does for all the Wolfdale E7200-E7600.

No one has ever posted this problem with the Wolfdale E6700, then you are the first I know to try to pass by this.
