error on the application running on the playbook

Hello

I built an application using phonegap, what I have running on other devices, but I built a .bar file and I get the following error when you try to install the application

failure of 821 request-requires-system: System name not recognized 'BlackBerry 10'

Ive been looking for oonline and in some forums but I can't seem to find an answer to this question.

It seems that the BAR file was built for 10 BlackBerry which is a different architecture than the OS of the PlayBook.

There is here a guide which describes the process of generation for PlayBook:
http://docs.PhoneGap.com/en/2.3.0/guide_getting-started_blackberry_index.MD.html

Specifically, you must use the Tablet OS SDK, not the BlackBerry 10 SDK.

  • Logging of the PlayBook errors

Is there a way I can see trace connects the physical device of the Playbook?

I came back to an application after a few weeks to see that when it unfolds in developer mode, it just hangs. I tried debugging, but who does not work for me at the moment for some reason any (using FDT - but this is something else), so it would be nice if I could draw some things to see where the problem lies.

I've not bothered with the Simulator (is not done for some time) that the application relies on the features, it supports not - but I may have to see if it at least shows the error. I was just trying to do not have to configure again for the latest SDK and be able to see the trail connects the device would be extremely useful.

All output stdout from the application, which includes the trace() output, goes in a file in the folder of sandbox the application under logs/air-route.  You can see that several ways.

    1. SSH into the Tablet, cd to the application folder, then in the logs subfolder and type "tail-f air-track" after the launch of the app.  You'll see the output in near real-time as it is written in the file.  If you do this before you run it, the program 'tail' will not see the recently opened log file so you will see only the last few lines since the content of the previous file.

    2. same as above, but use "cat air-track" or "less air-trace" after operation and exit the application.  This works even if you have run the app a day ago and want to see what he wrote in the file at the time.

Options above require that you first run 'blackberry-connect' to open the necessary port on the PlayBook so he will listen to the SSH connection. The following option does not require this step

3 transfer the file to your PC using the "-getFile ' option on blackberry - deploy the command should look like this

blackberry-deploy -package MYAPP.bar -device PBIP -password PBPASS -getFile logs/air-trace myapp.lo

After that, you will find the air-trace file in your local phone book under the name of myapp.log

    Bill

    Hello DragonBill,

Thank you for visiting the website of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.

Regarding your question, the most common cause of the error is an abundance of. SHD and. Files in the directory of spool SPL.  These files are created by the spooler to save data delayed a print job.  The. SPL file contains the drawing commands and the. SHD file contains information of working parameters the print job.

To try to correct the application spoolsv.exe error, you must remove these files from the system.  To do this, perform the following steps on your Windows Vista computer:

    1. open the Control Panel, select Classic view, select Administrative Tools and then select Services .

    2. in the Services management console, find the Spooler service, right-click on it and select stop.

    3. then open the folder C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Printers .  (Here, we assume that your Windows is installed in the default C:\Windows folder)

    4. delete all the . SHD and SPL files in this folder.

    5. then open the TMP folder and delete all the old, unused files in this folder.

    6. Finally, restart the spooler from the Services management console service.

Important note: If you are unable to delete the files in Normal Mode, then you may have to restart your computer in Mode safe to delete files.  To start your PC in safe mode, press F8 when the system restarts, and then select the Mode option safe mode from the Windows Advanced Options Menu.

If deleting the files do not straighten out the problem, you must perform a system restore and restore your system to the times before when the error started appearing on your computer.  A.m. run the restoration of the system, open Start, all programs, Accessories, System Tools , and then select the System restore option.  On the Welcome to system restore screen, select the restore my computer to a time option earlier and select Next.  In the Select Restore Point screen, select the date that represents the restore point to which you want to restore your computer back, and then select Next.  Finally, check and then click Next again to confirm your restore point and restore of the system.  Restart your computer when you are prompted, and then press OK to close the end of System Restore screen.

It is important that you know that application errors can also occur because of virus or spyware infections.  In fact, the Spoolsv.exe process is also a known backdoor vulnerability which can be planted on your computer for malicious purposes by an attacker.  Therefore, if you see an unknown process running on your system, you must take appropriate measures to remove them.

Let us know if these steps solve your problem.  I hope the information is useful.

    Kind regards

  • Error initializing the application. It seems that corrupt ntdll.dll error

I installed Autocad 2010 64 bit on my new Dell Vista Home premium 64-bit OS. Worked like a charm. I installed a piece of trial software that I ended up uninstalling a day later (also of Autodesk). I can no longer launch Autocad... error initializing and it points to the ntdll.dll error. I have uninstalled and installed the software several times with information about the Autodesk site and the result is the same. The application installs perfectly, but will not start due to the error of initialization of the.
Now, I installed another package of drafting and the result is the same... and the error is the same, even if it is not the same software.
I ran SFC/scannow and the journal reports there is little files that can not be repaired.
I run the DVD of Vista and tried a repair, although I can't find a ntdll.ll replacement and I don't seem to be able to change it if I could.
Is a complete operating system, the only solution? If so, it will repair this problem or will I still have this problem if I reinstall the OS? Help, please!

I ran system restore, but now only available restore point is "newer" than when the problem occurred. I contacted Autodesk and they feel that I'm able to use a distribution Linux on CD to allow me to replace the damaged file ntdll.dll. Otherwise, they unfortunately believe that I might have to reinstall everything.
I was expecting... (I know) that this could be avoided.

