    Hello

    1. Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
    2. What antivirus application do you use?

I suggest you try these methods and check the status of the issue.

    Method 1:

Keep the computer in a clean boot and check the status of the issue. If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem. Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service. After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

Note: Please go up to step 7 of the Kb to maintain the computer to a normal startup after you fix the problem

    Method 2:

I would suggest trying the following steps and check the status of the question.

    a. open Internet explorer.

    b. click on tools, then on Internet options.

    c. click on the Connections tab.

    d. click on LAN settings.

    e. uncheck the option use a proxy server for your LAN .

    f. save the changes by clicking on apply and ok.

    Method 3:

Configure Internet Explorer to disable simplified HTTP error messages and check the status of the issue.

    a. on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

    b. on the Advanced tab, in the browsing section, disable friendly HTTP error messages display check box and then click OK.

    c. close Internet Explorer.

    d. restart Internet explorer and check the status of the issue.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded
on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is
Poster: load address of the driver, description, version, product name,.
company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit Maker as replacements and system manufacturer of device which are
the most recent. Control Panel - write - graphics card - device manager
the brand and complete model of your video card - double click - tab of the driver-
Note the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing
MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers
    you have.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restore)
and site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get the manufacturer and device
their latest versions. (Look for the system to update the BIOS, Chipset and software updates
    Site of the manufacturer here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
    REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are
installation actually appears. This is because that some rollback of drivers before the
later is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot.
Make sure that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW to the device makers DO NOT RUN THEIR
SCANNER - check manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using
the above methods is preferable to ensure the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system
    and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable driver facilities
in the updates of Windows, which leaves on Windows updates, but it will not be installed
pilots who are generally older and cause problems. If updates provides a new
driver then hide it (right click on it) and then go get new ones manually if
    you want.

  • C# 2008 - unregistered control error TestStand2012 ActiveX on Win7 64 bit OS

    Hi all

I hope someone can help with pointing me in the right direction.

I have a c# 2008 TestStand2010 ActiveX control (on the form) application. It is originally created in Windows XP, 32 bit and it works fine.

Now, I try to take the program to another PC with Win7 64 bit and TestStand2012.

I recompiled already successfully the solution with TS2012 on Win7 64 bit OS and I put "Any CPU" configuration manager "x 86". But when I'm debugging or running the program, I always have an exception ' class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0 x 80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).

When I remove the TestStand ActiveX control on the form, the program works very well. So I was wondering, if TestStand2012 is available for 64-bit? I have install TS2012 directly from the CD. Is there another TS 2012 special package for 64-bit? or the CD version is 32-bit and 64-bit?

If nothing wrong with the software, I missed something in the settings of c# language? Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thank you and have a nice day.

    I already have.

He now works then? This should work if you have set to x 86 platform. There must be a problem with the way you set the platform. Look at the example of c# UI project. It already does. Maybe you do not run the executable right. The exe file is built in a different directory for each default platform.

  • 6.5 on Win7 64 bit can't open GE 90-30 ethernet port

"Connection error: name unknown port specified."

Object has been properly on 32-bit operating system.  Now does not not under WIn7 64-bit.

    Series 90-30, Ethernet.

    Help!

It turns out that it had nothing to do with the OS is 64-bit or 32-bit.

However, there seems to be a bug in the GE 90 series driver object.

If the system is double hosted on two different subnets, the object cannot find the controller without first disabling the network card on the subnet that does not contain the purpose of GE 90 series.

I have encountered this problem before, but has never been able to determine the cause so far.

I expect the problem come back when I have reactivated the adapter of the other subnet, but the object or the lookout must somehow remember how he finds the PLC address and it seems to work properly after the initial connection is successful, regardless of the status double adapter hosted.
