Hiya,

I have Vista on my laptop and have had so much difficulty with him... anyone else have this problem? * L O L * anyway, this Dell don't wake up to * sleep mode * without a hard reboot and when it does I get a blue screen error code. I've read some answers here it might be a hardware or driver issue... but I am really inexperienced regarding the inner workings of a computer. If someone of you can help me I would be delighted!

The referenced error checking indicates memory corruption. This could mean a defective hardware such as memory, or a bad driver.
There are a variety of things you can try to do to determine what is happening.
Consider running chkdsk on all partitions.  Leave complete chkdsk on each partition and see if that helps.
It may be useful to use the driver verifier.  To activate the... Driver Verifier start-> verifier.exe-> OK-> create standard settings-> next-> driver select the names to a list-> next-> sort by provider-> select all other Microsoft drivers-> finish and OK your way out of the dialog box.
Then restart and use the system as you normally and wait for a problem.  In case the system does not completely start after activation of the Verifier, boot mode safe and run driver verifier and tell him to remove the changes.
Wait for an error checking to happen after you have enabled the auditor as described and then download the dump on your SkyDriveand provide a link.
Also consider running SFC/scannow.
If you start in safe mode, do you still feel bugs? What if you do a clean boot, orboot device?

Consider the memory with memtest86 or Windows Memory Diagnostic test. Note that memory that pass the tests isn't necessarily good memory - he not only failed a review.  Examine systematically to eliminate the system RAM - run with a few modules for awhile and see how things are going. Then try the other modules.

Other common suggestions include ensuring drivers are up to date (including video drivers), but also to ensure that you use the latest version of the BIOS.

    When I press F2, windows starts normally, but the faster processor with more cache, actually runs slower than the old processor (Windows experience index falls on the processor). The microcode error continues to appear on each boot.

    I don't think there is a way that error autour and IMO, the specs are incorrect.

    I say this because the processor you have installed is released after the date of the BIOS version installed on your PC.

    If you want to take a gamble, a safe bet would be 650 P4, and they are cheap and plentiful on eBay.

    Here is a comparison of the two processors.  The 650 is still less than 2 watts. Same speed, same cache and same FSB

    Recently, we have replaced a failing in our MD3000i HARD drive. After letting it rebuild, all the disks are again in an optimal state. But the recovery guru still gives this error:

    Since you say that when you look in MDSM all readers are also optimal then you should be able to do a recheck out the recovery guru & have it checked to confirm that all the drives are online & optimal.  If after you run the recheck if the cottage no matter what drive as still having problems, then what I would do is to recheck MDSM & confirm that the drive displayed as failed.  The error normally clears once a car has been replaced but in some cases I see need to run check again to clear the error recovery guru.

  • Windows 7 does not recognize my 3 Seagate external drives but is very good with Western Digital and other sticks USB Flash. Windows Vista will see them.

    My apologies if this is a query repeatedly, but I can't find a job anywhere and he leads me into the wall.

    I have 3 external Seagate hard drives. All 3 range from about 3 years 11 months old, 1 TB - 3 TB of capacity, and I use them all from time to time to back up my media. In the past months, my Dell XPS ceased to recognize them, 95% of the time. Sometimes they will be Plug and Play and be fine, but otherwise the result when I plug them is coming the power light and the whirring disc fortunately but nothing on the laptop. They recognized themselves on my other machines running Vista. All other Flash memory devices are very good.

    I also have a hard drive Western Digital external powered, almost identical, that Plug and play every time.

    I tried all my ports and various cables and adapters. I tried them on other machines and they are very good, it seems to be just with my Dell and the Seagates. It recognizes everything that I plug in there from the iPhone to Flash Drives. It has all the latest drivers and Windows updates.

    When they're not working, they do not appear in the devices, disk management, Explorer or UVCView Manager. When they do, all settings appear to be well. My laptop runs Windows 7 Edition Home Premium with Service Pack 1.

    I assigned each their own letter drive, disabled power management and they are not protected by Word. The drivers are the standard Windows ones, because these devices do not use their own. I have the latest chipset drivers, everything works perfectly and is completely up to date.

    When I run UVCView (when one of them does not work), it is said there is an error autour MaxPacketSize, current externally is set to 9 and it said "ERROR: low peripheral speed require bMaxPacketSize0 = 8" branded error. I don't know if this is a factor? This may explain why it's slower transfer data to my machine that has USB3.0 it does on another machine, it begins at 130 MB/s and falls to 30 in 10 seconds.

    I tried all combinations of power off.

    I activated the network detection.

    I uninstalled all the USB in the Device Manager and reinstalled after the start.

    All 3 discs work instantly in my older Vista laptop runing.

    I am a loss to understand. I'm pulling my hair out and I don't have a lot to lose these days! There must be a setting in my computer or on the Seagates but I checked all the usual places and some of the more irritable areas.

    I'm surprised that the removal of the INFCACHE did not work.  Readers (all external references in fact) were cut at the time, right?  With a reboot after and before you plug anything back?
     
    These instructions really come down to:
     
    Unplug all USB devices other than the keyboard and mouse
    Open C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore
    INFCACHE.1 and rename it INFCACHE.old
    Restart the computer
    Reconnect it (one at a time) each USB device - giving the system about 30 seconds per device to 'catch up '.
     
