Error occurring-re: application to 0x001a624b svchost.exe error

I get this error message:

problem svchost.exe application to the 0x001a624b error

If I kill the program I can't open anything. Choose Debug does not either; nothing happens, but I can always open programs. The error message is displayed after a certain time once I have press cancel. Restart in safe mode to freeze after a minute before the start screen.

I tried this:

http://www.pchell.com/support/svchosterror.shtml

But it does not work. So, I tried a system restore. Has no when it does not restart correctly. Also I can not access the internet and I was led to believe that the card has been uninstalled on the motherboard because of any deleted graphics card nvidia card. I don't know if that's true, but I lose the internet after that happened.

In summary:

Crashes in Mode safe

Re-occuring svchost.exe error

No internet!

Cannot restart properly

Cannot do the system restore.

Any ideas what I could do? If there is nothing so how could I go about upgrading to a new OS?

Run Malwarebytes in safe mode as suggested.

Hello Scott, I did some research on this and found this site, don't know if they fixed the problem is related to your but you can see if the process will help. I found this on PC * Web site:

    http://www.pchell.com/support/svchosterror.shtml

I'll do some looking and see what I can find.

It is permanently associated with a start-up program, I would like to go in safe mode after you start in Windows, go to start then run and type msconfig. Once in the config window go to the Startup tab and uncheck all the boxes that are not essential to the system. You do not uncheck anti-virus or your spyware / malware removal software. If the system starts fine then go back to msconfig and start checking one box at a time until you get the error again. The last program box checked is the culprit and should be removed and put back in place.

    Hope this helps, Jim

    Hi GeorgeMotaung,

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         Are you able to boot to the desktop?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Start your computer in last known good configuration.

How to start your computer by using last good known Windows XP Configuration

    Method 2: Follow these steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode and check if the problem persists.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

Step 2: Perform a clean boot to see if there is a conflict of software like the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting steps, follow section How to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state of the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

After the clean boot used to resolve the problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    (a) click Start and then click Run.

    (b) type msconfig and click OK.

    (c) the System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    (d) click the general tab, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.

    (e) when you are prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

  • At startup I get this error Message = "error in svchost.exe - application instruction to memory 0x7c919af2 who 0x00000010.the memory could not be written."

Svchost.exe - application error the instruction at 0x7c919af2 memory 0x00000010.the memory that could not be written.

What should I do about it?

You don't need to "try" things - you need to "do" things:

It seems that the last update for Windows Media Player may contribute to this problem when the system has the Windows Driver Foundation Service active and running.

Unless you write your own drivers for XP and using the Windows Driver Foundation Service to help you debug, you should disable the WDF Service.

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    services.msc

Click OK to launch the Services Applet

Locate the Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework Service, right-click right the Service, select properties and choose disabled and OK your way out of the Services Applet to save the changes.

Note that you will not be able to 'Stop' Service first, but it's OK.

Restart your system (the WDF service is now disabled) and check your failure condition now.

    1. download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe
