  I am running Windows Vista Business 32-bit SP2 OS.

  I got IE9 installed for about 2 years, but the last kb2829530 of security update installs not and gives error 80070057.

  I can't find any information on the internet on this subject.

  I tried many general suggestions on mistakes of update Windows such as disabling services like Windows update and WICKS, cleaning of their files and then turn power on. Nothing seemed to work.

  I tried to uninstall IE9 completely but the uninstall fails with "unknown error."

  I get unknown errors and the system stops.  I just got my computer out of the shop where they had to remove my windows and reinstall and so I'm still working on getting all of my updates.  I am trying to download Service Pack 1, but it failed several times.  I tried the sfc in the admin command prompt and got the message "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files, but could not solve some of them.  I then put the copy%windir%\LOGS\CBS\CBS. Command LOG for sent reports to my office, but he said "the volume, directoryname label or file name syntax is incorrect."  I managed to get the SFCRESULT command works, but the report sent to my office is empty.  I seriously need help with my computer stops telling me to download this update and I would like to get some work.

  I have the same problem that Joe980 wrote about (not being able to update and getting error code 80070057).  I followed all the steps by Martin (support engineer) on 2 April.

  When I got to step 5, the results showed "Protection found corrupt files but was unable to solve some of them."  I continued to step 6.  In step 8, I was see the files on my desktop named 'SFCRESULTS. TXT' (I see this but without the ".") ("TXT" and the folder is empty) and CHECKSUR. JOURNAL (again, I see this less the ".") JOURNAL") here is the contents of this folder:

  You can run (Checksur.exe) system update readiness tool

  Download and run (Checksur.exe) system update readiness tool. After downloading this tool, it runs an ad hoc analysis of inconsistencies that might prevent future maintenance operations.

  In article 947821, scroll down to the "Microsoft Download Center" section, and then click the link to download the update for your operating system preparation tool.

  Once you run the tool check how many errors you get. If you get errors of 10 or more, you will need to perform an in Place Upgrade. You can post the result once you run the tool.

• Player Windows media 80070057 error

  I get an error code C00D11B1, then he said original error 80070057 is impossible to read some files stored, some people play very well. I noticed that a lot of the ones I can't play ripped about 4 years ago. wandering if a driver is up-to-date?

  If the files were torn off by the copy protect music setting enabled in Options of WMP - Rip music, then these WMA files will be protected against copying, which means that they can be played on the same computer where they were torn.

  You can try to upgrade the DRM system, using Internet Explorer to go to http://drmlicense.one.microsoft.com/Indivsite, click on upgrade. If this doesn't help, you may have to re - extract the files, I'm afraid (to ensure that they are not protected again if you do).
