  My - Fortime.ActiveSync - Workflow is a the TaskDefinition not a rule, I'm not surprised that a rule with the same name is not found.

  It is a characteristic also of the IdM from SUN. The name you provide to define the workflow is the name of the workflow direct or the name of a rule which allows to calculate the name of workflow. Systems first just tryes to find the rule and if it has failed, use the name as the name of the workflow.

  To get the rule, the system uses the getObject() method and ignores the exception ItemNotFound (another feature, they should use getObjectIfExists() instead).

  So either rewrite the method:

  com.waveset.sync.IAPIImpl.getRule()
  

  or use the rule to return the name of the workflow.

• Error after installation of the last DBWalker for unit 3.1.4

  I renamed my dbwalker existing (ver 2.14) and installed the latest version of dbwalker for unity 3.1.4 (3.0 build 90) and put it in the same directory as the old version, then it would become part of "filing tools". I get an error every time I start the program dbwalker (if it is selecting from the list of the "diagnostic tools" or go directly to the folder and run DBWalker. The pop-up says:

  "Error in the routine error: Automation FrmLoad.

  The specified module could not be found.

  I have to click on the OK button then a few times 'X' of the error, then DBWalker interface opens and appears normal. I have not run the utility, but because this forum works on a production system and I want to assure you that the initial error will not cause any problems. Any help would be appreciated.

  There are some DLLs that register you when you install dbWalker - they are used for things like grids and localized text and others - they get listed in the registry and there is a path to point to them. My best guess is when you changed the path of the directory (as indicated previously - this is not necessary) these links in the registry were broken, so he was not able to load. It's just a guess, I have to try and repro myself to know for sure.

  But short story - just install the new versions of the tools in their own directory and let them update filing of the tools themselves registry settings in order to avoid this sort of thing...

  OK guys the problem was the space on the application server and not the database one... it is resolved... If you get the error like this please try to see if any tightening of size or space after you have talked to db you!

  First of all, thank you for taking my comment or the constructively. And 2nd, I apologize if you found my comment as rude, I didn't do it. The line I wrote "let oracle docs to be your friend" is a sentense I always use and used as you requested that you need a reference where it says to use FSMTT only as the other parameters. This is why I gave the link to the doc and tried to cnvey the message that its documented. This was my intention. I try to stay away from making personal comments of any kind. Normally what I observe is tht if someone has a habit of reading docs, he finds the right to answeer, at least as to the questions as a reference parameter. This caused my assumption that I was wrong about the base.

• Time Machine - there was an error preparing the Time Machine backup drive (could not mount the drive)

  I have a new HD but cannot set up encryption with system preferences. After ten minutes, I get the following error message:

  "There was an error preparing the Time Machine backup disk (disc name) - could not mount drive"

  Apparently, I need to set up the HD in this way:

  • If you are using an external drive connected to your Mac, use disk utility to make sure that your backup disk is formatted in HFS + extended (journaled) and is the partition type GUID Partition Table (GPT)

  It is not an option for the HFS + and so I used; OS x EXTENDED (journaled). GUID is ok.

  Can someone let me know what I need to do.

  For TimeMachine at best to a partition only.

  Do it again if necessary, then disconnect, reconnect, Start Time Machine preferences and "select disk".

• I get errors during the installation of Download Helper

  I went and found the error log and it says to clear my cache and or wait a few hours and try again. It's been several weeks and I can always install it. I tried to completely uninstall the Download Helper and reinstall and get the same error.

  I installed Autocad 2010 64 bit on my new Dell Vista Home premium 64-bit OS. Worked like a charm. I installed a piece of trial software that I ended up uninstalling a day later (also of Autodesk). I can no longer launch Autocad... error initializing and it points to the ntdll.dll error. I have uninstalled and installed the software several times with information about the Autodesk site and the result is the same. The application installs perfectly, but will not start due to the error of initialization of the.
  Now, I installed another package of drafting and the result is the same... and the error is the same, even if it is not the same software.
  I ran SFC/scannow and the journal reports there is little files that can not be repaired.
  I run the DVD of Vista and tried a repair, although I can't find a ntdll.ll replacement and I don't seem to be able to change it if I could.
  Is a complete operating system, the only solution? If so, it will repair this problem or will I still have this problem if I reinstall the OS? Help, please!

  I ran system restore, but now only available restore point is "newer" than when the problem occurred. I contacted Autodesk and they feel that I'm able to use a distribution Linux on CD to allow me to replace the damaged file ntdll.dll. Otherwise, they unfortunately believe that I might have to reinstall everything.
  I was expecting... (I know) that this could be avoided.

  Is there a relatively easy way to replace a ntdll.dll file without going through a Linux distribution?

  The last time I had this error was for malware using ESET secruit security check. During which I got like 11 errors with event ID 11 in the observer diary of events. Next, I had warnings of ntfs with event ID: 57:

  I have a Data Guard configuration using two 11.2.0.3 single instance databases.  The Setup has been configured for automatic failover and I an observer running on a separate box.

  This accelerated failover configuration has been implemented for about a month, and last week, many SEGSEGV (address not mapped to the object) errors are reported in the journal alerts.  This happens quite frequently (every 4/5 minutes).

  The corresponding trace files show the process triggering the error from the observer.

  Everyone knows about this problem?  I'm at my wits end trying to figure out how to correct the configuration to eliminate this error.

  I also have to note that even if this happens a lot, it does not affect the functionality of database.

  Help?

• Error importing the second database data dictionary

  SDDM 4.0.0.833 on Windows 7 SP1.

  I try to import in the same relational model, a production and a development Oracle database in two different physical models.  I select only users, roles and Tablespaces, no other database items.  When I click on finish, I get an error with a big red x box and nothing else.  These are the only entered in the journal (datamodeler.log) for today.  What I am doing wrong?

  Well, it was weird.  I closed SDDM and re-opened and always less error.  Was supposed to work in another design, so I closed the test design and got a lot of mistakes in the journal about starting by ' 2014-02-10 09:48:27, 228 [Thread-60] ERROR DesignLevelSettings - cannot save the settings of level Design: "I opened my other design, made some changes, saved and closed SDDM again."  No additional errors in the log.  Now import works fine.

  Any idea what's going on?
