Excursion to Smartphones blackBerry dropped in the water...

Hey, I dropped my blackberry tour in the toilet for a few seconds, took the battery and separated dried both. When I got home, about two hours later, I put my phone in rice dry and it has been sitting for about two days. I took the lead by about a day and tried to start up my phone. my phone at all turns. It is completely fried? could it be just the battery? but my phone was also almost at low battery when I dropped it in the toilet. What should I do?

Give him a full five days IN rice and no more check it out to see if it works.

Yes, you could have fried, but maybe not. After five days, the device connected to a cable from charger from wall outlet and then replace the battery. Less than 10 minutes, you will know whether or not it is fried.

Good luck!

The first time I dropped my phone in water, so there nothing wrong with it until the next morning. When I took on the port of loading there was something black on the end of the lightning cable and the home button would not work. I decided to use the home screen button but my ipod wouldn't even load correctly. The only way for her to charge had to pull the lightning cable upwards with little force. After about a month, my home button started working again and my ipod would start loading again properly. Soon after, however, my battery died when I was away from home. Once I got home, I realized that the guest (the image of the end of the light cable and a bolt of electricity) under the battery symbol flat don't disappear once I plugged in the charger, which meant that my ipod would not charge properly again. Hoping to be able to charge the phone, I tried to clean the port of loading, but that did not work. While trying to activate (trying to keep the power button and the home button at the same time), I realized that my home button is not working properly as well. In addition, during the process of trying to resolve my home button, I think I've done worse (I bent the home button a lot). With all these problems, I'm sure I do professionally repair or replace. I am writing this to see if it might be something I can do before you spend the money.

I'm also not a very intelligent person when it comes to apple products. I would appreciate any advice that might help.

I guess that the reason it stops working was because I spilled a bit of water on it, but I'm not

Yes, the water because of damage to your iPod.

If the network 4G or iPod later Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished for this price. They do not fix yours. Price model and capaicity costs

  • Smartphones blackBerry phone lights. the red light.

So my blackberry was fine when I went to sleep. woke up and it was off a reason any. I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't. I removed the battery, it reintroduced after a bit and the solid red light came. After a while he went off... then nothing... nothing on the screen.

    HOW SHOULD I DO?

Before you do anything else, do the following:

Leave the appliance to charge 2-3 hours and then, still connected to the USB cable, remove the battery from the camera a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage).

If your BlackBerry is still under tension turned off with a black screen, follow the instructions below. The only indication of life may be the flashing red indicator light in the upper corner. Nothing seems to wake and Desktop Manager does not recognize that a device is connected.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

  • Smartphones blackBerry PIN to the United States since the France

I will be going to France in September and buy a BlackBerry and the service and wanted to know if I'd be able to another BB PIN of France? Going to cost me something? It cost the receiver anything, if the receiver of the PIN is in the United States?

E-mail pine is part of the sender, and BlackBerry package of the receiver of data. Several carriers have unlimited data plans, so in essence it is 'free' yet you pay a single monthly price for the data plan, which includes unlimited messaging of pine.

Now, if you have a capped package, say 50 MB of data for monthly and you go on this amount, in theory, you could have to pay more.

So it depends. But in most cases, no, you will pay more.

You can PIN message all over the world for no additional or international fees. None.

  • How can smartphones blackBerry I change the color of the font of the messages?

    Hello all,.

I'm severely lost when it Blackberry Storm to my CEO so please bear with me.

When he sends e-mail messages to the people, the text appears in blue.  So far I've seen emails in an Outlook 2003 client interface, so I'm not sure if what is happening in other e-mail clients.

I read virtually all "options" or "settings" category, I have found (and there is more than I can shake a stick at) and could not find anything related to e-mail fonts or font colors.

Any help is greatly appreciated, as I'm seriously out of my League with this device.  Also, if there is additional information, I could add to help you help me please ask.

    Best, Jack

All BlackBerry ONLY send messages in plain text, no HTML formatting (unless your fowarding an HTML previously received by e-mail). Blue is the color that BlackBerry use ON the response of type to indicate that you are in a response to the e-mail.

