    HELO

Madam, Sir, in recent weeks earliar I post a match which, my laptop is slow. I had a few suggestions also to rectify, but here, one of the technicians of the computer market said that if it makes the game to the top of the windows it would be 100% ok. I allowed him to do this means that I destroyed. What it does is remove everything and installed Windows - 7 Ultimate instead of widows-7 Edition Home Premium. My laptop is slow & I'm sick of this computer. Please help me how to recover my old & original version. I bought this laptop from the United States with licensed software. I'll be useful & gratefull to you all. Thank you.

You burn the backup recovery discs for your laptop when you have guessed? If so start from them to restore to factory setting. If you burn your game if you are always you can order from HP is the United States. If this is not the case, there is no way to get them shipped outside the U.S. in another country.

If you can still read the 25 character license key Windows attached to the bottom of the laptop there is another way to achieve this. Please answer in return.

Did you test the drive to see if it is causing the slowness problem? Do it using the key F2 immediately after switching on.

  • Example: Pavilion 2226TU G6: creating windows 10 recovery discs

My pc was pre installed with windows 8, and recovery for Windows 8 discs have already been made. Now, if I update to Windows 10, can I do a set of recovery disks to recover windows 10 later, whenever any problem?

    Hello:

You can use the creation of a tool of windows 10 image and save them on a portable hard drive or several DVD.

    http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5495-system-image-create-Windows-10-a.html

You will also need to do a Startup Repair flash drive, or you can do a full installation of W10 DVD or player flash from the link below to access the system image that you create.

    https://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/Windows10

You can update the image of the system as many times as you want to update (probably best to do it on the laptop hard drive).  It replaces the existing image on a hard drive portable.

    Any recommendations?

I recommend you update your BIOS. Go to http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html , and then type the name of your product in the search box.  Choose the Dv5 Entertainment Notebook that you have and select.  On the next page select your operating system Windows 7 Home 32 or 64-bit. Once on the correct driver for your laptop page choose BIOS in the list of drivers. Please update your BIOS and reboot. This should bring your WIFI connection. Please let me know if that solves this problem.

    Hello

Recently, I tried to do a reset to factory my laptop. I used the recovery partition by pressing F11. He traveled all the HP software reinstall it but then would randomly turns off when you try to reinstall windows. I tried the process of recovery time and time again and got the same result. The recovery discs are not available for my computer as well.

    Operating system: Windows Vista 64-bit

Error message: Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, run the Setup again.

Any input on this would be a good thing, I was very frustrated trying to get this to work. You wouldn't think your recovery would fail, seems to be a very important option to the computer!

  • Pavilion dv5-1203em that has a 500 GB HDD 5400 replacement WD5000BEVT-60ZAT0

Started making grinding noises and worried it will fail soon. I backed everything up and make incremental backups every month or the major software update.

I found this page which has examples of readers for the dv5: -.

    http://www.Amazon.co.UK/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?URL=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=HP+Pavilion+dv5+500GB...

I got the laptop computer upgraded with 8 GB of RAM and it is both power-hungry and becomes very hot requiring leaving space for ventilation.

    I have a few questions: -.

    1. I would of course get the model 7200 / 16 MB fast, but my laptop BIOS will support this, and this will lead to even greater consumption of energy and the heat generated?

    2. you would recommend sticking with the 5400/8 MB that I know will it work?

    3. I don't see the 1203em in the list of models supported, is there a compatibility list or can any point where it shows it IS supported?

    4. the model I have seems to be original HP Italy so I'm having a lot of trouble finding any hardware spare parts - can anyone help?

Thank you to all those who respond

I use the Western Digital Scorpio Black series in both my HP laptops, I have heat problems, they seem to go very cool and 7200 RPM

Any Sata laptop hard drive will work as long as it's 750 GB or smaller, drives 1 TB are thicker and do not fit in some bays of hard disk in several notebooks,.

I like BEKT of the Scorpio black models, they are not as advanced, compatible with multiple operating systems

If you want Advanced Format then go with the BPKT, these work well with Vista and Windows 7 but are kind of a pain when installing with XP.

  • Pavilion dv5: if I can reset this computer?

Well, until recently, I found an old hp laptop to my father and he let me keep. I know he has had some problems in the past, so I went online and found ways on how to fully factory reset, I tried many tricks and tips, but none match the menu or options. What I'm trying to understand, is how to CORRECTLY and accurately factory reset Pavilion dv5, which runs on Windows 7 Home premium.

    Hello:

Here are the different methods you can use to reset the PC.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01867418/

If none of those working, you will need to order a set of recovery disc for the specific model dv5 you have.

  • Cannot install any os in a hp pavilion dv5 - 1120ev

Hi, my friend has an hp pavilion dv5 - 1120ev, he had top, pre installed windows vista. He asked me that if I could make the computer faster, so I told him, of course, you need to change OS to do this, you must install windows 7, I said. So I took with me, put windows 7 dvd, boot from the cd/dvd drive, deleted all partitions, even the recovery partition (I didn't know it came without a copy of disk recovery tools), partitioned the drive into 2 two new partitions, formatted and continued to install the os on the primary. The dvd that I used has all versions of windows 7, 32 and 64 bit, tried all, it gets stuck on the process of expansion, to 0% files (only with one version, she was 14%, I can't remember which), and it gives me the "windows cannot install required files. the file may be corrupted or missing. "Sure... error code: 0 x 80070017. Then, I tried with another dvd with winodws 7 ultimate, same thing. I also tried with the disc do not split into two, one partition, just in case windows is having problems expanding all of the files, just in case, same thing. Then I thought it was a bios thing, he had to be updated, which to be honest there cause of the version it is F.0C, and in the support section of the hp site, I found a newer version of it, which is also described as necessary for the latest operating system upgrade. I thought wow, that's it, I found it, I will upload a version of it bootable, version bootable cd to be precise, cause the bios version there back does not support booting from usb devices, I'll update it and install the operating system. NOPE. The site has an exe of the bios version. I tried to make a disk bootable with the bios in there (with the option of nero boot disc), I guess that I've not done it right, it could be a solution, but I could use some help on this. I also tried to install windows xp, so that I can install it the update of the bios, the same thing, I get the same error, only with the old blue sceen scholl. Finally, I tried to install windows vista Home premium, just in case the bios for a reason any has only accepted this operating system, no way, same error again! So now I'm not stuck wth no operating system, a pc unusable, nothing can be installed on it. I asked my friend that if the cd/dvd drive had some kind of problem, he said, had no problem with game discs, their loading and installation of games. Please HELP I don't know what to do! Thank you

Nevermind, I managed to solve the problem by taking the hard drive, put it in another phone and the windows installation, then put it back. It worked like charm, so the problem is 100% on the DVD player.

    Thank you

Thank you very much, the problem has been resolved.

The Solution: Run Windows Update and everything will be solved, actually it was an error inherenet on vista (Micrososft ISATAP adapter) so it might conflict with the Bluetooth device, and once the update is installed, all return to it's origin.
