ESXi 4 - need to mount disks that were originally ext3

Please forgive my ignorance, as I am new to VMware.  I have a system with three disks.  I recently installed ESXi, and now I'm eager to read the data on the other drives which were originally Ubuntu Linux (ext3).  The main boot HDD is VMFS ESXi running.  I want to be able to mount these two disks that were originally my Ubuntu for my Ubuntu VM system.  All I need is for the OS to think they are physical devices attached to it, and I can easily put them up there.  If I try to add these two drives to ESXi ranging in Configuration / Storage / add storage... I can see the drives, and he says that they are Linux, but it gives me the opportunity to erase the drives and start again.  It's the last thing I want to do, because the data about them are very important.  Virtual machine configuration, I can't find any option to introduce these devices on the virtual computer.  What I'm missing here?  So, it seems logical that I should be able to do this.

Thank you!!!

P.S. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a topic that has been raised before, but I can't find anything about that in my research.

OK... the solution is to RDM.

The problem is that it is not easy for the local disk.

See:
