Error HPSU-0004
Hello
I have HP PSC 1500 all-in-One printer/scanner/copier and Windows XP Pro SP3 (all updates).
Since the last update, I have a problem with the software of HP update.
I can't start the update program because I see only a HPSU-0004 error with message to miss a library.
What should I do?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Blazej
@AlanProctor, as shown on the first page States of error as one or more DLLs (libraries) necessary for the utility to update run are missing.
Trattner made a very useful post on how to solve this problem.
1. download the current version of the drivers COMPLETE + applications (only LARGE file) for your printer.
2. start by running the file downloaded in the previous step, until it offers the possibility to install the software (other options might be there, such as "read the Readme file");
3. do NOT click on 'Install', but rather simply exit the Setup (cancel, output,...) - the reason for step 2. above was having just the extract downloaded file in an orderly manner all the files that she (and YOU) would use to further treatment his (and YOUR);
4 locate your disk the installation folder created in step 2. and - under it--the "setup\hpupdate" folder (this should be located somewhere under the TMP or TEMP - folder just run a search/discovery for her, using your search engine of choice);
5. IF (and only if) you have found the HPUPDATE file in the previous step (you will, normally), to continue:
6. in the Windows Control Panel, start the "Add/Remove Programs" applet and - in the list of applications that it presents - search for "HP Update."
7 remove the HP update application as you would for any other application (the uninstall process might end up with some file not found errors - what is normal in this case, we already know that some files are missing, or wrong pointed to, as noted earlier in this text).
8. now go to the setup\hpupdate folder, located in step 5. above and run (double-click on) the only MSI fie found that it contains (this will reinstall the downloaded version of the HP update utility);
9 completion of Installation (previous step), run the newly installed, HP update utility to find other updates both for himself (you might not have the most recent version) and for any other application from HP that can reside on your hard drives.
10. This completes the process; Good luck

I get this error message - "the application has failed for lack of software library. You may need to reinstall the application again. HPSU-0004
What is and how to fix it?
This error means that your HP update program is watered.
Start by downloading the HP update program (sp34261.exe) on the HP site (Google it fo find location).
Then go to Add/rremove programs and remove the HP Update program. You can get errors because we know that the program is watered.
Then, run the HP update (sp34261.exe).

I get error 19A 0004 OXC on my HP C309a... what the hell do to fix?
These errors 0 x are the internal States of material error indicators in the printer. Often, they mention the printer ink system. Have you tried power cycling the device to see if the error clears or remains?
Thus, there is a document with steps to help solve these types of error codes that can be found here. Let me know how it goes.

HP Designjet 5500: Random Error Messages
This image occurs in the course of employment. We see very briefly (2-3 seconds) at random times.
Then, this image occurs after the machine beeps. Sometimes (about 25% of the time) this will disappear and the print job will resume after a minute or two. Until repeat error messages.
This image will be the other 75% of the time and I have to restart the printer, unload and reload the paper, and restart the print job (very long)
Please help me. I don't know if I've included enough information, but please do not hesitate to ask me, you need to know to solve this problem.
For the last error of repair:
System error: 0d 0004 xxxxxxxx (no-no blocking)
Problem
Description:
This is a general error code that may appear in the
The print head alignment process. The probability of this error that appears is
less than 0.5% and there is nothing wrong with the printer.
Corrective action: Re-start of the printer and the error code should not reappear. For the first two, that you want to check to make sure that the tube Assembly on the left side is in place. Remove all ink tanks, then open the back cover on the left side. The sheath is held in place by 3 levers are compatible with slot machines Assembly completely pushed to the front of the printer. Make sure that this is the case. You will also want to gently clean the small copper color inside the empty cartridge chip. Just use a Publix moistened with alcohol. If this does not help, I would buy another cartridge of black ink. It is also possible that the ink cartridge error is what is interfering with the print head alignment process, so the first fixing problem will fix all the problems.

