Essbase start-up, the system of survey error "CSS initialization fails.

Hello
I have been using the hyperion essbase in the past.
Today, somebody removed the network cable on the servers. I put back them, but since then I am facing problem where I can't connect to the Essbase server.
I tried to restart the essbase server. When the server starts, it first gives the warning:

log4j: WARN Please initialize log4j correctly system.

But he continues, and then prompt error

I checked the service of Shared Services, and it works well. My environment is a distributed environment, where shared (foundation) services are installed on a different machine than the Essbase Server

Someone could also the problem... Please help

Are you really sure that you can connect to shared services, if the service is in place it does not always mean that hss is fully executed, for example, there could be a problem in communicating with the relational repository.
You should also have a look at SharedServices_Security_Client.log

    Hello

Orb is blocked at the start of the system on my Vista Ultimate SP2, even if the box is checked in the setup of the system. What could be the reason? And there at - it a danger by unlocking it? If this is not the case, how can I put it so that it hangs every time you start?

    Thank you

    Hello

    1. When you say its blocked, that you get any message or it does not appear at startup?

    2. don't you perform a normal startup or selective startup?

I suggest that you follow the steps below and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

This can be caused by your security software, I would temporarily disable all security software and check if the ORB is blocked.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats.  In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Step 2:

If it works, then give exception in Firewall setting for the program.

  • Cursor flashing at the start of the system and hard drive not working do not on the other computer

Original title: I need help with my Hardrive

Recently I had problems with a hard disk of computers. So I'm going to give guys the full story, I fell on this computer, it's actually my mums computer and it had a blue screen at startup error. I'm sorry, but I don't remember that the error was called on the top of my head, basiclly I quikly searched online and alll they say should use fixboot. So I did and the computer booted Windows XP very well. So the next day, when I was starting the machine (just to let you know, it would be the first start since I used fixboot, other than the right after that, I don't know if it would make a difference).

In any case, while trying to start, there was just a slider, or as underscore that retain just flashing in top left corner. I thought that maybe I should reinstall windows on another partition so my files would be safe. I did it, the installation program had no problem with it, but when I booted up I got the same line of flashing underscore / cursor in the upper left corner.

I thought that maybe I should back up the hard drive using my other computer so I tried to plug in the hardrive in my work computer and the hardrive started to heat up and as if it worked but any hardrive was getting into my computer, I refreshed it, started the computer upward once again, nothing.

So my question is what is the problem with this hardrive and how I save? I'm ready to do anything, use the live CD, using another computer. I have precious moments of family on the hardrive.

    Thank you guys

    Hi Joemost,

As you have important data on the hard drive. We recommend that you contact the vendor of hard drive to diagnose hard drive or visit the nearest tech store to save your data.

There are chances that the boot files are missing on the computer and also you could have not connected the hard drive as a slave when you connected to the other computer. Once you have saved the data, you can repair the existing windows and check if it starts successfully.

Try these steps to repair install Windows XP:
    a. start the computer using the XP CD. You may need to change the boot order in the BIOS OF THE system for the CD starts before the hard drive.
    b. on the "Welcome" screen, press ENTER to start the installation of Windows.
    c. accept the license agreement and Windows will search for existing installations of Windows.
    d. Select the XP installation you want to repair in the list, press R to start the repair.
    e. the installation program copies the necessary files to the hard disk and restart.  Do not press any key to boot from CD when the message appears. Setup will continue as if it were a clean install, but your applications and settings are preserved.
    f. when the installation is complete, check if Windows starts correctly.

Vista SP1 Home Premium 32 bit OS. I noticed sevveral weeks that when I booted my system there was a delay time for my internet connection set up - there was a blue 'x' on the network in the menu bar lower right. I went to look at the log of the problem. Here's where I see whenever I turned on my system there was a blocking error "hpqddsvc. The first time it happened was on 21-02-09. I went to my list of updates of Windows installed and there was an update that is installed on the same day. Should I uninstall this update of Windows? I tried to send this info to the center of MS resolution as indicated on the page of the system, but it was not a resolution on this particular issue in the file.
If anyone else has experienced this problem, please respond with advice on how to proceed. Thank you

    Hi 59Harley

Thanks for your post on the Forum in Vista.

Before you uninstall the update of Windows, I'll try to disable HP Services that start automatically.  Most of the HP services need not be started during startup.

    1. on the keyboard, hold down the Windows key and press R (Windows key is between the CTRL and Alt keys)
    2. in the run box, type MSCONFIG.  (not case sensitive)
    3. go to the Startup tab
    4. uncheck all entries from HP.
    5. click apply and then OK.
    6. restart your computer.

  • L875D-10th satellite no longer starts after the system update

    Hello

After a Windows Update yesterday my system unbootable - little matter what I try!

And I tried many things to get it started again.

    think like:

-Passage uefi depents csm and back on trial
    -Different installation DVD original Windows (Win 7/8 x 64 & x 86)
    -Different USB key
-Erase the HDD on an external PC
-Reset the UEFI with F9 while inside - system breaks down right!
-Remove the BIOS battery and battery hand while it is also removed from power like 2 hours
    -Replace the DVD with another
-Tested external RAM and HDD - ok status

I can access the menu of boot with UEFI himself (channels here is saved and system restarts), but past that I just get a black screen with backlit, on NumLock no longer, have powerdown to reset.
At startup, I see the Toshiba Logo.

