  I need some suggestions on how to implement my iSCSI network

  I habe 2 x power R520 edges with 2 network cards to edge, 4 x PCI Nic and 1 x Dual Port Nic Cards-> network so 8 total

  and an Equallogic PS4100 with 2 controllers and 2 network cards on each controller

  I have 2 Dell switches for my iSCSI network.

  The address of the Equallogic MGMT is 10.10.1.100

  The group IP address is 10.10.1.101 - or should these IP in the iSCSI network

  My iSCSI network should be

  192.168.1.x / 24

  do I need to a single network or do I have to use 2 different networks in order to obtain the failover job.

  I plan 2 or 4 NICs for iSCSI vmkernel traffic - what do you suggest?

  If I use 4 network cards - use 2 vmkernel ports with 2 links and aggregation of links on the switches? Or can I use 4 ports vmkernel and round robin?

  I recommend 2 virtual switches with 2 network cards in each. Multipathing in fixed for each switch if it's an active-passive array and Round Robin if it is an active-active array.

  1 VLAN should be fine.

  MTU = 9000 in all the components of your infrastructure iSCSI (jumbo frames).

  Try to have HA in each part of your infrastructure and you sure you don't have 1 vSwitch connected to the 2 ports on the same HBA and using the same switch...

  If you have the option to make the "fast track" in your switch, do it.

  CHAP authentication more secure, you can (if initiator software, I think that they are, mutual CHAP)

  You don't need chest 2 switches.

  Try to keep your number of VMs distributed among your LUN (to not collapse them with SCSI reservations)

• Move cluster configured with replication SRM and Vsphere

  All,

  We go 2 groups in the near future to achieve a geographical distance between the 2 sites.

  A cluster is equipped with VMware 5.0 replication SRM and vSphere and the other cluster running VMware 5.5 and SRM in combination with replication of vSphere.

  What is the best way to move these clusters, I must stop the replication or interrupt the replication process and are these action to perform on SRM or we need to perform any action on the virtual machine itself?

  I read that a stop is setting the State to not configured including destroy all files in the target directory.

  Does anyone have an experience by physically moving a cluster managed by SRM (and replication of vSphere)

  It seems that EVA communicates very well with the Sra So. now, you need to scan for the SRA in SRM and then try to perform the replication again.   Did you remove the old version before installing a new?

  After uninstalling and re - install them both several times, including resetting devices still not change state.

  Currencies are: DVD-ROM TOSHIBA SD - R6112 (internal)
  TSST corp CD/DVGW SH-S182M peripheral USB (external)

  Both devices worked very well the last time I was on my laptop, 2 days ago.

  I guess I have to delete some registry entries, but without details, I'm not going there!

  To my knowledge a registry problem was detected. This can occur when more than one service is defined for a device, if there is a failure at the opening of the service registry entry, or if the driver name cannot be obtained from the service registry entry.

  As far as I know Microsoft provides these options of solution:

  Click on uninstall and click Scan for hardware changes to load a usable driver.
  Restart the computer using safe mode, and then select last good known Configuration. This cancels the last successful configuration of the registry.

  In addition, you can try to remove the Upperfilters and the LowersFilters of this registry entry:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4 D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

  If it doesn't help then access Device Manager Reinstalls the channel primary and secondary section ATA/ATAPI IDE controller and reboot.

  Well, I just hope that someone who has met these two mistakes will find my dose. It might save a lot of pointless research on the net.

  SYMPTOMS:
  -When you try to open a Silverlight application in your browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE, etc), your browser displays only a white area. When you right click on the white area, you can click on the Silverlight properties.
  -If you try to start "Computer management" by clicking on the 'My Computer' icon and select 'Manage', you get the following error: 'access denied '.

  CAUSE:
  The following errors are usually the result of a bad environment variable. In this case the "windir" environment variable does not work correctly. You can try running the management of the computer to start > run and entering:
  %windir%\system32\mmc.exe/s %windir%\system32\compmgmt.msc

  Notice the between the characters of percentage windir environment variable. If you run the above code, you will probably get an error saying that MMC cannot open the file. Look closely at the path, it's back!

  Another problem may be how you try to install it:

  Your music is on iTunes?  Please convert your file into WAV version using iTunes, and then import that WAV version in the Premiere Elements project using the first elements add Media/files and folders.
