Error: constant string no ending; Code: 800A03F7; Source: Microsoft JScript compilation error

[Moved from the community centre of Participation]

Once connected, 3 Windows script appears on my screen. I've tried the clean boot, but when I went to a normal start, the error will appear again. Help, please.

When I checked again in the msconfig selective startup sound. If the return to normal, the error still occurs. We already have last more time on this, I think that I better reformat this computer. What do you suggest me?

A reformat will solve this problem, but I wouldn't do this just to resolve this minor problem.

You are judged be in selective startup, only because you stopped these unwanted processes to run. There's nothing wrong with selective startup. I have an XP laptop that works to the selective startup for 10 years.

If you get the selective startup with every startup message, click on the "do not show this message again" option. "

Possible, other than msconfig, solutions are (1) begin to guess and uninstall programs that you * could * have created these process or run (2) several programs of malware removal in the hope that one of them will remove this unidentified program.

  • json_SetItems - constant string no ending in IE

    I get the following error in Internet Explorer (firefox works fine).

    Unfinished string constant
    apex_4_0.js line 1
    0 26659 code tank

    I'm continuing IE 8.0, APEX 4.0. I have a function javascript as follows...

    var get = new htmldb_Get(null, $v('pFlowId'), 'APPLICATION_PROCESS=RUNCALC',$v('pFlowStepId') );

         get.add('P0_CLEAR',      $v('P0_CLEAR'));

         //alert( gReturn );
         json_SetItems(gReturn);
         gReturn = null;
    I've traced the error to the use of newline Chr (10). The P0_TAPE element is a Textarea component and a back-end procedure (PL/SQL) generates a string using Chr (10) and returns the value as well as others using the apex_util.json_from_items (). -Works fine in Firefox, but in IE, throw this error on the 3rd call to this routine javasript. -J' tried Chr (13) but no help. -If I replace Chr (10) with say 'X', it works but the display is not what I want. -

    Any thoughts on how to solve this problem?

    Luke

  • Replace the of the CHR (10) and Chr (13) is "\n" in the PLSQL process, then this variable in JS JSON is not broken.

    REPLACE(REPLACE('String with line breaks',CHR(10),'\n'),CHR(13),'\n');

  • Pop-up... Microsoft JScript Compilation error expected '; '.

    I get the previous pop up frequently, especially after my computer has been idle for a while.  I am running Windows 7, Office (home Ed) 2007 and IE 8, although I'm not sure that it is specifically related to IE.  I also received the error above when running Vista and earlier version of Office.  Nobody knows what it means, and more important again, what should I do to make it disappear?  Thank you.

    Hi Ron.6230,

    ·          After installing Windows 7, when exactly you get this message pop up?

    ·          You did it of any material changes or software on the computer before this problem?

    Perform the check and the clean boot if you receive messages pop up. Clean boot will start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs and helps eliminate software conflicts.

    The following link has steps showing how to perform the clean boot: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

    (1) perform the clean boot (check the link to perform the clean boot).

    (2) enable half the services.

    (3) determine if the problem comes back.

    (4) enable half of the startup items.

    (5) determine if the problem comes back.

    (6) repeat the steps above until you find out which program or service is causing the issue

    Note: Please make sure that the computer is configured to start as usual according to step 7 of the article: how to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.

    Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

    Hello

    You can put your system to boot in order to check the issue.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts. This article describes how to solve problems in Windows Vista or Windows 7 by performing a clean boot.

  • Microsoft JScript errors...