    If you got on the rest as well your system files are good to go.

    I'm doing what should be a simple CEP with Facelets and Trinidad, but spin to an obstacle, so I thought I'd post here.

    I created a new Web project, select 'none' as the technology of page flow and adding without libraries of tags to the project. As soon as I did this, I'm able to add a new facelets page in my project using the 'all technology' tab on the new gallery. I create the tutorial to 'guess' standard and run - everything works fine.

    Now, let's say I want to change the tutorial to "guess" standard to use Trinidad components instead of the h:inputText that uses the tutorial. I add the Trinidad DURATION 11 library to my project and configure the default renderkit in faces-config. XML (without making any changes to the xhtml files at all) and set the alternative display manager in the web.xml file.

    This is the first question, so I take the renderkit of faces - config.xml and things seem to work OK again.

    What wiki page were you using? http://wiki.Apache.org/MyFaces/Facelets_with_Trinidad?

    Also, make sure that you have to follow (also mentioned in the wiki):
    faces-config. XML

    You don't need to configure any specials to use Facelets with Trinidad. Do not add the FaceletsViewHandler here! But make sure you have the ID of Trinidad RenderKit in this file, like:




    org. Apache.MyFaces.Trinidad.Core

    and

    Web.Xml

    org.apache.myfaces.trinidad.ALTERNATE_VIEW_HANDLER
    com.sun.facelets.FaceletViewHandler

    I get this error whenever I try to run the Setup program on a particular application.

    could not load the dll library c:\documents and owner documents\palm os desktop\userdata.dll.  the specified module could not be found.

    I did a chat with a palm representative session and he could not help.  the application provider is unable to help either.

    just do what you informed and again got the message.  then tried something that I should have last week.  I did a search for the missing .dll file and found in the right folder under palm os.  copied to the appropriate folder and it worked perfectly.

    Last night without any warning my laptop has stopped working. I tried with and without battery, press the button turn off for 20-30 seconds without battery, with battery, without the CC adapter, etc.

    Autour Googling, I found the info the error codes 4 * h means that there is an error with the S3V out.
    There is no code 4Eh 4Eh.

    Just follow codes are available:
    40 h tension S3V is on 3.47V.
    45 h S3Vvoltage is less 3.14V.
    46 h blood S3V is under 3.14V or less when the computer starts up.

    That's all I found online in various forums.

    Are you able to get into the operating system? O If yes try to restore the operating system to the beginning.

    Someone can help me troubleshoot above?
    First of all what does this mean?
    I had a very small Satellite 1800-400 with me running. I was convinced that it was full of viruses so wanted to start all over again with the recovery disk. All I got was this error.

    Previously, I had windows essensials and used Director!

    I had my hard drive empty and reinstalled Windows 7 and some web Toshiba drivers to start all over again!

    I have redownloaded Movie maker and now get this error message "error code window movie maker c945000e.

    He said that I might need to update my video card driver! Problem is that I can't see all downloads for video card on the Satellite L750 download page?

    I have Intel HD 3000 family video card! But since I've started using movie maker my CPU had slowed down somewhat and was part of the reason restore my hard drive! I think I just have too many things in the background!

    I can do the basic CPU features but a guru IT Im not! Can someone help me or explain what I could do to solve the problem in laymens terms!

    After that I will review the outcome of the System File Checker, it shows that there are corrupted files in impossible to remedy Windows and Windows system files. So the next step is no choice for the repair of Windows and if you have a computer of OEM manufacturer I'm afraid that you do not have to have.

    You should ask the manufacturer of your computer to this Windows repair. If they're going to ask you to make a Windows Recovery please backup all your important files, as he'll recover your computer originally manufacture settings.

    And I can see that you can not run the System File Checker and verify the disc because that do not have enough privilege to perform these actions. Now you can try to run the System File Checker and Windows safe mode disc, check

    1. turn off your computer.
    2 turn on the computer and when the POST (Power On Self Test) is completed, press the F8 key until you see Windows advance Options menu.
    3. select Safe Mode, and then press enter two times.
    4. connect to your administrator account.
    5. run the System File Checker, and check the disc.

    May I know the results updating form new account?

    Suggestion 2: Create new user account.

    1. Click Start and select Control Panel.
    2. click on user accounts and family safety.
    3. in respect of user accounts, click Add or remove user accounts.
    4. click on create a new account.
    5. Enter the name of the account. Select the account type: Standard or administrator.
    6. click on create account.

    However, it seems that the guys at Microsoft couldn't t help and that's why it seems that your Windows operating system is really confused until

    If your OS is confused upward then ONLY reinstall new would be really useful and recommended.

    So take your recovery disk and the operating system to restore to the factory settings.
    Then try to update the operating system.

    Hmm in my knowledge, not all CD and DVD are compatible and taken in charge and sometimes could happen that the drive can not read some CD.
    It is not impossible

    Maybe the firmware of the installed disk does contain all the details of manufacturing of CDs and properties and, therefore, the lens of the drive can not calibrate and manage the inserted CD.

    I found in my manual to the user a list of CD and DVD compatible and supported.
    There you should find the different manufacturers that produce a compatible media.
