HP laptop G72: ArcSoft Connect Daemon?
Whenever I start my laptop, I get a pop up saying that arcsoft Connect Daemon stop working... I don't know what this program, what it does, or anything like that. Is this something that I can uninstall or disable? If so, I have tried locating the program and did not succeed. Is there an overview that you can give me?
Thank you, Tim.t_christensen91 wrote:

"Remote Desktop connection has stopped working" problem on Windows 7.
When I try to connect to one of my Windows 2003 servers from my Windows 7 Ultimate pc, I get an error:
"Remote Desktop connection has stopped working". It has something to do with the NLAapi.dll. If I rename this dll, TS works very well. I used the dll from another computer running Windows 7 RC and it works too, but in one of these two cases, while it corrects the TS connection, it causes other errors, maily with the network and sharing Center. Long story short, I think that there is a bug with nlaapi.dll. I can connect properly to my boxes of Windows XP SP3 servers. I ran all the updates on my 2 k 3 box, but still does not work. Here is the log of the event viewer:

Original title: get rid of a software box that says (Arcsoft Connect Daemon has stopped working). Keep on appearing__on from my laptop. ___
My laptop, age 6 to 7 months running Windows 7, it came with Arcsoft requests to make greeting cards, albums Scrapbook etc.on a 6 month trial I have not tried.2 weeks ago, this box appeared - to the trial period is up and keeps popping up whenever I turned on my PC. I thought uninstall these software will solve the problem, but I was told 'the Installshield engine could not be started. Without this interface taken in charge. I then tried "recovery" back to a point of restoration 2 weeks ago. However, recovery was completed without success due to an error. I repeated the process with a week of 3 restore point but also failed. I think that MS calls this Appcrash. The next step would be to advanced recovery, but I'm not sufficiently confident to do it and the problem is only the latter.
HelloArcSoft is a suite of programs to support management. ArcSoft Connect is used to connect online (updates, new goodies etc.). It would be strange if you "Connect" without any of their products, then you want to uninstall those first, if they existIn order to eliminate that your computer allows you to try these methods.Method 1:If it is installed in C:\Program Files, you can uninstall using programs and features.Do follow the link provided below.Uninstall or change a program
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/uninstall-or-change-a-program
Method 2:Try disabling Services "ArcSoft Connect Daemon" service before you start. To do that you must follow these steps:1. click on the Start button.
2. type services.msc in the search field.
3. now, look for the "ArcSoft Connect Daemon" service and right-click on it and select Disable. Now, restart the computer and check if the problem is resolved.Method 3:If the method above doesn't resolve the problem, you can try to download the Windows install cleanup and install it on your computer and try to remove the arcsoft program and check the issue. For this you need to follow the links below.Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility

For cleaning and installation you can go to the link mentioned below:

iTune cannot be started on Win 7 after recent update with error message "Push Apple has stopped working"
For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review other cases and a list of documents to support further down the page, in which case one of them applies.
More information area has direct links with the current and recent if you have problems to download, need to revert to a previous version or try the version iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for old video cards) as a workaround for the problems of performance or compatibility with third-party software.
Your library must be affected by these measures, but it is also related to backup and recovery advice if necessary.

Error message "Com Surrogate has stopped working"
Original title: popup Windows Com Surrogate has stopped working? What dose that mean? Also computer very slow suggestions?
This popup comes in at any time and have noticed the computer has been running for extremelyslow. Also Windows will open programs without asking for confirmation. When I run analysis said updates I'm uptodate and the functioning of the system. Any suggestions?
Hello
Com Surrogate has stopped working:
Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?
Start the computer in safe mode and see if the problem persists. If the issue is not perist in safe mode, and then put the computer to boot and see if the problem still occurs.Step 1: Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.
Step 2: to help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
Note: follow step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.
Computer running extremely slow:
Perform the steps in the article mentioned below and check if the problem persists.