Is there a relatively easy way to replace a ntdll.dll file without going through a Linux distribution?

Hey. My debugging code works fine on the device, but on the Simulator (Momentics 2.1.1 and sim 10.3.1.2267) he began to say:

  • Application not found error-choose the program you want to use to open this file

    Soon all the world.

I really hope that someone will post a reply to my question as soon as possible. I will try to be as descriptive as I could possibly, in order to solve my problems.

The main problem is that I can't open some, if all the program files, applications on my windows 7, 32-bit laptop. I'm constantnly get application not found error, showing in a small window address, I was trying to do. Whenever I want to open a program, like the Adobe reader, word of microsoft, excel, mozilla firefox, google chrome - basically everthing, a window opens and is telling me this: choose the program you want to use to open this file: file: acad.exe... and recommend me acrobat from adobe program, any program I was trying to enter (in this case autoCAD).

Cannot open cmd, when I go to system recovery, it says: System Restore could not start. I normally post records in: C and: D sheet music, play music, watch videos and see photos. I found a "hole" not being able to go to the internet via a browser. I discovered it when I went to an online help in some of the trobleshoots. It would open tab in google chrome by itself and then on it, I can browse the internet normally, but only through the said track.

Currently, the microsoft security essentials performs a custom analysis (: C and: D), because I suspect it is a malware, or some kind of virus. It happened when I tried to download a program from CAD Solidworks 2012 via a site that I'm not sure I'm allowed to mention, that I don't want. Unless it's okay with you :) It begins with a letter t. By the way, I noticed that my: partition D has accumulated 10 GB + more in the space of a few days, because I remember two weeks ago I had close to 70 GB of free space, now it's about 56.3 GB. Curious, because I know that I did nothing so great in this period. Maybe I need to tell you that I get this window, from time to time, when I browse the internet (I never visit suspicious sites, or at least I don't me remember more I visited one in a very long time, like 4-5 months):

I found this in my story, be very careful what you do with this link, I don't want that take you anything ;)

That's on my side, please ask anything and everything, I'll visit this page when I can.

    Good bye!

P.S. forgot to mention that when I download a program (mozilla Firefox), I can not run it due to: Application not found. I hope I found the right place for it.

Original title: Windows 7 - Application not found. A big problem or easy-peasy?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    1. What is the complete error message you get when opening a file?
    2. What happens when you try to open the command prompt?
    3. What happens when you try to access the internet by using Internet Explorer?
    4. You did changes to the computer before the show?

According to the description of problem errors you get "application not found error" and "choose the program you want to use to open this file" and not being is not able to do system restore, it seems that some windows file is corrupted. I also suggest you to post back the results of analysis.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if this is useful:

Method 1:  Run SFC scan and check for corrupted Windows files and violations of integrity.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 2:

For any question, where his prompting you to select the default program
Try to set the default values for the program
Change the programs that Windows uses by default

For any question, where you are not able to download and install firefox, download the file and save it and then try to install firefox.

I hope this helps. Please let us know the results. Feel free to write us again for any help.

    Concerning

    KasunA

Found a workaround.  The problem is that, before the 7695070 patch is applied, the installation program backup directory/apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk in /apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk_backup_existing_version, but then it clears. / jdk - the patch fails because it can't find it.  I had to rename the directory of the jdk for jdk2, and as soon as it gets deleted quickly and rename jdk2 jdk.  Then he applies the patches without problem.  A symbolic link would do the same thing.

  • Memory of the application running at 100%

My problem is with the memory of the Application works 100% (see fig. 2).  It started yesterday so I decided to uninstall some of my old applications Photoshop (CS4, CS6, for example), hoping that would solve the problem, making sure that I do not uninstall Photoshop CC 2015.5 (latest version).  However, this has not fixed the problem, and to make things worse I am now unable to open Photoshop CC 2015.5 because it seems not to be there!

A further review of the activity monitor (Fig. 2), I found two identical icons 'Installer' both taking / using more than 15 GB each memory resulting in memory of the application running at 100%.   I have no idea what these installers, but they could be linked to the fact that when I try to use the program adobe (Fig. 1) installation and after some time, the icon disappears and nothing happens and the statistics of the Application memory gradually increase (the installer icon) until the computer was delivered to a grinding stop.

Therefore, in order to get the work PC should select 'Install' icons of the activity monitor and force them to completely.   The memory card, then returns to normal.

Just to add to my problems, I cannot open Photoshop CC 2015.5 nor can I use the installer of cloud creative access to download photoshop CC.  I tried to load photoshop via time Machine, but I get "Error 1" see fig. 3.

    My PC is:

    iMac (27 inch, mid 2011)

Operating system: OS X EL Capitan

Processor: 3.4 GHZ intel core i7

    Memory: 16 GB at 1333 MHZ DDR3

Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6970 M 2048 MB

I would be very grateful if someone could help with this problem.

    Thank you very much

    HB

    Hi Haydnb25097666,

For the configuration error, please try the steps mentioned on: in Adobe Creative Suite or Adobe Creative Cloud Configuration Error.

Please let us know if you still have problems with the memory usage.

    Thank you.