And what you see in Outlook can be affected by your own Outlook settings, but has no importance.

The email sent was the plain text, with no formatting.

  • Torch Smartphone blackBerry dropped in water

I never dropped my Torch 9800 before in more than 2 years I had it, but when I finally did it was in the bathroom.  I immediately took battery, sim and wiped with a soft paper towel.  Within 30 mins it I plunged into the rice.  The indicator of moisture on the phone itself is white.  There is a small tuft on the battery that is red, but since I never noticed before, I don't know if it is an indicator of moisture or what.  About 24 hrs in the rice I reassembled it and it came on well, but I had in my haste put wrong sim card. When I corrected the error and I replaced the battery it came not.  I am eligible to upgrade, but I don't really want to if I can bring the torch.  Back, he plunged into the rice.  I've had some people tell me that it could take several days.  I can buy a new battery, but if I have to buy a new phone, that seems a bit like a loss if it does not work.  I saw on a forum from crackberry.com when RIM technology recommends the guy BB got sweaty to immerse the phone in alcohol for 5 seconds and then let it dry for 3 days.  I might try this as a last resort, but I can't bring myself to try right now.  All suggestions, pep talk about being patient... who is not a virtue of mine.

The standard remedy is really the best way to go: 4-5 days in rice and nothing less. Since you haven't spent the whole time, you should get the phone and battery back into the rice. The fact that you have already turned on the phone it could negatively affect but put two batteries and phone back in can't hurt.

    Keep us informed.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Storm - lost the browser!

I just bought a new BlackBerry two days ago.  I just noticed that I lost the browser sometimes today.  I loaded BlackBerry Desktop Manager this afternoon and I'm doing it to add the browser on my BlackBerry but it does not either.  What can I do to recover my browser?

My cell phone (including the internet) service is with Verizon

    Hello

Let's all start, helps ensure that the browser is actually installed on your device (I'd be shocked if it's not).  Go to Options > Advanced Options > Applications and making sure that it is in the list.  If this isn't the case, please let us know.

Then, take a look in the upper right of the phone in the home screen.  She said that he: 1XEV or 1xev (or even 1 x)?  If it does not say 1XEV, you experience a problem with your connection.  Contact Verizon as they may need to check something on your end.  And while you have them on the phone, ask them to return the directories of service for you.  My recommendation is to do it from another phone as they need you to do things on the phone while talking with them.  When you call, just ask support BlackBerry and they should be able to help without problem.  They also probably re - register your phone on the network, then you can try it now if you wish.  Go to Options > Advanced Options > Tables host routing, then press the BB menu button and select Save now.

Good luck and I hope that gets you operational.  Let us know how things are going and how we can help more if you need .

  • Smartphones blackBerry frozen since the update - help!

Right, so yesterday my phone has decided to tell me here, it was an update of software available, thinking that it was a good idea I clicked on update. It wasn't a good idea. It froze on 10% for more than 10 hours, not 2 hours, he says he would. So I came here and read a few posts to see if anyone else had this problem and how they were solved. Someone said they shot the battery several times and it worked, so I tried. He turned back, it wasn't on the screen, than it was before, it looked like it would normally when it was locked, except my background had disappeared. I tried to release, but it was still frozen. So I had battery fire again because it was the only thing that would do anything and he re-charge by saying that the update is complete, but everythings gone. I have still my photos but all my applications disappeared, my contacts are gone, everything. HELP ME PLEASE?

I don't know if everything was plugged you on BlackBerry Desktop Software you pulled the battery, but if not please plug your phone back in your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  If your phone does not connect, take a look at this article:

  • PIN to blackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Messenger on the issue.

    Hi friends...

Question: It is possible to clone the BBM PIN code?  / It is possible to create duplicates BBM PIN?

I don't think that it is possible, unless you are a master hacker or something. A PIN code is unique to a BlackBerry and I don't think that you can clone it as easily. In addition, when I switched phones, my career asked IMEI of my new camera so that they can label my new PIN. I think they want to know if the camera I use is legitimate.
