  I am currently a student on a course of Japanese language. I use a homemade computer and it runs under Windows XP. I would like to be able to correspond with people living in Japan, with Japanese text (Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji). I understand that I need a MUI (multilingual user interface). Is it possible to install the software on my computer? Another possibility, what is the most effective way to achieve this? • Eloqua multilingual user interface

  Hi all

  We have a lot of users and clients connecting in EMEA and APAC countries, where English is not the first language.

  According to me, one of the priorities for Oracle with Eloqua may make available multilingual user interface. This could be just wishful thinking on my part it would be a PRECIOUS help. I am particularly interested in the Japan because it is where my team.

  Someone has information (or even a guess) on Eloqua UI being developed in several languages?  Estimated time?

  Hi Geoff,

  It's actually one of our top priorities at the moment and we have a dedicated team working on it.  One of the huge benefits of the Oracle acquisition of are that they have this down to a science, and there is a very large Department and the 'translation' machine dedicated to this purpose.  Are some primary steps in making this real.

  -First of all, the user interface of the platform should be built in such a way that labels or text can be programmatically extracted and replaced.  New Eloqua screens built in the style of HTML5 had this integrated review there are only a few tweaks to do there.  Some of the screens that have been longer require more effort to make this possible, but we know what we need to do.  The platform must also be able to capture, store and display international characters, Eloqua has been able to do for a long time, we are there.

  -Secondly, there is a solid approach to the identification of 'culture' (country + language) of the user wishes to use and carry through their session.  We use the term culture because it is not only dependent on the language or dependent countries.  A simple example of this would be British for numbers, dates, and currencies style even if the language is English.  We have this understood as well

  -Finally, we need the real user interface translation to do - and it is where Oracle really helps to join us.  They have a team of translators from around the world who will make this part for us, with the participation as required according to the specific terms the business context.

  The big question is more clearly when and what languages.  That I can not commit at this stage that we're still relatively early in the project, but the general feeling is that one should be able to complete the work required in steps 1 & 2 and get some initial language translations "tier 1" made at the start of next year.  Once again, it is what we are organizing a view of road map, but please do not take it as a commitment as a variety of internal or external factors may change the "timing".

  I have some problems to reload the complete dictionary (GSD file)

  with the LabWindows/CVI 'User localized Interface' tool.

  DO NOT run a multilingual, with the good translation software.

  The final executable works perfectly, with LWL file.

  BUT if I need to correct an error of translation (I'm only a man ).

  and try to reload the previously saved dictionary (GSD file) for that.

  After leaving the tool,

  many completed translations previously disappeared (see pictures attached).

  You can save the dictionary as much time you want.

  After put again and again... the same missing translation.

  Whenever you reload, after the tool 'User Interface localized',

  some translated lack again and again in the tool.

  See the attached example.

  See with 'Fonction_EN. GDL' and 'OK (enter)' message button of the Panel "in context".

  It is correcly filled in the final file of LWL, so the executable is correctly loaded.

  But it still does not save in the GDL dictonary file.

  We had the problem, since almost LabWindows/CVI 2012 (and perhap previously).

  And especially with some IUR with many panels on the inside

  and/or using the same translations (__OK, __Cancel, etc...).

  -File-> open User Interface (*.uir, * .tui)...

  '... \Elements.uir '.

  --> Dictionary Translation of the dictionary (*.lwd)...

  '... \Elements.lwd ' (-online form "Chains" successfully imported file dictionary)

  -File-> load location (*.lwl)...

  '... \Elements_En.lwl ' (-online 'channels successfully imported the language resource file)

  The translation are fulfilled.

  My movie file uses a SequenceFileLoad reminder to start his own execution automatically by using the entry point TestUUTs. This is accomplished by calling the Engine.NewExecution method. The problem I have is that my custom LabVIEW user interface does not switch to the view of execution when execution begins. If I manually start the execution using the TestUUTs key, the point of view of execution is displayed.

  In my interface user, changing the display of the sequence at the sight of the execution is done in the event callback, DisplayExecution, and the StartExecution event reminder. I also tried the ExecutionChanged event reminder, but realized that it did not apply in this case. The complex UI that comes with TestStand works correctly and, as far as I know, I use the same event reminders to manage change in my user interface.

  Any ideas? What Miss me?

