Error VMware SVGA II

Mac OS X 10.6/Fusion 3.0.1/Win XP Pro SP3/VMware SVGA II version 11.6.0.31 driver

I have an error in VMware SVGA II drivers.

Display adapters/Manager/VMware SVGA II: properties > this device cannot start (Code 10)

I uninstalled and reinstalled the SVGA II. This is not enough.

I did a repair of the VMware tools installation. No help.

I changed the drivers take a VM running with XP Pro: vmx_svga.sys, vmwogl32.dll, vmx_lb.dll, vmx_mode.dll: no help.

What can I do?

You need find and remove oem (n) target .inf files that contains 'VMware SVGA II' and then uninstall, not repair, VMware Tools and then reboot and re-install VMware Tools.  Note that "(n)" in .inf oem (n) is a numerical value as oem1.inf, and there may be more then an oem (n) .inf file containing 'VMware SVGA II' according to how many different versions of the file or install the VMware Tools have been installed over time.  See the image as an attachment to view the settings for the research and noted that the search preferences have been adjusted to advanced.

  • Message "Ce PC cannot run Windows 10".  Reason? "VMWare SVGA 3d."

I googled this message, and the closest thing I could find was the following: https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 2126929

But I don't you a message "SVGA driver" unsupported as the post described.

Yet, I uninstalled VMware Tools, changed the type of machine virtual Windows 10 and tried again.  Same message.

I just upgraded to VMware Fusion 8.1 so that I could spend my VM to Windows 10.  Y at - it (8,2?) update to come which will address this issue?  I would buy the upgrade, but I don't see the reason why if I can't spend to Win 10.

On top of that, because of this problem, I missed the 20% off anniversary sale.  A chance that can be extended to us customers besieged?

You try to upgrade the virtual machine by using the tool of creation of media (as suggested in step 5 of the KB article) or by downloading the .iso image of Windows 10 to the appropriate address of the site Microsoft?  It is the most important part of the solution... The upgrade using an external .iso file allows the problem to be bypassed.

For the record: the VMware SVGA card is fully compatible with Windows 10.  The upgrader of Windows message is incorrect.

    See you soon,.

  • Fatal error VMware Workstation: (vmx) Exception 0xc0000005 (access violation)

I have a laptop that contains the image of a vmware Workstation for Windows 6 user). The machine died and was not recoverable, so I managed to recover the

The image was suspended at the time of the accident.

Now when I try to take it back, I get the error message - fatal error VMware Workstation: (vmx) Exception 0xc0000005 (access violation)

Image settings are grayed out so I can't edit the material (I have read one or two other positions where material caused this message).

I have attached the log files and dump. If someone could shed some light on this subject, it would be great.

  • fatal error VMware: (mks) after increasing memory

    Hello

I'm using VMware workstation 6.5.3 build 185404.  Image has been created with 752MB RAM.

Host and guest OS are Windows XP.

Host has up to 4 GB, so I want to increase the memory of the image to 2 GB.

After increasing the memory to 2 GB, when I start working with Visual Studio 2008, the image freezes and I get the following error:

    Fatal error VMware Workstation: (mks)

13:59:53.070 Jan 05: mks | Exception 0xc0000005 (access violation) occurred

If I display the memory back to 752MB, then fine. This behavior is the same on two different machines.

    I don't have a support contract.

I have attached the log file.

    Any suggestion?

  • Fatal error VMWare Workstation: (vmx)

    Hello

I created a VM to Oracle Red Hat Linux Enterprise (RHEL 5) and got this error message. This virtual machine is used as a database (Oracle, RedHat) server and connected to another virtual computer that is used as a device.

    error.png

I'm using VMWare Workstation version 9.02 and installed in Windows 7 64 bit. In this virtual machine, I created a snapshot. The last State of the virtual machine is interrupted and all I take it back, this error is displayed. I can't change the settings and go back also to any cliché that created before.

I tried to restart the VMWare services and also used an earlier version of VMWare Workstation version 9.01, but he always does'nt work.

I have attached the log file. No idea how I can fix this problem?

    Thanks for any help

You must take the State suspended - something serious has changed since suspend you the VM.
Looking at the newspaper, I guess that you do not have the same mouse than the one that you used when the virtual machine is suspended.

    Delete these files:

    G:\RHEL 5 2.6 18-8 x86_64\Oracle RHEL 5 2.6. 18-8 x86_64 - Snapshot14.vmsn

    G:\RHEL 5 2.6 18-8-x86_64\564d16bd-1ae0-7f67-3423 - 5ff35c59b4e7.vmem

Remove these lines from the vmx:

    checkpoint.vmState.readOnly = 'TRUE '.

    checkpoint.vmState = 'Oracle RHEL 5 2.6 18 - 8 x86_64 - Snapshot14.vmsn.

Then try to start the virtual machine - this time, it should not crash.
It can still display a warning on a disc that could have a repair, but this could be a bluff, and we can deal with that later.

  • The Vcops error (VMware-vcops - 5.8.0.0 - 1448123 - vapp.ova) on VMware ESXi (VMware-VMvisor-Installer - 5.5.0 - 1331820.x86_64.iso)

    Hi all

I am a novice in this area and to learn.

I installed VMware ESXi 5.5 in one of my machine and it works through VMware player. Am also able to connect to VMware ESXi 5.5 via Vsphere Client 5.5 on my machine. Through my research on the internet I found that vCenter Server is required only when we have the large number of ESXi to manage (correct me if I'm wrong). In my case, I have only one. Therefore, I have not installed vCenter Server.

Now, I want to deploy vCops with VMware ESXi 5.5 5.8. But while deploying OVF template(VMware-vcops-5.8.0.0-1448123-vapp.ova), I get the following error.

    Err1.JPG

My understanding above is correct or am I missing something obvious?

    Hi RizQad,

According to the guidelines of the screenshot, you connect directly to the host ESXi 192.168.0.49 and the error is reported through the OVF vCOPs. It's expected, because the ESXi host do not understand the purpose of vAPP, as explained in my initial comment.

You need to connect to your IP vCVA i.e. 192.168.0.51 using the vSphere client and then import the OVF vCOPs.

Let me know if you still experience this issue.

This worked before? Did you install all the applications such as CD burning applications?

The correct drive letter appears in the settings of the virtual CD-ROM machine for physical training?

To make sure that it is not a question etc authorisation, try to disable UAC, no S/W protection and start VMware Workstation by using "Run as Administrator".

You can also try to do is to remove the CD drive on the host device manager and allow the host to re - discover it. Maybe it makes a difference!
