  I'm having the following problem.  When you try to install the most recent 'Flash Player' I get the following on the 300 more my PC running Windows 7.

  

  I tried the steps for installed the cleaning and the steps to give permissions to the correct key in the registry and nothing worked.  I have attached the log files of the last machine, that I encountered the error.  Can someone please! I'm at my wits end on this.

  For all those who may fall on this thread with a similar problem (and always get "Failed to register" error after you run the SubInACL tool to correct permissions):

  We have identified the problem as McAfee. Specifically, McAfee was preventing access to the following registry entries:

  HKLM Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\ {D27CDB70-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000} \Compatibility flags

  HKLM Software \Policy Rights\ElevationPolicy\ {FAF199D2-BFA7-4394-A4DE-044A08E59B32}

  HKLM Software \AppPath Rights\ElevationPolicy\ {FAF199D2-BFA7-4394-A4DE-044A08E59B32}

  HKLM Software \AppName Rights\ElevationPolicy\ {FAF199D2-BFA7-4394-A4DE-044A08E59B32}

  During uninstallation of McAfee, Flash Player ActiveX registered.  Could be a policy setting in the configuration of McAfee.  OP will investigate.

• Error message: "Adobe Flash Player could not register".

  It's on a system Windows XP SP3 IE8 and SeaMonkey (a derivative of Firefox). I can update the version of Flash Player NPAPI no problem, but when I try to manually update the version Active-X, I get this error for months. If I leave the reader with the option to allow Adobe to install the updates, it finally installed the update successfully several times after a manual update failed, but now my Player ActiveX has been on version 17.0.0.188 for a long time, and when I look at my settings of player I find that the update option went from "Enable" to "Notify". I change back to 'Allow', but in a few days it goes back to "Notify".

  I rarely use IE, but I'd like to fix this if possible.

  (BTW, I plan to upgrade my OS to Windows 10 before the end of the year).

  However, the TNSPING is ok and the lsnrctl status too.

  I have already set the database according to the installation and Configuration guide and don't know what I can do.

  Oracle is installed on the same machine, if so you need to update the tnsnames.ora

  Take a look at the TNS_ADMIN environment variable, it points to \user_projects\config\dbclient

  If it is open tnsnames.ora and check that it contains HFMTNS =...

  Open the tnsnames.ora to the main oracle for example \Oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\NETWORK\ADMIN\tnsnames.ora database and copy the entries in the EMP tnsnames.ora

• Installed the game 9 GB (Obduction) but I'm not.

  I downloaded a massive 9GB game called "Obduction" and then follow the steps to install it. At the end of this installation, which ended while I was away from the computer, a window was left with a large green checkmark telling him "Installation was successful". However, I can't find the game anywhere. I tried to enter the word "Obduction" Spotlight and the 'F' command windows, but all I get is reference another file that I downloaded successfully the Obduction music soundtrack; nothing on the much bigger file of the game itself. The game itself had glitches when it is played and is classified as a beta version for Mac, but I have not heard of him 'becoming extinct after installation.

  Just a guess. You have installed Steam? Maybe you need to launch Steam and it could be registered. I don't play and it has been years I tried Steam so I could be wrong.

  Firefox has slowed to a crawl... taken advice on the support page to delete and rename the file "places.sqlite" in Manager files in Firefox.   So I use to have an iPhone but had to switch to Android and get a new number. The Apple, I ID currently is one I had on my old iphone. Now I'm getting an iPad and I was wondering if I could still register my number on it and send messages or facetime people who can iMessage or Facetime? ID use a Wi - Fi connection all the time on it.