  I realized what was going on. I was to switch it on the SequenceView using the ExecutionClosed callback, but was not checking the number of executions that have been opened. Opening my file of sequence autolaunching would open two executions, one to open the file and the actual execution of the file. As soon as the file has been opened, the first run was closing my UI to return to the display of the trigger sequence. Execution else had already begun the execution of the sequence file so he would continue to run in view of the execution, but I didn't see it.

  I now use ApplicationManager.Executions.Count and only to switch back to the SequenceView if it was not open execution.

• MSASCui.exe failed 0 x 80000003 & Windows defender User Interface has stopped working

  I can't update windows and spybot will not run. AVG says no active components. When I restarted I got this MSASCui.exe message the application failed if initialize properly (0 x 80000003) click ok to complete the application. Then I got the message that Windows Defender user interface has stopped working. Also earlier while trying to ask this question box in my speakers one ad for Charmin and part of a kind of talk show or something.  It also happened just before I open IE to ask this question.   It looks like something very funky happening with your Internet Explorer program.  It looks much like malware to me, but if you ran several scans with different products, then that may not be the case.  You can try several above - but you probably won't find anything (but you might--sometimes a virus is very sneaky and that one or two anti-malware programs are able to deal with them).

• (Redirected) Winphlash user interface has stopped working

  I have an Inspiron 1501 - it's old, but it woks great...  I tried updating the BIOS by following the instructions on the Dell site. I repeatedly get the Winphlash User Interface stopped working. I see that others have reported the problem for years back, but nobody has a solution. Can someone tell me the proper technique to make this update of the BIOS without errors? I don't get all the instructions online - only a type BACK window then disappears.

  Also located on the site of Dell drivers, my NOTE to the ADMINService tag: maintain the label removed by privacy policy > and then I get the message that my operating system Windows Vista Home Basic is not available on the machine - but it was purchased from DELL with this OS?

  I use the NDK for about 2 weeks now and I can't seem to find any resource on the following blackberry Web site.

  I am creating an application without a head that would run every 24 hours on my blackberry.  I have the app created with Momentics headless and it does what I need it to do. But right now I need to have a button in a user interface to call him.

  1. Have created enforcement wihtout the need of a user interface for packing it or deployment using our company BES.

I created a new Install.wim that includes language packs that precedes and successfully installed. However, when I pass English Chinese traditional UIto UI, a 'New fast' IME has been inserted automatically. Even I removed and spent in English and traditional Chinese, the EMI has been reinserted automatically. This situation also occurs in the simplified Chinese user interface. An IME for simplified Chinese to enter himself was also inserted when switching to another language simplified Chinese user interface.
  I have spent a lot of time to troubleshoot but no way. I hope here can give me a suggestion to solve. Thank you.

  Step 1. copy the files:

  Copy the Utilities\UIExtensions\config\Core\UIExtensionScripts directory and its contents in the \config\Core < PLM4P_Home > directory

  Copy the Directory of Utilities\UIExtensions\config\Extensions\UIExtensionScripts and its content in the directory of \config\Extensions < PLM4P_Home >

  Copy the following assemblies to the SharedLibs folder of the the Pack of extensibility in the \Web\scrm\bin < PLM4P_Home >, < PLM4P_Home > \Web\gsm\bin or < PLM4P_Home > \Web\npd\bin directories:

  • PLM4PExtensionUtils.dll
  • ScriptingUtils.dll
  • UserInterfaceExtensions.dll

  Step 2: Insert the following lines in CustomPluginExtensions.xml, in the FormatPlugins section

  None of my javascript are applied to the page. I tried simple javascript like this:

  You said that by default uiextensiongsm has been activated. But I have to manually turn on UseInEditMode and UseInReadMode. Please check this.

• deployment of a BPM Application large Oracle with several projects of the user interface

  I'm working on a large application with Oracle BPM 11.1.1.5.0.
  
  I use JDeveoper 11.1.1.5.0 to build the application.
  The application has many tasks user with a lot of the UI (one for each task of the user).
  
  My problem is, whenever I make a small change in the project, I need to deploy this, which includes a master project and five or six projects UI (for now) for tasks of the user.
  As demand grows, I'm sure that this will certainly become a problem.
  
  So my question is if I do this the good sense? or should there be a more effective way?

  Hi Luke
  1. as a general rule, there is NO need to have a user interface project for an individual task. As initiator, approver, reviewer, LegalApprover etc etc, you have like 10 tasks (.task files). You can have just a single project of TaskForms UI and have taskDetails.jspx generated for each of these tasks. This is appropriately.

