  I use FM9 to work everyday since its release. I didn't 9004 errors until yesterday morning. The error message and FM9 closes when the program is a few seconds in the opening process, when the localization progress bar has moved about 1/3 of the way.   As a temporary workaround, IT set up my PC with a virtual machine, and we have installed FM9 on it.

  It works, but it's too heavy for long term use.

  HE said that the creation of a new username would work, but because of the way our internal network is set up, this isn't an option for me.

  The preliminary conclusion is that I have a program on this PC which interferes with FM9.

  When HE looked at my recent updates, there is none for the few days before this problem started.

  HE plans to give me a new hard drive with Windows 7, which means that I have to uninstall and reinstall everything from one hard drive to another, redo all my preferences, etc. Any suggestions on what to try before doing this? My concern is that since I need to reinstall 100% of the programs on my current hard drive to the new, is that I get the same error.

  You probably have a corrupt file of Linguistics - I seem to of the other threads of this mistake to mention FM right at startup. When you rename the file & restart FM must recreate & reset

  Can you please try to install Adobe Application Manager of http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774.

  If this does not work then the safest course would be to remove all Adobe Creative Software using the uninstaller programs located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.  This should then remove the Adobe Application Manager folder also within public services.  Once the software is completely uninstalled and Adobe Application Manager is deleted, then you should be able to reinstall it from https://creative.adobe.com/.

  This may occur if the print spooler requires other services, and these services are not running. To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
   
  1. in Services, right-click on print spooler and then click Properties.
  
  2. click the Dependencies tab. The first box list all system services that must work for the print spooler start. These are dependencies.
  
  3 make a note of each service, click OK, and restart each service on which the print spooler is dependent, if the service is not already started. If a service is not started, right-click, click Properties, and then make sure that the startup type is automatic.

  Could be a permissions problem. Try to create a new admin-level Mac user account and see if that helps.

  1. go in the Add/Remove Programs list and see if market research is listed in the list of installed applications. If so, uninstall it and see if that solves your printing problem.

  2. in case the suggestion above does not work, Uninstall the drivers currently installed for your printer and reinstall. See if it works.