I'm not able to run the HP update to search for the latest drivers for the printer. Message says: "the request failed for lack of software library. The application will exit. HPSU-0004» I tried to reinstall and still the same error message. I am running Windows 7 on a laptop from Sony.
To start sounds like it is a driver problem. I want to start to be sure that deleting the software and relocation happened in the best way possible. I want you to follow my steps, I can be sure that we start both on the same page. -
HP 7510 all in one will not update
In the public services section of the software that came with my printer is a button called "HP Update". I guess it's to update the machine with the latest drivers, etc.. When I press the button I get an error message telling me the following
"The request has failed for lack of software library. You may need to reinstall the application again. The application will exit HPSU-0004»
I tried to update from the original disk, but I can't because the software is already installed and will not uninstall as far as I can see. I was unable to find anything on the support section of the HP Web site. All tips would be appreciated.
Hello
Thank you for your response. I was able to overcome that now. I put the laptop, just as I had become bored with the whole bloody thing, but this morning I tried again to remove the HP Update program and this time it did delete. I just installed again from the disc, and now everything's fine. Thanks again.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.
Method 1:
Download the DirectX from the Microsoft Web site and then try to install it on the system. Click on the link below.
Use DirectX Runtimes (August 2009)
Method 2:
I suggest you try a SFC scan. Follow the steps to perform a scan of the SFC.
1. click on the Start button
2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories
3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option
4. in the menu that appears, click on the option "Run as Administrator"
5. If you have the User Account Control (UAC) enabled, you will be asked permission before the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow , and then press enter
7. a message will appear stating that "the system of scanning will start"
8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your XP CD for this process to continue
10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
11. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.
For more details, see the article mentioned below.

Thanks a lot guys.Hi PaulMazor,
Well first of all, btwapi.dll is a process no system developed by Bluetooth. If you go on your computer, try to disable Bluetooth by going to network and Internet or however your wireless interface is configured on your computer. If you don't have Bluetooth on your computer, try to uninstall it. go to start > Control Panel > programs > uninstall programs > scroll down and uninstall. My last suggesting opens upward, the Windows Task Manager (press ctrl + alt + delete and release). Go to processes and disable the application there. Other that that, I can't help you any further.Good luckDJ -

Hello
· http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/932520
On a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer, the Microsoft ISATAP map appears with a yellow exclamation mark next to it in Device Manager, and you also receive an error message
Windows cannot load driver (Code 31)
You can ignore this error message. This error message does not indicate a problem with the adapter. The adapter will continue to function correctly.

David,
The session ID is generated by the switch then is sent to ISE in the access-request packet. What version of ISE are you on? You can upgrade to ise 1.1.2 because there some difficulties related to the writings of the session. I'm fighting a simliar issue that you said out there, but on the side of posturing. Hope the upgrade solves this problem for you. If you want to set a new session id, you can go to ISE and issue a certificate of authenticity (the session stop) or just bounce the port.
Thank you

Hello
Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community forum. I understand that you get the error code 43. I would like to help solve you the problem.
Before troubleshooting, provide us with information.
1. What is the brand and model of the computer?
2. what security software is installed?
3. do you have any attached external devices?
4. when exactly you get this error?
Windows code 43 error is an error that is specific to the Windows Device Manager and clearly indicates that there are errors with the pilot of the offending device and you may not be able to run the driver correctly. Most of the time, a code 43 error due to errors reported by the driver itself by saying that this error is a software problem, for example, corruption or a misconfiguration of some pilots.
You can try to remove all devices from your PC and adding them one at a time to see which device it is back.
Device, I mean any material (such as external hard drives, USB devices, etc.) next keyboard, mouse and monitor and then uninstall the "unknown device" to see if it reappears.
Method 1: update Windows.
Visit the following Microsoft Web site to see if the auto Web site detects a driver updated to your device. Install all recommended drivers: http://www.windowsupdate.com
Method 2. Uninstall and reinstall the driver in Device Manager. Here are the links:
Download and install the latest drivers for chipset for the computer from the manufacturer's website because they also include the USB Drivers.
Update a hardware driver that is not working properly: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work properly
Automatically get recommended drivers and updates for your hardware
Method 3: Run the troubleshooter to solve hardware problems or unknown device:
Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Open-the-Hardware-and-Devices-troubleshooter
For more information: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc725873(v=WS.10).aspx