  2. any Application workflow must have only 2 deployers. Deploy resources are for real Workflow stuff that will have the main BPEL or process, BPM, human tasks etc. Basically, everything that goes into the workflow project. And another official of the deployment is that the REST of things means that the UI TaskForms project and other project support as useful projects, WebServices, EJB projects (if you have Web services). All this will be deployed as a SINGLE EAR.

  Lets take an example JDeveloper IDE point of view.
  1. application Name: SalesOrderApp
  2 workflow project name: SalesProcess (he is a a project jdeveloper project SOA or BPM Project type and has all human tasks, bpels, process bpm, rules etc.).
  3 interface user Project: SalesTaskForms (it is a form generated automatically for the first task you choose. Then for the rest of the tasks you can use this same project, to generate jspx for all others. WORK files. VIEW documents online on how to do it. I'll see if I can compile this list of URLS for you).
  3. support the EJB projects: MyEJBProject1 (some EJB project that connects to some specific to your back-end database project)
  4. support another Service EJB project: MyExtServiceProject1 (as another project EJB that uses data from an external source)
  5. some WebService project: SalesCreditCardValidationWebService (some WebService project to be deployed as. WAR file that performs a service).

  Try to apply the Concepts of SOA for each Service your application needs. Instead of putting all the EJBs and everying in one giant project, try to split their need logically commercial/sage and geenrate separate projects so that they can maintain as it is to other projects and other applications.

  Anyway, coming back, in the example above, you should have deployment just 2: 1 is the JAR file of SCA in the Workflow and another complete of the EAR file.
  (a) for the workflow project, right-click and generate a deployment profile to deploy all the workflow and NOT on the other projects of the user interface.
  (b) for each project individual genereate a profile of deployment such as MyEJBProj1, MyEJBProj2, MyWebService1, etc etc.
  (c) for TaskForms project, generate a deployment as SalesTaskForms profile. It is a WAR file.
  (d) at the level of the Application, create a new profile of deployment of the EAR type and now assemble all the projects in this EAR, with the exception of the Workflow project.

  First of all, you deploy file JAR of SCA of the Workflow. You need to redeploy this again only when you make changes to the workflow, humantasks etc etc.
  Deploy the full blown EAR file that has all the stuff (EJB JARs, TaskForm WARs, WebService wars etc.).

  At any time, you change your code taskforms or redeploy a java, ejb, EAR file.

  You should have a POT and an EAR to deploy at the end of the day. Infact this is how it should go into UAT, and production. They may not have many pots, multiple wars deployed. The reason why we have separated Workflow SCA Jar file is, because the workflow will not change frequently. And also older versions of SOA/BPM (before 11.5 FP) have a huge disadvantage. Whenever we deploy a workflow project, it will make existing processes VITIATED, unless you deploy a different version. This isn't a problem anymore for 11.5 + FP (Feature Pack applied). Therefore, be careful when you redeploy workflow project.

• CS3 strange disappearance of the user interface

  Hi all

  Just update my system to Vistax64 and installed my CS3 on here and his works fine. There is however a strange thing goes my palette UI and it disappears. I was just test it after installation (which has installed fine) and have been using it now for about two weeks. I tried searching on Google and stuff like that to see if anyone else has encountered this problem but not really found anything useful. Attached are some screenshots so you can see what I mean.

  As you can see, it's actually my Palette layers has no top border, position, or tabs. It's just empty. If I click it, it will collapse (minimize) and everything will be visible again (tabs, buttons to close the palette, etc.) if I click it again, it will expand just as it should look like. It does not only with the layers palette, but with all the windows that are docked on the right side if developed on. (not sure if I am making any sense, pictures tell the whole story)

  I am running Vista Ult 64 bit, 8 GB of Ram and 3.5 Ghz Quad Core processor. It works and works well, just, this produces every once in a while and its very annoying. Also happens in dreamweaver, flash and illustrator. I have reinstall photoshop twice just to make sure that it was not a faulty installation but it works and works well. Right next to this bug in the user interface.

  Someone at - it a fix for this or suggestions? Drivers have been updated for my card gtx260, all hardware drivers are good. Just this strange anomaly

  What method did you use to reset the preferences?

  Another thing to try is to disable all 3 plug-in third party who cannot behave in 64 - bit.
