Error code: 0xC0000005

At the beginning of the collection of files, settings, and programs, the installation stops and I get this error message:
Check the installation sources are accessible.  0xC0000005 error code.    I am running Windows Vista HP 32 bit on HP PC, installation of Windows 7 HP.

PROBLEM SOLVED.     Yesterday, I spent several hours on the phone with a tech Ms.   It solved my problem with the error code: 0xC0000005.   In my case, it was because of the permissions granted or not granted to me.    The permissions were granted to a trusted Source? but never for me as the owner of the PC.   I have configured my PC initially, and I never knew how to change the upper lever permissions.   Technology update permissions to give me total control.   END of the problem.     Has been able to upgrade last night in less than 4 hours.   Unfortunately because the technology had control of my PC I don't have how it changed the permissions, but I do not know another user can help here.  He told me it was in my work/Windows/SMInstaller computer?

    The first number/letter combo is the STOP error code, while the 4 series of numbers/letters below are the parameters (which tell us a bit more - as 0xc0000005 is a memory access error).

    The 0xc0000005 error code means access denied. You could check the permissions for the AOL installation folder and see if you're allowed to it.

    If you are unable to remove it, you may need to look at using 3rd party software removal tool which may help to remove it from your system.

    While this error can be caused by malware infection, it's commonly found when the RAM failed. In all cases, you want to go down the data files before you do anything else. Do this with one of the following methods:

    1 remove the drive and put it in a box of USB drive or use a USB adapter. Attach it to a computer that is running a working XP/Vista/Windows7 installation. Use the work of Windows Explorer to copy the data to the hard drive of the system to the rescue and burn data on cd or dvd. I prefer not to do it if I know the drive is infected because he has a chance to infect your host system. In these cases, I use #2 below.

    Solved. I put in my XP CD and booted from it, press ENTER for a new installation, then to the next option, press 'R' or a repair installation. After he went on his own thing, its up and running again, and all my files/preferences have been saved too. The only thing that was wiped out was my WINDOWS folder, so I just need to download IE8 and updates for XP etc.

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. To interpret it, you must identify which exception has been generated.
