Error on startup - "Run DLL there was a problem starting C:\PROGRA~2\jb4of4.dss. Access is denied. »

Original title - DLL execution

Hello

I get the following message is displayed at the start of Windows 7:
Run the DLL THAT there was a problem from C:\PROGRA~2\jb4of4.dss.  Access is denied.
Can anyone help with this?  What should I do?
Kind regards
A

Hello once again, this problem seems to have disappeared.  It was not caused by a new software or equipment and I had not changed anything with the system.  I did nothing to try to resolve the problem and he started just before I asked for help.  I have no idea what jb4of4.dss is or could be- or if she is still there.

I do a Windows update yesterday, but I thought that the problem was still there after that.  However, today the error message did not appear.
Thanks a lot to BossDweebe and XP ROCKS! to show interest to help him.
Kind regards
AntVH

    Hello MaureenCYB,

    Thank you for the question!

I'm sorry to know that have problems you with the startup message. As I understand it, you get an error message "Run DLL there was a problem starting C:\users\Maureen\AppData\Local\Temp\ the specified module could not be found" when starting.

I need to ask you a question to help you best.

Were there any changes (hardware or software) to the computer before the show?

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Note: follow step 3 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

Answer to us if you are having problems with error starting or any other issue of Windows, and I'd be happy to help you again and try to correct the problem as soon as possible.

    Good day!

    Hope this information helps.

See JW Stuart's response to you.

Also note that a format of low-lever has noting to do with any version of
Windows. It's a hardware problem, not a a Windows. And it must never
be done on any modern hard drive; It would destroy the disc.

The error msg box provides an OK button. After clicking this button, everything seems to work well.

FYI, I use AVG Virus Protection program. I did a system restore to a date before when I think that this problem started. No luck there.

I suspect some malicious programs hiding somewhere and part of it may have been removed by AVG, but not all.  Anyone know what program calls for this file? How can I get rid of this problem?   Any suggestions would be welcome.

Disabled under msconfig.exe startup items are moved to this location in the registry:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Tools\MSConfig
To permanently delete, you can delete the key relevant to this place. Method of the prudent man will like so:
    1. Burn a CD of Windows repair. Everyone who makes his own PC must have a maintenance.
    2. Create a System Restore Point.
    3. Start the computer with the CD in repair and check if the above Restore Point is visible.
    4. Start normally.
    5. Remove the offending registry key.

This program will show you what's running at startup on your computer. You should be able to track down what exactly tries to run that cause you the problem.

You don't want in this file.  Ads by Call Builder is malware that opens the ads on your computer.  If you encounter this error, then it is likely that you have an antivirus/antimalware program which was removed from your computer, but left the startup item.  More information on Call Builder, and how to remove can be found here.

To remove this item from your startup list, follow these steps:

    System (Windows 7) Configuration utility

    1. In the start search box, type MSCONFIG and press ENTER.
    2. Click the Startup tab.
    3. Uncheck the items you want to run at startup.
    4. When you have finished your selections, click OK.
    5. In the box that appears, click on restart to restart your computer.

My new printer works fine, just do this nnoying message whenever I start.

I am confused why this would not appear in Task Manager startup programs if it opens at startup. Let's try another method of attack:

    1. press on the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.

    2. in the field open, type %AppData% , and then press enter.

    3. go to Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > programs > Startup.

    4. look for anything that has to do with "ink monitor alert" and delete it.