Is there an external means to completely reset the UEFI next to Load Defaults while in there?

Any other suggestions I can do?

(Sorry for my bad English and greetings from the Germany)

    Hello

    > Is there an external way to completely reset the UEFI next to Load Defaults while in there?

There is no other method to change the mode of the UEFI.
You must do it in the BIOS (press F2)

In order to boot from the external environment or to install systems as Windows 7 or other, need you to change disable secure startup and must pass the CSM UEFI.

In which case you would use the Toshiba recovery media, these changes are not necessary.
Have you tried to reinstall the system using the Toshiba Recovery Disk or Flash Recovery USB stick?
Did you create this recovery media in the past?

  • restart of the computer from standby when I press start on the system unit, but not when a scheduled task is started

Windows XP Professional SP3, updates, motherboard Asus P4P800 series (2006). The original system dates back to 2002, but there have been many additions and replacement upgrade. More recently, 2011, two old hard drives have been replaced (XP had destroyed itself requiring a reinstallation), with a much larger and HD, and the cpu has been replaced by a 3 GHz one.

I've configured the BIOS to enable the use of standby mode (standby). I wanted to be able to run scheduled backup jobs early in the morning, a little before I wake up normally. The goal was to conserve energy. Whenever I leave the computer for more than an hour or two, I put it in sleep mode. In recent years, that it worked well.

Scheduled tasks are still, in fact, more surely than ever. But now, when I press the Start button on the system unit, the operating system is restarted rather than restore the State of the system at the time of Eve. This happened almost constantly for maybe a week. I was always a guard never enter sleep mode when I'm aware of any application running who has not completed a requested operation (save a file, defragment a disk, etc.).

I searched on the basis of knowledge, but not found any problems like that. There has been no hardware changes, no new devices; only change of important software (but it is difficult to see how it might be relevant) was the resettlement of Java Runtime Environment 6.x to support the help of OpenOffice. Although I have not checked, I am reasonably sure that all drivers are up-to-date.

No idea why this should suddenly become a problem or how to fix?

    Hello

I suggest you follow these methods and check.

Method 1: View the steps suggested in the following link.

How to solve the problems of hibernation and standby in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/907477

Method 2: Use the Powercfg.exe utility to restore the default power mode

You can use the Powercfg.exe utility to copy the power mode of the user by default to the currently logged user profile. You can do this because eating patterns are only related to individual user accounts. To copy the default user schema using the Powercfg.exe utility, follow these steps:

    1. click on Start, click run, type cmdand then click OK.

    2. at the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
    powercfg /RestoreDefaultPolicies

Method 3: How to perform the check and clean boot if the problem persists.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

NOTE: Once you check the functionality, follow the suggestions under steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state.

    I hope this helps!

  • Can we prevent the popup Scheduler task Service at the start of the system for a scheduled task to run periodically?

When I have any task scheduled to run periodically (for example, daily, weekly), the Task Scheduler Service dialog box always appears on the logon screen if the computer was turned off at the time of day the task should run. From my experiences, it seems as the process that determines a spot missed his scheduled time does not consider that the PC is turned off. There seems to be no way to prevent this. Even when a task is scheduled to run at the system startup and periodically, the dialog box appears when the login screen appears.

    This analysis is correct?

I have three tasks in Task Scheduler. I didn't know anything about the task scheduler until I started having the popup. The first time I looked at Task Scheduler these three tasks have been implemented as follows.

Adobe Flash Player Updater - Annex: every 1 hour (s) 03:05 for 24 hour (s) on every day...

GoogleUpdateTaskMachineCore - Annex: Run when the user login

    GoogleUpdateTaskMachineUA - Annex: every 1 hour (s) 20:51 24 hour (s) on every day...

I have no idea how or when it has been implemented in this way, but I only started to receive this dialog box by the end of 2011. Would it have happened during an Adobe Flash Player update or update of Google?

I changed the calendar. I've now set up three tasks to run at startup of the system. The popup appears now. Is there a reason why I have to trigger these tasks once per hour?

    CSF

You don't need these tasks scheduled at all.

You can go to each site and look for updates when you want.

If you have installed google something he will continue to try to catch up, and if you have installed adobe you can disable automatic updating.

When I choose Safe Mode... drivers will charge up to Mup.sys and then the system just REBOOTS.

When I try the last good Configuration known, same thing.

Enter the system (F2) shows, Version of the system Bios configuration utility: v1.15

It used to be all about v1.10.

    .................................................

Then. What is my next step?

Will be my HD reformatting and reinstall WIndowsXP DIFFICULTY this problem?

    or

How can I RESET my Bios to v1.10 (when everything was fine).

No software to use on a USB key to solve this problem? (because theres no CD don't drive of course)

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi MOne

The flash will have changed the BIOS settings, so go in the BIOS settings and verify that the setting of the HARD drive is in AHCI mode. If it still does not start XP, then it is worth trying to format & reinstall Windows from scratch.
