Error message Spooler SubSystem App
Hi - my computer has received an automatic update from Microsoft some time this morning and now I get the following message appears and cannot print: "Spooler SubSystem App has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. "I'm lost as how to solve this problem. Can you help me?
See how it works:
We are going to stop the Print Spooler Service and delete any backup up/stuck/in waiting it for print jobs and restart the Print Spooler Service.
To clear the print queue, stop the print spooler service and delete all the pending print files.
You cannot delete all print jobs in the queue so that the Print Spooler Service is running.
To stop the Print Spooler Service, click Start, run and enter in the box:
services.msc
Click OK to open the Services Applet.
Locate the Print Spooler Service, right click and choose 'Properties' and then click on the "Stop" button to stop the Print Spooler Service is running.
The option "Startup Type" of Service properties print spooler is usually set to "Automatic" (which is now a good time to check it out).
If the "Startup type" is not set to "Automatic", set the "Startup type" to "Automatic" If that is your desire (which now is the time to check it out).
Do not try to start or restart the Print Spooler Service again...
Then, delete all updates pending upward and forward to printing from XP. If they do not print before, you will need to send the to the printer again.
Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
Delete all the print jobs in queue (select and delete all the files) in the folder if the folder is without waiting for print jobs. The folder must be empty when you are finished.
Reboot your system and check the Print Spooler Service again to make sure the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically restart (given that the startup type is set to automatic).
After the reboot, check again the spooler service for printing and the 'Status' column for the print spooler must be read "started."
Submit new failure of print jobs.

Hello
Your printer drivers have become probably either damaged or defective. Remove them and install a new download of the manufacturer of the printer. Good luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Crazy" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Windows help - www.rickrogers.org

I have windows xp svc pack 3. I have 2 printers hp psc 2410, samsung ml2010. I've never had a problem until recently, and now I get 2 messages all the time... the spooler subsystem app has a problem and needs to close and... .instructions @ 0x0041003d referenced memory @ 0x0041003d memory could not be read. Whenever I try to print my computer crashes. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the two printers. no luck. I tried mrfixit and when it comes to the printer part, mrfixit seems stuck in a loop and it is doing nothing more than an hour. no luck. I paid for norton antivirus, thinking it was a virus. no change. paid for advanced system optimizer. no change. Now that?

Error in the Spooler subsystem App 0x000006ba
Found this same problem on answers back in 2010.
My OS is Windows Vista Ultimate 64.
Do not have this problem in the 2 years of the life of this PC.
Try printing and Spooler subsystem App error 0x000006ba. Error of Job Status window Interface also.
Worked on the resolution of this problem for more than 7 days.
The Lexmark printer is connected to the wireless router.
PC n ° 1 with this problem is connected to a Lexmark printer by USB and to the router by cable.
PC #2 is connected to the router via cable and can print on Lexmark without any problem.
PC #3 and #4 PC is wireless to the router and can print on Lexmark without any problem.
I have uninstalled and installed the software Lexmark times more than I can count. After the uninstallation ran I used search and remove related files from Lexmark.
All PC #1 and Lexmark drivers are up-to-date. Latest firmware in the Lexmark. I restored the factory default Lexmark printer.
All Windows updates have been checked twice a day and all the new updates installed.
I ran difficulty he printer Microsoft and test files. Test the printer shows no problems spooler. File test found problems once, then no more after that.
The Lexmark printer icon sometimes disappears from the printer configuration Page.
After the attempt to print and get the spooler error, the printer indicates a job pending. I can not cancel this job and it connects the printer so that other computers can not print with current work on PC #1. Sometimes I stop PC #1 pending work disappeared. Other times, he is not missing.
I searched the web looking for a solution and all Microsoft. Nothing works.
Heeelllllllpppppp!

If the above didn't help:
Use this method to clear the spooler and then uninstall and reinstall your printer (check with the manufacturer for)
the latest driver).Check Mr. Fixits here and if you use the other methods go back and try again later.

More happy salvation,
1. were you able to use the printer before without any problem?
2. when the problem started?
3. you remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?