    I'm a newbie in the world of computing in general.  I'm a delay in the start of life for things that seem simple to others is quite complicated for me.  I have an Acer laptop which is is already equipped with Windows Vista Home Basic Edition.  I've learned to almost everything I know through trial and error.  While I was faced with most things worked very well (so far).  I was able to download programs such as Itunes, games, etc..  At one point, I was told to download Javascript.  I followed the links provided to download Javascript and everything seemed to work very well.  However, I sometimes get a little Popup that says in the top border 'Microsoft Jscript compilation error' and in the body of the window is that the word "should" and the option to click OK at the bottom. When I click OK, the window disappears a unique moment, but reappears again. I click OK a second time and the window does not reappear.  Now maybe this isn't a problem deal, but it's perhaps... I tried looking up information on the Web JavaScript sites, but I get more confused.  Please help me.  I paid a lot for my laptop as well as the service provider I use.  I can't afford to let a mistake go there may break my computer.  Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello mslinda-tx,.

    Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Community Forum.

    JScript errors can be the result of improper installation of the Java software. Where did you get the download? Do you still have the web address?  Knowing this will greatly help in the troubleshooting process.  First let's get rid of the bad installation.

    Click on 'start '.
    In the field of research at the bottom, type in "programs and features".
    at the top of the menu that a program of the same name appears, click on this
    This will show you what you have installed programs
    Find that say Java or JRE and click on it once to highlight, then click on uninstall at the top of the window.
    and then try to navigate to these sites and see if you still get the error or are asked to install again.
    Internet Explorer has a capacity of java, and you won't have the other stable to navigate to sites causing the error message.
    Please respond with results

    Thank you
    Jonathan

    Ah, Netbeans. Use ecli...

    I want to say is you peut run in a Netbeans cache bug http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=169562 that you should not be since the patch was tagerted to 6.8.
    Try to clear the cache on Clean & Build and see if that is the question.

  • Constant string BD is safe to use a password internal unchangable?

    Hi all

    reasons to restrict access to some of my program ini files, I intend to use the password of the ZIP files coming with the tools of librarians openG and so save these critical files in a ZIP protected archive. Of course, some time when running the initialization of the program I have to give uncompress works the password required to read the contents of these files. Now my question is whether the use of a constant of simple string on the block diagram would be safe enough to use here.

    I tried to find a constant text string in the saved VI file using Notepad ++ test but could not. So far so good. Is there a simple way to get any of the VI file constant string value without using LabVIEW and the opening of the comic (which would of course be PW protected so)? The necessary level of security is really not high, I want to just exclude any obvious loophole that I might not be aware of here.

    Of course - then that ZIP archive remains open for read access at initialization, anyone can read the files from the hard drive. But it would take a number of "criminal intent" I really don't want to guarantee against the application.

    Thanks for the thoughts that anyone could share.

    It depends on your needs.  Looks like you don't need to be impossible to crack you want just a security level.  For this the zip method is probably fine, but keep in mind that the decompress function is as you said, a loophole in there self because the files will be unzipped at any given time.

    Another solution is to write your files in binary form.  If you know the structure of your data you will be able to understand it.  It gets a little pain that you need to update your data type but a def type helps out with that.

    EDIT: to also answer your question, I never could find anything like a string on a block diagram, my analysis constant a VI on the disk.

  • Microsoft JScript runtime error with twisty2a.js in RoboHelp 10

    In my 9 WebHelp Pro RoboHelp project, the twisty2a.js ran perfectly to show all / hide all. The script is located in the root folder, as well as all show and hide all buttons.

    In the last few weeks, I've had my computer replaced and I upgraded to 10 of RoboHelp. I am now running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 with a 64-bit operating system and IE 9.0.8112.16421.

    A few days ago, I opened the project RH9 RH10 in. The conversion seems to go smoothly, with the exception of some strange formatting in my paintings.

    Today, I noticed that display help works, but that you're ever hide everything.

    I tried to open twisty2a.js, which has been configured to use the button ShowHide One method, to check that it is still correct. When I try to open it in RH10, I get a Windows Script Host error:

    Line 58, Char 1, "navigator" is underined, 800A 1391, Microsoft JScript runtime error

    Anyone know if there is a problem with the script, or if it can be a problem of Windows configuration with my new system of RoboHelp?

    Thanks as always for all help

    I think the problem may relate to the "Determine the browser" section in the script (I tried to insert a PNG image, but got an error message ).
